I would thoroughly recommend Dr Krishna. He was extremely knowledgeable and after seeing three other doctors previously, he was the only one who was able to diagnose my condition, which he has now successfully treated. As someone who gets very nervous during procedures, he made me feel very much at ease, and after the procedures he responded to any queries I had very quickly. Dr Krishna and his team have been brilliant from start to finish.

Had my stellate ganglion block done about a week ago because I had been suffering from long covid, everything tasted horrible and I was really struggling for about 7 months. Not been able to eat anything because it all tasted rotten or like sewage and the smell was horrific. I can not recommend this injection enough honestly it’s been life changing for me, I am now able to eat EVERYTHING, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and Dr Krishna was also amazing, talked me through everything and made me feel so comfortable, I was so nervous but there friendly welcome and atmosphere made me feel so comfortable and at ease. Honestly this had been life changing for me and I’m so grateful to have found this clinic. Thank you so much

Pain Spa, Dr Krishna and nurse Lindsey have given me hope, empowerment, better health and the competent, compassionate care that I wish all sufferers of chronic conditions would get. I am deeply grateful that they exist and I would recommend their services to anyone without hesitation.
I have been suffering for several years with insufficient relief provided by the treatment I have been offered by the primary health care provider in my country (Sweden). When I finally found Pain Spa and Dr. Krishna online I didn't dare to have any expectations due to previous experiences of long waiting times, unavailability, bureaucratic nightmares for me as a patient and being neglected due to complex, chronic symtoms. When suffering, it is disheartening to receive such care and it further deepens the despair many sufferers of chronic conditions feel.
But since my suffering is limiting my life to such a great extent, I felt like it was worth giving Pain Spa a try, even if it meant a long journey to get to the appointment. And I am so deeply thankful that I did. From my perspective it has been a blessing and something that, apart from giving me better health, has strengthened me and given me more of confidence and empowerment as a sufferer of a chronic condition. Dr Krishna have provided me with a treatment that has given a great amount of hope back into my life. Every step of the way, from consultation to appointment and correspondence after treatment, the care provided have been excellent, professional and compassionate.
Dr Krishna communicates in a manner that builds trust, where I as a patient have felt extensively informed, empowered, been able to have realistic expectations and gotten valuable feedback all the way. I have been taken seriously and felt listened to in a manner that should be the norm when it comes to patients with chronic illnesses, but sadly isn't the case all too often.
When undergoing the injection-treatment (in my case) I felt safe, in good hands and everything went well all the way through. I didn't experience any complications and I felt that if complications would have occurred, as they can with all medical interventions, I was in the best hands possible.
The treatment itself has been a blessing that has given me room to breathe and feel normal, not invaded by crippling pain and other excruciating symptoms for some time. Although the effect has waned, it exceeds all other treatments I have received and I was fully informed that the outcomes vary individually and that repeated treatments may give better effect in some cases. My response to the treatment was fair, and I will probably need additional treatments for a possible, longer benefit.
Although the treatment hasn't eliminated all my symptoms - an outcome that was clear to me all the way through, and an outcome that nevertheless has exceeded my expectations as well as all other treatments I have received elsewhere by far - I am deeply grateful that Pain Spa, Dr Krishna and Lindsey exists to make compassionate medical expertise available for patients like me. I will without hesitation return for additional treatments if Dr Krishnas assessment is that I can benefit further and I have no reason not to recommend Pain Spa.
The response to treatment is individual and of course no doctor can promise a certain outcome - and if they do, that's usually a red flag. But when it comes to Pain Spa, there have been no red flags. Only a liberating sense of being taken seriously as a patient. The probability of getting better is, in my view, immensely larger when in good hands and in contact with a competent, compassionate health care provider that shows interest in the patient and values the knowledge the patient can provide about his or her condition and suffering. Pain Spa is such a healthcare provider and based on my experience I can nothing but recommend other patients in need to give their services a try.
Kind regards,
Robin, 29, lawyer from Sweden

I have been a patient of Dr Krishna's for many years now. He is the most professional yet caring, skillful and kind Doctor I have had the pleasure to come across during my lifetime of visits to hospitals, which have been many. He always explains everything in a way that I understand, he makes sure you know how your treatment plan is going, he is like a ray of sunshine. When you are suffering with pain which can make you very low, this is the Doctor you need to see. He is very skilled at his profession, extremely precise, professional but at the same time makes you feel at ease when your feeling anxious. He has always given me the exact treatment for my pain. It's always helped and eased my pain away. So thank you so much Dr Krishna for all your help. Mrs Lacey

I am so thankful to have discovered the Pain Spa Clinic. Dr. Krishna and Jan are wonderful! They are the first people who have listened to and understood my chronic pain problems. In addition to that, Dr. Krishna knew exactly what to do to help me. Since he treated me with Botox injections to manage my chronic migraines, my attacks have reduced from 15 per month to just 4 per month! Even these have significantly reduced in intensity and I have been given my quality of life back! This is life changing for me and would not have happened without everything Dr. Krishna and Jan have done! The care and respect shown for me has been second to none, from the first consultation, through treatment to the wonderful aftercare from Jan, who always rings after treatment to see how I am. Words are not enough to express how very, very grateful I am to have met you both and I highly recommend the Pain Spa Clinic to anyone suffering from chronic pain. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart!

Simply amazing. Drove 3 hours from Kent to get pain treatment from Pain Spa after 6 months of getting thrown from doctor to doctor by the NHS with no progress being made or a confirmed diagnosis of my unknown side pain.
Not only was the pain relief injection quick and relatively painless, the kind and caring Doctor Krishna & Nurse Lindsey made me feel comfortable throughout. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough.
Thank you so much! You’ve made me feel human again.

I have to say, being in pain is not fun at all, and when you have been to hospital so many times for operations it's daunting when further pain relief treatment is required. My experience with Dr.Krishna and Jan (the lovely nurse), was just exceptional. I was made to feel very relaxed, as I was nervous about the treatments I was having. The treatments were explained, and what I would feel whilst having the treatment, and what the treatment would do for me. I did not feel the injections at all and were administered with the utmost care to ensure it was as painless as possible - and it was! I have had this treatment before (not with the Pain Spa), and it was extremely painful - so thank you Dr.Krishna and Jan for your care, and particularly your understanding and kind nature as I was so nervous. I couldn't have wished for a better service, and won't go anywhere else!
I would highly recommend anyone who has continuing pain not to suffer, and go to the Pain Spa for treatment. Not only do I feel better, it's the wonderful service that Dr.Krishna and Jan provide. Thank you so much.

I have been suffering from severe abdominal pain for nine months resulting in repeated visits to my GP, emergency department visits and a range of procedures including surgery without any success - in even getting a diagnosis. I have been unable to walk, sit or carry out any type of movement without experiencing severe pain, and even strong pain relief has not been effective. With the risk of losing my job as a nurse, I made the decision to attend an appointment at the Pain Spa to see if they could shed some light on my symptoms and condition.
It was the best decision I could have made. During the consultation Dr Krishna discussed how abdominal wall pain could be causing my current pain. He discussed several options available to me including acupuncture and TENS machine, but I was adamant I wanted the Steroid/anaesthetic injection. I felt the benefit of the injection before getting off the treatment table and am not ashamed to say I shed a few tears of relief. My husband said I "bounced with joy" back into the waiting room.
Since the treatment I have been able to walk without any pain and discomfort, but decided to have the pulsed radio frequency treatment to reduce any further niggles. It's been less than a week since then and I am completely off my Tramadol doses. I couldn't have contemplated returning to any type of work - let alone my full time community nurse role prior to this injection treatment. As it is, my return to work date is now set within the next two weeks.
I cannot thank Dr Krishna and Jan McKechnie enough for their professional and compassionate care throughout my treatment. Without this successful treatment, I faced many more months of treatment with the risk of no correct diagnosis being found. I have been given back my quality of life and will be forever grateful to them for that. Thank you once again Jan for your support and follow up care.

After a harrowing experience and 6 weeks in hospital my family clubbed together to get me the treatment I needed. I was diagnosed with ACNES and faced and agonising 18 week wait for ultrasound guided steroid injections.
Jan instilled such confidence in us within the first few minutes if our initial phone enquiry. Her knowledge of my condition and of the treatment was amazing. We were offered and appointment within a week and we accepted.
Dr Krishna was polite, friendly and very knowledgeable. During the consultation he was extremely thorough and answered all of my questions before I even had to ask them. During the procedure he guided me through everything he was doing and explained every step. Both Jan and Dr Krishna put me at ease which is no small feat!
I am happy to say that within a few days of my procedure I am now pain free and the happiest I have been in a very long time.
I shall return if I ever need any further treatment without any doubt at all!
Thank you Jan and Dr Krishna.

I have been treated by Dr Murli Krishna and his team as an NHS patient since 2014 for severe migraine (regular Botox injections), and since 2018 for severe back pain (Radio Frequency Lesioning/Denervation).
My migraines were so severe that they made me feeling suicidal at times. Migraine attacks could last between 6 hours up to 3 days, often on a pain scale of 8-10 of 10. Conventional treatment by strong opioid pain-relievers seemed to have worked for a limited time only -- in fact, it had increased the frequency/severity of my migraine attacks.
Once referred to the Pain Clinic by my GP, I have tried other treatments such as TENS, acupuncture, and CBT, but those have not worked for me at all; CBT merely equipped me with an insight into workings of pain on theoretical basis only. Dr Krishna suggested trying regular Botox injections as per protocol, repeated every 3-4 months, and I haven't looked back since. Although migraines have not completely disappeared, they were much less frequent, and much less severe. Without an exaggeration, a true lifesaver - I am still here to tell the tale.
Suffering from severe neuropathic pain (on account of inherited Charcot-Marie-Tooth), and having survived with severe back pain, on Dr Krishna's suggestion, I am very happy to have tried Radio Frequency Lesioning (Denervation), also known as Permanent Nerve Block. First of all, there was a trial run of Temporary Nerve Block to see whether I would actually benefit from this. Luckily, it worked for me, so Dr Krishna could proceed with the actual denervation procedure. The NHS pays for this treatment once every 16 months - and since it gave me first 16 months of successful pain relief, I am now about to undergo next treatment.
Dr Krishna has always treated me as a patient with utmost care, respect, and professionalism. He understood how dehumanising the experience of chronic severe pain can be, and focused on getting me better. For this I shall be always grateful. A big "Thank you, Dr K.!".

Dr Krishna saw me for chronic pain caused by sacroiliac joint. I had RFA treatment and my life has been turned around again (I previously had this treatment but the pain came back). I found Dr Krishna very approachable and knowledgeable. He and his team treated me very well while under his care. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others that find themselves in pain.

I had my SGB for PTSD booked with Dr Krishna.
My PTSD was escalated to such an extent that i
i felt i had to to retire from work. Problems for my well-being and extreme anxiety and social isolate from friends and relatives.
I was first very skeptical about the SGB. i needed to try like everything else and i was desperate for help my symptoms was really bad. Me and the Pain team had a longer correspondence before the treatment and i finally decided to leave Sweden to meet Dr. Krishna. I had a very stressful flight and check-in and I was completely lost and stressed when i meet Dr Krishna and Nurse Lindsey at their Pain clinic. We hade a consultation where Dr Krishna did a detailed clinical assessment and medical history together with my medical certificates. the questions were detailed about my PTSD symptoms and after assessment we went too the operation room i was really scared of the needle it didn't hurt but it felt
unpleasant and right after the needle come out i was disappointed could not feel anything and became even more stressed until 30 seconds later it was like a big rush everything in my body released it felt like 1000 kilo of my body was gone and i was really happy that the treatment was a success.
I went back to the hotel and the first improvements I could see and feel was that I could have eye contact and talk without being uncomfortable with the receptionist i could even go to the hotel bar and just go around with out being tense.
And i tried to think about the trauma i can think about it but not long and its not negative thoughts or painful any more. Before i could dig down with my thoughts in the trauma but is not like that anymore. I feel a harmony that I have never known before.
This treatment was priceless for me i don’t know how long i will feel like this but I'm happy for everyday the Dr thought 4-5 mounts the first injection sometimes life long.
Dr Krishna is very skilled with the needle he did a perfect block on my C6 the treatment was very successful. Dr Krishna is like a god for me he gave me my life back.

I really cannot express how grateful I am that Dr Krishna and his team firstly exist, and secondly that they have helped me so much. I had been experiencing pain, scream out loud and bang your head against a wall pain, all day, every day, numb legs, numb feet and increasing depression. Dr Krishna was understanding, kind and knowledgeable about ACNES, my treatment has worked and life has begun anew. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I have suffered lower back pain now for the past four years. I have gone from someone that enjoyed sporting activities on a daily basis, to hardly being able to tie my shoelaces. I have tried everything from physios to chiropractors without any lasting success.
Chronic pain like this tends to take over your life and really does get you down. I was recommended Dr Kristna at the Pain Spa from a friend. The main thing I found was he is incredibly positive and listens to what you have to say. He will persist in your treatment until you are well.
All consultations are followed up by Jan his nurse within a few days. She is always contactable by phone should you have any issues.
In conclusion Dr Kristna has helped me immensely and I would not hesitate to recommend The Pain Spa to friends and family.

After an initial diagnosis from my GP, Dr. Krishna confirmed that I was suffering from ACNES (Acute Cutaneous Nerve Entrapment Syndrkme). I'd been suffering from abdominal pain for 8 months and after a ultrasound and CT scan, the pain was still there but was still no answer. This is when I discovered the Pain Spa. Dr. Krishna was very knowledgeable about ACNES and explained the treatment options available. I had nerve ablation therapy and after that my pain was GONE! It was amazing to finally have an answer. Dr. Krishna was so patient and understanding. I am absolutely delighted and would highly recommend the Pain Spa.

Painspa is fantastic!! This is the first time I've ever written a google review but I just had to share how incredible they are & how much they have helped me. From their informative website to my first telephone conversation, to my consultation and ultimately my procedure PainSpa's wonderful nurse Jan & the amazing pain medicine consultant Dr Krishna were incredible. I was treated wonderfully, with care, respect, professionalism, understanding and, most importantly, they reduced my pain!! I came to them having been bed ridden for 6 months & in immense pain. I am lucky enough to have a wonderful GP & I see several different nhs hospital specialists who were all trying their best to help me but I was a prisoner to my pain & it affected every area of my life. Within 3 weeks of seeing Dr Krishna I was off my Oramorph, out of bed, back at work (on light duties & short hours) and feeling like a person again. Obviously they aren't miracles workers; they can't cure complex &/or long term health issues but they can have a huge impact on your pain. They certainly reduced my pain & gave me my life back.
I went to their clinic at The Willows & I honestly can't recommend them highly enough. I am not linked to them in any way, shape or form other than being a normal paying customer like everyone else. I just hope this review helps someone as I've been helped.

I have been to pain spa before and felt I was treated with the upmost respect and dignity. All staff were very professional and have never failed to remain professional and show a high level of care and knowledge of their skills. My treatment has meant that I have had to keep in contact with the team on a frequent basis and have found they are always at the other end of the phone. Nothing ever seems to be too much trouble for them and they're always happy to help. I am always fully notified of any changes needed in my treatment routine and feel that everything is always explained to me clearly and on my level. They're fantastic!!

I found Dr Krishna to be very knowledgeable and helpful. I haven't had treatment with him as was, wrongly I believe, advised not to have procedure by another health professional who didn't understand it. I regret not going ahead. Dr Krishna was very patient and fair and refunded my payment no problem. I am hoping Dr Krishna will still treat me as I now wish to go ahead.

Dr Murli Krishna has given my my life back. I know it sounds like a cliché, but I've seen about 20+ doctors over the past 3 or 4 years and he is the only one that has understood and really made a difference. He really understands chronic migraine and is really talented and skilled at administering botox injections. This treatment has changed my life and I am so grateful.

I think the last review couldn't be further from the truth. I visited Pain Spa last month and the team were fantastic! Very attenative to my needs and went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. They were extremely efficient and I wasn't made to wait for hours in a waiting room for my appointment. I loved the fact I was in and out, but equally felt I had adequate time to ask any questions I needed to, and I felt Jan and Dr. Krishna had a wealth of knowledge to be able to answer my quieries. I would recommend Pain Spa to anyone without a doubt!

Dr Krishna carried our two Stellate Ganglion blocks. My experience could not of been better. Staff were professional and put you at ease throughout the procedure. It was quick and painless.

I have had radio Lessioning Therapy also know as Radio Lessioning Denervation a number of times and for me it lasts up to 12 months of pain free living. Although there is pain as it is being carried out it does not last long soon you can be pain free and able to do a lot more than you could before. Full relief can take up to 6 weeks but the results can be spectacular.

Very professional and friendly . My stellate ganglion block went perfectly well.

I had a consultation and injections on the same day (09/08/17). A professional and friendly service that I would recommend to anyone.
