What a lovely medical centre this is! I had a pleasant conversation with the receptionist Mary who was very polite and caring. I never felt as if i was being hurried off the phone or that i was being a bother. Not only was my query answered but I was also given further information about why the process was taking so long to complete. Unfortunately, due to an error, the end of my call was cut off prematurely. Rather than just leave it, I was called back and apologised too. This made me feel very valued. With the strain on the Health service as it is, it good to see that kindness and politeness hasn't been sidelined. Thank you Mary.

Dr Veluchamy managed to accommodate me around my busy work schedule, she is a lovely mannered, thorough and very professional doctor. I have been a patient at this practice since I was a very young child and have only ever received top quality care from lovely individuals. This past year has been probably the most difficult in a doctors entire career and we should be eternally grateful for their dedication.

Having only moved to Edinburgh recently we had to go through the process of being allocated a GP surgery. Although I'm incredibly lucky not to suffer from Ill health I've only had to use the surgery a couple of times and I can't fault the staff and nurses. I know it can be quite difficult to get a last minute appointment, but if you live nearby they will accept walk-ins from 8am and will try and allocate an appointment for that day - believe first appointments are from 08.40am.

My first experience at this clinic today was lovely. The reception staff and Dr Pitcairn were all very friendly and accommodating and we felt very welcome. Dr Pitcairn seemed very knowledgeable and went out of her way to source a special prescription for my daughter. Highly recommended.

I am pleased to have registered with this practice who have a first rate collection of GP partners, and excellent cover from high quality locus when needed.
