The best GP care I have ever received. Compassionate, understanding, and responsive. I feel truly listened to and involved in decisions about my care, and actions such as referrals are followed up on promptly. Reception staff are also excellent. They have made a real positive impact on my life after having some bad experiences with other GPs. Great online appointment and prescription service, and I can always get through on the phone. I don't understand how anybody has given a bad review. There is one nurse I ask not to see because her bedside manner leaves me feeling told off and anxious, but every other person at the practice has been patient, kind, and clear.

The employees here are fantastic! In my experience they have never been busy but registering as a new patient took a little while however the people who work at reception do their hardest to accommodate a lot of people. A little bit of kindness is needed in this world and always treat the staff with respect.

Truly lovely people. The reception team are considerate and helpful when calling to make an appointment. The nurses are caring, chatty make genuine attempts to settle nerves, and the GPs themselves are fantastic at listening and validating your concerns. The most helpful GP I've been registered with.

Went there for gp appointment everything was good, had all the tests done and I did not have to beg the gp to do them (normally they discourage patients from getting tested)

Always happy to help and find ways to support despite set policies in place, if these do not work for you the receptionists always go out their way to find a way round things to help when you need it. Always quick to respond by calling back, putting through prescriptions so you have medicine in time. Have even been offered the doctor herself drop off medication to my home when the prescription hadn’t been processed as planned in error. Always feel very looked after and prioritised. Couldn’t ask for a better doctor surgery.

I personally only had good experiences with the surgery. Most of the time what you give is what you get, I have always been polite and patient, and all receptionist were easy to talk to and nice to me. Waiting for an appointment can be long indeed, even outside of the pandemic, but I would not think it is the fault of the staff.

very good surgery. co-operative , helping and kind. Dr.Singleton, Dr Cooper and Dr msgroove are the best doctors in this gp, others are also very good but these three are doctors of doctors . they know what they are doing . you can trust on them completly. reception staff is also very nice & kind except a few new ones . the standard of their treatment is no less than private clinics. I was there for almost 9 years without any problems. had to leave as i left the place and with a very heavy heart i had to leave the gp with change of address. i wasn't getting time to write a review which i always wanted. i wish luck and a bright future to everyone woking with this gp. and thanks to all who treated me there. i higly recommend this gp.

I've been with this surgery and its predecessor (Leith Walk Surgery) for over two decades and all I have is praise for its medical, nursing and phlebotomist staff. Doctors are professional, knowledgeable and sympathetic. The (almost) new site in Duke Street is modern and more accessible for all people. Leith Surgery could be very busy at times so it's advisable to book appointments on the phone to save you and the front desk staff valuable time. You can also ask for a repeated prescription via its website. All in all my GP and the whole team are properly looking after that big community that is Leith. Keep up the good work!

A superb surgery. They use modern technology to enable you to communicate. Follow ups are done as promised. Their receptionists are highly efficient and helpful. Because of this efficiency, the GPs take time to listen and instil confidence.

Almost all the reception desk staff I have dealt with have been very judgmental and a bit rude. HOWEVER, I have seen about 5-6 different doctors and nurses at this surgery, and all of them have been incredibly helpful, empathetic, kind, and professional, so I would definitely recommend it.
