I first went to Paul as a last resort during a difficult time in my life when I had both physical and emotional health issues. Conventional medicine had only offered me pain killers and sleeping pills which I was not happy about taking. Paul is genuinely interested in his patients and is very easy to talk to about your personal problems. You never feel uncomfortable or rushed and best of all his treatments really work! I continue to have regular appointments with Paul to maintain the huge improvements in my health and well being. If you want a more gentle and natural way of looking after yourself make an appointment to see Paul!

I went to Paul because of ongoing sore throats and congestion in the Fall; having seen acupuncturists before, I was hoping he could help, and his treatments were even more effective than I had hoped for! After about a month of weekly treatments, my immune system was boosted and sinus problems were entirely cleared. In fact, I went on a trip to India (obviously a whole new germ pool) and stayed completely well (I didn't even get the typical stomach bug). In addition to being a highly skilled acupuncturist, Paul is also a really nice and present person--which I also greatly appreciated after getting very rushed, not-very-thoughtful treatment from doctors who kept just handing me antibiotics that weren't helping. Obviously, I'm super grateful I read other good reviews of Paul's practice and went.

Paul is amazing and my savior. During my business trip to Cardiff, suddenly I had a severe back pain, was hard to move my body, and needed to be taken care. Despite of my urgent request mail, Paul kindly received me at 9:00 in the morning. His careful treatment miraculously removed my pain. During my treatment, we had an enjoyable talk. Because of him, I was able to continue my trip and back home safely. Paul kindly emailed me when I returned to my home and asked how my back pain was. I consulted Paul a few years ago as recurrent IVF failure had left me feeling physically exhausted and emotionally depleted. I'd read that acupuncture could be helpful with fertility issues but my experience was much more rewarding than I'd ever expected. I found the treatment helped my physical fertility problems and to restore my energy and confidence to undergo more rounds of IVF. It also helped me to deal with work stress, problems sleeping, neck pain and recover from a bout of shingles. Just over a year ago our IVF cycle was successful and I'm now the proud parent of a beautiful baby boy. I've no doubt the acupuncture was integral in the success of that. I am 66 years old and have arthritis in my hips, knees and lower spine. I also have a torn cartilage in my knee and am awaiting knee and hip surgery. Consequently, my daily pain level is high, but I have a problem with anti inflammatory drugs and was looking for another option. My daughter recommended Paul Burdon as a patient of his. From the onset, I was really impressed with Mr Burdon's thorough investigation into both my current and medical history, which is fundamental to a this approach to pain relief and healing. Based upon this, he writes an individual treatment plan for each patient and gives a full explanation before and during procedures. You will obviously feel sensation when acupuncture needles are used, but it is certainly not as painful as one might have imagined. Mr Burdon continually checks on your comfort during the procedure. I had five treatments and would have continued had I not been given a date for knee surgery. I had acupuncture, warm vacuum glass spine treatment and acupuncture with a pulsating current, which I found extremely beneficial for knee pain. There is no known cure for arthritis, but the techniques and treatment used by Mr Burdon definitely eased my pain level to a manageable level and I can thoroughly recommend his practice.

Mr Bardon help my to play rugby with ease again I'm 27 years old and from the age of about 18 maybe 19 I suffered with tremendous shooting pains in both of my shins. I tried many things I was regularly taking pain relief just to play it lead to me stopping football all together. I started back an with a few days of running an training the pain was back in used simple methods like foam roller icing before an after games, I was having regular rub downs an massages but it wouldn't go. I stopped playing football to try rugby. The different physical requirements some how helped an the pain was eased a little but after a few games where I was running a lot more an training g a lot harder the pain was unbelievable to the point my legs would shake uncontrollably because of the pain. I decided to stop playing rugby an the a friend mentioned acupuncture as an option so I searched Google to find a place to go I found a site that would email 5 or 6 acupuncture clinics which was easier than doing it individually I had voice mails and email of different ones an it seemed like they hadn't read my email or taken any interest just plain an blunt hi we've had a email call us. I then revived a voice mail of Mr Bardon help sounded friendly and professional he also mentioned what I had wrote in the email which lend me to believe he had taken the time to read it. He sounded like he really wanted to help me. We arranged an appointment which I arrived half hour late because of traffic. Mr bardon was patient and waited for me to arrive he explained everything he could to me an we got started straight away, he was thourough in his work he make you feel comfortable very easy to talk to felt like ive known him for a long time. He also explain everything he was doin. After the first session I felt a difference which was amazing I believed I could continue to play rugby which was a massive thing for me. I only had to see Mr Bardon 4 time an I can honestly say every time I visited him my pain was easing after every session he would tell me to see how the pain is in a couple of days and he would contact me to see how I was which very comforting to see this man really loves his job an helping people. Currently I am mid way through a very tough an physical pre season in Rugby where running an strength test a major part. I no longer have pains which stop me doing any of these I no longer have to worry that I might have to give up something I love doing because of something which has burdened me for for most of my adult life. This man truly love what he does he is passionate about help people over come pain
