We had a Gender and wellness check, this has made me feel so much better as we had an ectopic pregnancy in August which lead to me having emergency surgery. Having the wellness check in between appointments just put us both at ease and to also finish of the year finding out we are having a baby girl really was so lovely! Thank you so much!

The staff are so warm, welcoming, very professional and the environment as a whole is very clean! E. P.Initial scan was lovely, everyone was friendly however afterwards, someone else’s scan video was sent to me instead of my own. After a few days of chasing this up I was told my scan video had been lost. I’m quite disappointed as I was looking forward to showing my partner and family and having the video to look back on. I was offered a free scan video at my next scan with Window to the Womb but I doubt I’d pay to go back for another one.
C. L.It was a very basic scan centre, Personally I had a better experience at First Encounters for my first 4D scan and booked with window of the womb to see if we could get better pictures of baby but sadly not, our baby is just too stubborn! At first encounters you are in separate rooms to other couples so there's a lot more privacy and filled forms online which was a lot easier rather than in a room with other couples we could hear everybody's conversations going on and also payment was taken straight away here at window to the womb so even if you wasnt happy with the end outcome it would be too late they've already got your money where as at First Encounters payment is taken at the end which I felt was a lot better and a lot less rushed for payment, Nethertheless we enjoyed our first visit here even if we didn't get the best of photos cos of baby not co-operating but if I was asked for the best place to get a 4D scan I would say First Encounters 100%.
To improve I feel like Window to the womb should consider taking payment after the appointments and offer extras after the scan not before, maybe consider sorting forms out online rather than in person due to the no privacy i just felt like everyone was watching me.. and also manage the appointments a bit more spaced so there's not so many all in one room (especially those with kids running around).
c. t.Cannot recommend this place enough! We've had 2 visits here now and both were amazing! First was an early scan at around 6-7 weeks, recommended an internal scan which I was happy with, they double and triple checked that I was comfortable with this. Showed and explained things and asked if I had questions. Second was today where I had a well being and gender scan, they checked if we were finding out the gender in the room or secret in a letter and confirmed it whilst waiting and also twice in the room to ensure no spoilers! Everyone was lovely and polite, we were told about extras which we went ahead with, there was no pushing or 'hounding' of any sort as suggested by others, yes they were prompt in getting payment before hand but typically you pay for things before hand anyway? They are a buisness and ensures noone leaves without paying for services! You don't go get a TV from the shop then pay after you've gone home and watched it?😅 sonographer and the assistant were thorough, kind and friendly! Explained everything, pointed everything out for us all to see. LOVED that you see the scan on big tv's around the room instead of a computer screen! Nice dimmed lighting, and once done he checked if we had any questions then we were kindly shown where we could sit down, looked through the photos and chose what ones we wanted (on both visits)! Just an all round friendly, personal experience that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone! I will definitely be going back for any further scans!

We were really happy with our 4d scan today. Baby took his time to turn and face forward but we finally got some great pictures after a little walk and a wiggle. The gentleman who did both our scans early reassurance scan and 17 week gender scan was absolutely amazing he gave us so much detail about our little baby we even had a sneak peak of 4D at our gender scan.

They have a huge range of teddy's which they put the heartbeat in gender reveal balloons and cannons. From start to finish the nicest experience ever.

There was a young lady working there think her name is Steffi young blond lady.. she was so helpful and couldn’t of helped use anymore was very busy in there and my daughter was a bit overwhelmed with what is offered with all the choices. This young lady was patient & kind with reassurances that were weren’t being annoying. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience the whole team were fantastic but Steffi went over & beyond can’t thank her enough

The sonographer (Emeka) was very knowledgeable and talked you through everything he sees on the ultrasound. He has a very engaging approach which makes you feel he is as excited as you are!
All in all a great place to go for a private scan - will definitely visit again :)

The place was immaculate with distancing put in place for all staff and visitors. All staff went above and beyond to help it be as perfect as it could be, with all the current restrictions it’s been difficult going to appointment without my partner but Window to the Womb gave us the opportunity to experience it all together. I can’t thank all the staff enough for everything they done while at my visit (18/11/20) A plan to revisit to see our little girl again is all ready being planned.

M. J. S.Sonographer was so knowledgeable and helpful. Experience in reception was poor and have shared my concerns with management- reception staff reading out sensitive information to clients in the waiting room with other customers present.
Main surprise was the extra charge for photos and video of scan, when other local private scan companies offer all pictures and videos inclusive of price (which was also £10 cheaper).
The multitude of gender reveal paraphernalia is evidence that the company are keen to stretch their profit margin above gaining client referrals. My advice - "shop around" and ask about extra charges before you decide where to book.

I went here for a first scan at 7+6, my early gender scan at 16+5 and due to having an anterior placenta advised to go for a 4d scan from 24 weeks so I went yesterday at 24+6 and they were fab.
3 scans ive had at the cardiff branch were amazing, was talked through what was happening all the way though and made ever so at ease.
Not one fault with them.
