T. F.Roland is a fantastic accupuncturint and a lovely person, I couldn't reccomend him highly enough. He's knowledgable, confident and mindful in his approach and has been an important part of my ongoing recovery from long covid. He's happy to discuss the treatments, chinese medicine, energetics and qi gong and values the relational aspect of the practice. He's warm, open and humble which makes you feel comfortable from the off, and has created a really calm and healing environment for his sessions.

M. L.I've just completed a series of 6 weekly sessions with Roland having seen an article on him in The Spark and needing some serious support for stress and nervous system depletion. I had never had acupuncture before but it felt right. In 6 weeks I feel much more stable, informed, reassured, supported and healed. I have also been taking care of my diet, and supplementing with Ashwaganda, muti vits and Onopordon CompB (homeopathic) which the doctor prescribed. I've not been tempted to take the pharmaceuticals on offer.
I have very much appreciated Roland's intuitive, kind and straightforward way, his attentive listening both to my story and my body, and choice of treatments that have arisen from that. Using needles and Moxibustion (the burning of Mugwort at certain points on the body) I felt Roland was very much awake to what was going on week to week, what I brought, my changing energy levels and feelings, and - as part of my difficulty was related to blood -, my menstrual cycle. I remember feeling deeply content that in receiving the work I was part of an ancient healing tradition that understands the body in ways that transcend culture and time.
I'll be having fortnightly sessions going forward. Highly recommended.
