I started last year with no success with the NHS as they had very long waiting lists for acne treatments (over 24 months). I was recommended Dermaskin and it has taken a while but we have managed to find the perfect medications for me. My skin is not completely clear but it is at least 90% better. I really feel that not enough people write about their experiences and I have waited over a year to give my personal journey with this clinic. They have very high demand so I still had to wait (I waited 7 weeks to see the doctor) but their service is amazing once there is a new patient slot. I am very happy!

Having had so many great treatments at Dermaskin I felt that I should let people know. I was initially shy about letting my secret out but after having so many compliments from my family and friends I feel that I can be honest about the little tweaks that I have had! I was first introduced to the clinic by a girlfriend who had been going for years. She said that the staff were absolutely amazing and that the clinic wasn't pushy or sales orientated. I was so relieved that everything was explained thoroughly and I was given leaflets and information on all the treatments I was interested in. At no point was anything 'sold' to me and I never felt under pressure. Such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The clinic has really well qualified medics and dentists working and they all really know their stuff. In fact, they even gave me advice on a completely unrelated medical issue (just part of the great service) and didn't charge me for the consult. This really is a clinic from the heart and it shows. I have been having treatments for a few years and have been to a few different clinics with varying success. I was recently recommended Dermaskin by a good friend and I am happy to say that I have had an absolutely fantastic experience. They are great listeners and understand the intricacies of technical facial procedures. I have specific requirements and I am so glad that I was recommended to come here. The treatment was for a special occasion and they made sure that they saw me with enough time to spare so that any adjustments could me made in time. This clinic is definitely worth a visit and it is run by *the* most professional staff. The place is immaculate and the reception staff are particularly knowledgeable and helpful, and highly qualified in their profession. I have known the founders on a professional basis for a long time, and so it wasn't a difficult choice to make for me. If you have any skin issues and want trustworthy, honest advice then this is the clinic for you. The best thing is that they are completely upfront with their advice and Dr Sid advised my mother to have a face lift before she came to see him. He could have treated her but decided that she would have the best treatment by spending her money on surgery. We are clients for life! Fantastic staff & clinic!

I highly recommend Dermaskin clinic. Tiffany who is a nurse and works out of both the Bristol and Cardiff branch is a credit to the company. I was extremely nervous of having filler and botox done, but Tiffany took the time to explain the procedure in full, putting me at ease and her friendly manner relaxes you completely. The results are amazing and I get complimented for the shape and natural fullness to my lips. If you want to feel like you’re in safe hands I would definitely consider getting your Botox and fillers done here.

Were used Dermaskin (Cardiff) to provide our family PCRs, fit to fly. With a very nervous 8 year old this was always going to be a tender process - BUT - the fantastic service and pure patience and professionalism of the Dermaskin staff was nothing short of outstanding, without their commitment it would have surely gone horribly wrong. The tests were conducted and results returned in the timelines with the full and detailed letters exactly as needed when at the airport. The whole process was highly efficient and filled us with confidence from beginning to end. I highly recommend Dr Sid and Dermaskin clinic. I’ve only visited once so far but my first experience has been great. I was a bit nervous about the swelling I experienced after my Botox injections as it was my first time getting them, so I emailed the clinic for some advice and I really appreciate that Dr Sid took the time to email me to reassure me that this was normal. The swelling went down very quickly as he predicted, and the results are better than I ever expected, as not only has he frozen my frown but also corrected the eyebrow asymmetries that I previously had. If you want to feel like you’re in safe hands I would definitely consider getting your Botox done here.

"My girlfriend used somebody else tried to shop around loking for cheaper can be cost more to fix it, if is get messed up and don't even mentioned the stress come with it, of course I dont name it, she is been sorted here and well looked after now my sugest dont go nowhere eles definitely Dermaskin Clinic is place and the best I ever used and will use it again. I have been going to Dr Sid for around 9 years for several different treatments and he recently helped me out with a problem I encountered at another clinic....first time of trusting someone else and the last, Sid has reassured me and I trust him 110% in all services offered. I visited Jen in the Cardiff clinic for my very first lip filler treatment. She was attentive, knowledgable, reassuring and experienced. Most of the reviews I have read are about Sid. Although I have never been to see Sid, he is lovely. If he comes into the waiting area he always takes the time to say hello and pass the time of day with you. I have been attending Dermaskin for a few years now to see Helen. She deals with the dental side of the practice and she is quite frankly, a genius! Her work is impeccable, she has a wonderful manner which instantly puts you at ease and you feel you have known her forever. She is extremely knowledgeable and her skills as a dentist are second to none. My teeth were in a terrible state and she fixed them so they are now perfect which has given me back my confidence. I will never go anywhere else. All the staff are incredibly friendly and welcome you by name when you arrive. You are offered tea or coffee whilst you wait in an extremely attractive waiting area (with a sculpture I am very envious of). I am very glad I stumbled upon this clinic. It is probably the best thing I ever did.

i was suffering terrible with chronic sinusitis, no smell or taste coughing up mucus constantly, my life was hell. I suffered all last year as well going back and fore to the doctors. Then a friend told me that he used this clinic to have an injection fo his hay fever I had nothing to loose so I made an appointment to have the injection. All the staff were great and Dr Sid who did the injection was very understanding and told me I would feel a difference in 24 hours. I couldn’t believe the results my symptoms all disappeared it was as though a miracle had occurred i felt great. Unbelievable I would recommend this clinic to anyone they explain all you need to know. I cannot praise them enough. I later had an insect bite which became infected and they sorted that out. I only wish I had known about DERMASKIN much earlier One word EXCELLENT.

If you are early to your appointment you are offered a cup of tea or coffee. The waiting room has a delightful ambiance, with a soothing decor and a wonderful sculpture in the corner. Sid is such a pleasant, polite man. He always has a few words for me even though I am not a patient of his. His Wife, Helen, is even nicer. She has a wonderful manner which puts you at ease immediately. She explains fully what she is about to do. I am not exaggerating when I state, Helen is the best dentist anywhere! I had extreme problems and was told by several other institutions that there was nothing more could be done for me. My Daughter advised me to go and see Helen. Am I glad I did! My teeth are now practically perfect and my periodontal problems are 95% better. Thank you Helen! In the past I would walk out of the Dentist feeling grotty and miserable. Now, while I am there and before I leave, I am drawn into conversations with different members of staff. I recently visited the Cardiff clinic in Cardiff Bay. The first thing that I noticed was the picturesque setting, and found it very relaxing to be able to look out on the waterfront during my Botox treatment. The clinic is very clean and the staff are all very welcoming, professional and provided a warm welcome. Initially I was a bit nervous, but I immediately felt at ease when Dr Sid answered all of my questions and talked me through the areas that I wanted treated. I had botox before by my dentis and the experience was not a nice one. I heard about dermaskin and the reviews were good. I've just had my first visit there and they are great I got there early and they fitted me in. We discussed my previous experience and we went over fully what would happen and after care and free top up! I had to pay for that with my last at dentist. I found out about Dermaskin online after looking for a place to have Botox. Booking was an easy process via the phone. Reception were informative and very helpful. As this was my first ever treatment they reassured me about the process and offered an initial consultation as part of my first booking. I found this useful as I was able to discuss my aims and get the appropriate treatment that I needed. Results were great and I was even offered a top up after two weeks at no extra charge. These guys know what they are doing and i'd have no issues recommending Dermaskin to anyone. In fact I already have. I now travel at distance to use Dermaskin, no longer living in Cardiff. This is worth it! Its great to find a clinic you can trust.

I recently came across this clinic after a recommendation given by a friend. I have had terrible skin issues around my temples and have been doing the rounds of doctors and specialists for many years. I decided to give Dermaskin a try even though I had pretty much given up hope. To my pleasant surprise, the treatment prescribed by the doctor and the subsequent laser sessions have completely cleared my temples! I am absolutely over the moon and have decided that I can now go out without a hat on constantly. The skin has never looked fresher. Always a great service, friendly staff, competitive prices and ample parking. Really pleased with the results of my treatments -always subtle rather than it being obvious you've had something done which is exactly what I think most of us want! The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that it can sometimes be difficult to book in if you want a late appointment unless you plan weeks ahead and sometimes the appointments are running behind schedule and you have a bit of a wait. But I guess that's what happens when the treatments are so good and unrushed!

Had a top and bottom brace fitted from Dermaskin Cardiff. Fantastic service from the time I walked through the door! Cannot fault anything about this practice...I was recommended this place by someone and I now do the same! The brace is now off and I am over the moon with the results! Had the c02 laser under eyes. Can't see results yet as to soon. But my experience was horrendous. There was no aesthetic numbing creams nothing. Was extremely painful. And would only have this done again with some sort of local anaesthetic as they seem to do in other places. ........ I have spoken to Sid since and he has explained to me that the treatment works over time and that everybodys pain threshold is different. I found it painfull BUT no pain no gain. I will be having the treatment again as the results are supposed to be great and I do trust Sid as I have been seeing him for years with other treatments. I was just very uncomfortable at the time and am looking forward to seeing results in the near future.

Total delight. Firstly amazing surroundings. This little (but perfectly formed) surgery is nestled in Cardiff Wharf. It over looks the water and immediately puts you in a calming mood before treatment. The reception staff are welcoming and there is an array of reading material for leisure, and clearly for information purposes regarding treatment. Helen (my Consultant) was exceptionally well informed and very honest about what could be achieved. Unlike many practices the Consultants here are medically trained. As much as I cannot praise Dr. Sid any higher, my last experience was not great. Unfortunately, I needed to book a last minute appointmemt which meant I couldn't see Dr. Sid. Instead I saw a woman (can't remember her name) and she put too much Botox in my upper lip. I spent the next month not able to use my upper lip, not able to sip drink through a straw or purse my lips to kiss my partner. Bit of a damper when the reason for my last minute appointment was a romantic trip to Paris. I informed Dermaskin about it and they booked me in to see Dr. Sid. He did what he could to help but obviously with Botox, what's done can't be taken away and I had to wait for it to wear off. It took the best part of 6 weeks to be able to use my upper lip properly again. I was disappointed that dermaskin didn't offer anything to compensate for this experience but Dr. Sid is so good at what he does, I can't imagine going anywhere else.
