Wow…...don’t hesitate to book. Marie and acupuncture is the real deal, she will from now on be my first port of call. Firstly, I’d like to say a massive thank you to Marie. She and her amazing talent has brought me back for a near career ending sports injury and psychologically for me, a very dark place. I was 18 months into trying to resolve an injury acquired during a climbing accident. Which basically resulted in a bizarre neuropathy, reduced motor function and atrophy of my right hand, arm and shoulder. I’d exhausted every avenue……2 orthopaedic surgeons, one cervical neurosurgeon, 4 physiotherapists, one osteopath, one chiropractor, one specialist hand therapist, a course of magnetic resonance therapy, one neurologist, lots of blood tests and testing and 9 MRI scans – from my head to my hand twice over. Western diagnostic opinions have settled on nerve damage/lesion in my Brachial Plexus or in the Ulnar Nerve in my elbow combined with a partial tear in my beak thumb ligament, Scapholunate ligament wrist damage, partial tear from origin in my elbow MCL and a labral tear in my shoulder. Basically, I’d made a real mess of myself and my injury was extremely complex. My western medical experience was so segregated and at no point had anyone attempted to treat me as a whole person with a whole-body approach to diagnosis, treatment and healing. I hate to say it but I was initially sceptical of acupuncture but at a point of absolute desperation I thought I’ll give this a go. I’d read other reviews on Marie’s website and had noticed this theme of people engaging in acupuncture as a last resort……but with the most amazing results. The same goes for me……. I’ve been humbly educated and quite simply, fixed! From my first session I was totally blown away. Marie was completely honest with me. If she didn’t think she could help she would say so. From the first session, my body instantly responded positively and then Marie told me what I so desperately needed and wanted to hear……In a an extremely professional, calm, reassuring manner she said she could help, it may take a while but most importantly she was so confident and positive. I was sold! My body needed some serious assistance to help fix itself and that’s what Marie and acupuncture did for me. Believe in the process and reap the results. I did and now I’m back to business with a massive spring in my step and with a right arm that’s better than ever. Thanks Marie…..I’ll be forever grateful. Ben

I have been seeing Marie since early January with back pain from a trapped nerve (severe pain), from the first appointment I could feel the improvement and now after only a few weeks the pain has gone. This was my first acupuncture experience and I can only say how positive it has been. As well as curing my pain the whole experience of a visit to Marie is so relaxing and calming. I first began seeing Marie when I was in my third trimester of pregnancy while I was suffering with pregnancy insomnia. Oh, how I wished I had seen her sooner! My symptoms eased after the first session and Marie also treated other pregnancy symptoms, I was suffering with including; water retention and swollen ankles. I never ever suffered with swollen ankles again! I was initially very nervous at my first session as I do not like needles but as soon as Marie opened the door, I knew I was in safe hands! She completely put me at ease. Marie really took her time to speak with me about my concerns and anxiety around pregnancy and I felt so much better after every treatment. I regularly saw Marie right up until my son was born and I feel that the regular treatments I had played a huge part in me feeling so well and active during those last few weeks. The post birth treatments were amazing and just what I needed when I was feeling sleep deprived and exhausted. I continue to have treatments when I am not feeling 100% and they pick me up straight away! I would recommend Marie to anyone. Thank you, Marie!

I have been visiting Marie for a few weeks now with sciatica pain from a Herniated disk. I have visited chiropractors physiotherapists and osteopaths and two years on was at my tethers end. Not a fan of needles acupuncture was a last resort. Marie made quite a bold claim and said she could get rid of that pain. Quite simply she has done that. I’m more than happy to leave a review for Marie. Life had been difficult since early 2018 when we had a family illness which then unfortunately became a bereavement – it took a lot out of me both physically, mentally and emotionally. On top of this I then had a nagging shoulder injury which left me with constant pain and feeling that my movement would never be the same. I’d visited my GP, had Physio, tried strengthening exercises and was having to take pain killers to help with my shoulder. I found Marie on our local village FB page and thought “its worth giving a go” as nothing else seemed to be working with my shoulder. Right from my first session with Marie I started to feel better. She not only helped with my shoulder but my general take on life. Being an Engineer I’m always inquisitive on how things work – can I explain how Marie has helped – I can’t explain the science behind it but what I can say that she has made a dramatic difference to my life as I currently have no shoulder pain and physically, mentally and emotionally I feel back on top of my game, I have so much more energy and I can only put it down to Marie’s knowledge and care. Would I recommend Marie – absolutely – as I said to her this morning I feel like I’ve had a CTRL/ALT/DELETE Reboot on life! 😊

I think I am beginning to loose count how many times I’ve called Marie asking for a rescue. First time - out of desperation as pulled my back muscle and couldn’t move. It was fascinating to feel how with every needle the pain was disappearing. I have since used accupuncture for both acute trauma moments ( torn knee ligament / pain) as well as general wellness. My Renaud's symptoms have improved so is general muscle tension/ menopause symptoms. Marie has got an amazing knowledge where the needles need to go to address the symptoms you report. And by the way - you might find that the ones you haven’t reported will improve too ))) separate thank you for helping me out yesterday - my knee was so stiff and this morning there is not a sign, feel fully functional again.

Marie was recommended to me by another therapist in relation to managing hormones. I had never experienced accupuncture before and wasn't a fan of the idea of small needles in my body but something about the ancient practice drew me in and I went along to see Marie. At the time, I was quite stressed and hormonal with various things going on that were probably making my digestion and autoimmune condition worse. Marie immediately put me at ease and whilst some of the treatment is a felt experience (it can hurt a bit!), I felt more alert, calm and in touch with my surroundings after the first treatment. I haven't looked back and see Marie every couple of weeks. I would attend more often if I could! She has shown me how this unusual approach can deal with pain, balance hormones, settle the digestion and she knows a thing or two about diet, too! I feel in safe hands with Marie and would highly recommend her to anyone wanting some support with any health issue. She's very knowledgeable and will look up the best treatment - translating the Western name or description into a Chinese medicine approach. If you are in any doubt, give it a go and you won't look back either!

Due to a sudden severe pain in my back which made any movement or climbing stairs extremely painful. I was recommended by a neighbour to visit Marie. Marie has a lovely calming nature & very knowledgeable in her craft. I was amazed how the pain started to ease & the movement in my legs became more mobile during the course of treatments. It is very important that you follow Marie's instructions, i.e. drink lots of water after a treatment to flush out toxins. I would highly recommend Marie. Whatever your problem, give her a ring & talk it through.
