N. M.Be prepared for a long wait if you go 1st thing, was close to about 2 hours to be seen. Reception staff are friendly and the nursing staff are excellent, was seen, x-rayed, given appropriate drugs and dressing and advice on how to care for my wound.
Couldn't ask for any more and the wait is understandable given the strain the service is under.
C. M.The staff are very skilled, kind and quick. 2 surgeons arrived 5 mins after the nurses assessed that surgery was required. The day surgery is arranged in 2 days time.
C. D.I was over today with my son who injured his ankle, I can't praise staff enough. My son was seen by a senior nurse Stuart, who was very knowledgeable and very helpful to my son and I and also one of his colleagues. He was very thorough and then sent my son for x-ray. We didn't wait too long, and it was busy. Great advice 9n after care,explained well. Very grateful and have to say that I think that the new Victoria overall with different depts that I have experienced seems to work. It really is a great service that is available. In consideration to how these professionals are under a lot of pressure it seems to work very well. Thanks again

B.The receptionist was very helpful and considerate and the wait time was relatively short, however the male nurse who saw me was very condescending and made me feel somewhat foolish about my injury and the circumstances of my visit. I understand that he works a stressful and difficult job and must have to deal with a lot of difficult people, and I commend him for that, but it's not an excuse to be unpleasant to a patient simply asking for help. Other than this I was well taken care of.
C. C.Fast, friendly, efficient service from stepping (or hobbling) in the door : ). Receptionist, Nurse & AHP delivered excellent patient care & expertise every step of the way when my fitness instructor flat mate fell during delivering an online fitness class and sprained her ankle. Thank you for taking good care of her & the amazing work you all do especially in such testing times.
