I have taken my elderly mother here twice for ear syringing and on both occasions have received excellent care. Everything was explained to her well and all her many questions answered. The audiologist is so caring and professional and doesn't rush anything but takes his time to explain what he's doing. My mother won't go anywhere else now. I myself have attended this clinic too and also received the same level of care. I can't recommend them highly enough. Must also give praise to the absolutely wonderful receptionist whom I've spoken to on a few occasions regarding getting my mother an appointment. She is extremely caring and does her absolute best to give you the appointment you want.

I've suffered with hearing loss due to massive build up of wax for some time. I rang LAC for assistance and was given an appointment the following day. I had both microsuction and irrigation due to the large amount of wax blocking my ears. Andrew, who carried out the procedure, explained everything in detail and told me what he was going to do before he did it. The procedure was painless and was expertly done. Andrew was wonderful, very friendly and very professional. He also gave advice on what to do to try and avoid this recurring. The receptionist was also friendly and helpful. I cannot praise this clinic enough and would recommend it to anyone having issues with their hearing. 10 out of 10! I can now hear clearly for the first time in a long while.

Amazing and professional! When booking the appointment via email they replied quickly and the clinic was closed so took time out of their free time to book me in. I phoned LAC in the morning as I was totally deaf in 1 ear. I was very happy to get an appointment on the same day. I cannot recommend this company enough - from the initial phone enquiry, right through to the consultation, treatment and successful discharge. They are professional whilst being incredibly caring. Near total loss of hearing (LHS) due to buildup of wax - left far too long before seeking help; got appointment within 24 hours. Andrew Jackson rose to the challenge and removed a large quantity of impacted wax against the eardrum. Double sessions of suction and irrigation sorted the problem with minimal discomfort. I attended for a checkup as it had been a while since my last one. The staff were friendly, professional, knowledgeable and especially well prepared and considerate of the current pandemic situation by taking all the necessary precautions for social distancing and hygiene. All staff wore full PPE. The technology even allowed for me to see what the condition of my ear canal, which was viewable via a live camera image displayed on a monitor. As I t was, I had no issue and therefore had the price for my appointment reduced proportionately. I was thoroughly impressed with the service I received and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone else looking for microsuction ear was removal or just a general checkup. I will definitely go again! Excellent service and polite, understanding and expert staff. Receptionist was very helpful and the Audiologist knew his stuff really well and has some really flash gear. I had my ears cleaned out without the usual 2 weeks of bunging olive oil in them (thereby making myself even more deaf) and the micro suction method is far less uncomforatble than the syringing - far less brutal. I was in a hurry as I require good hearing for my job in pro audio and was seen and treated pronto. Reasonable prices and top notch service. Highly recommended.

Went to the clinic today as I've been suffering from Tinnitus for the past couple of weeks and believed this to be a wax build-up. Met with Andrew who was extremely courteous, knowledgeable from the outset and explained, with the aid of his camera, that there was indeed a build up and that would most likely be the root of my distress. After a brief consultation, we agreed that water irrigation was the best method of extraction and within 10 minutes the job was done and (touch wood) the pesky ringing has subsided. Cannot recommend this clinic highly enough. Thoroughly professional and happy to answer any questions from this particularly anxious soul! Will most certainly be booking an appointment to come back for a check up in a few months. Would also point out that they are running a very tight ship with regards to cleanliness in light of the current crisis. My mind was eased prior and upon arrival that the clinic had been kept to the highest standards in order to safeguard staff and clients alike.

It enabled me to consider the option of hearing aids (no hard sell at all). What and excellent service. The traditional route for serious hard ear wax would be along the lines of - two weeks to see my GP, a further two to three weeks wait for the nurse to syringe my ear - probably a failed ear syringe leading to a few months to wait to see a consultant and then no doubt a further wait for micro-suction. Andrew saw me within a 48 hours, used the gold standard micro-suction to fix the problem, did the other ear just to be on the safe side, and then sent a very happy patient on his way. 10/10

I was fortunate enough to be supplied with the latest in hearing technology care of the armed forces, I was contacted by Andrew from LAC who came out to see me with regards setting up and fitting the Starkey Livio Edge AI hearing aids some 6 months ago. They are amazing and have changed my life, they’re not just hearing aids they also help manage my day to day fitness measuring my exercise regimen during lockdown i e. How many miles I’ve walked, interaction with other people, my brain use and many other things. Andrew & his assistant Emily couldn’t do enough to help me with my initial getting my head round the multitude of things my hearing aids can do, like telling me when to take my tablets & many other notifications like appointments & such. My dad lost his hearing in one ear when he was younger through an accident. This has caused him to be very protective of his other 'working' ear which has unfortunately started to degrade due to work related noise damage and age. I spoke with Emily at LAC and she was very helpful and gave me confidence that they would be able to provide help with my dads hearing. My dad was hesitant at first but after we'd had our first appointment that was eased. Andy was extremely informative about how everything worked and could also sympathies with my dads reluctance to using a hearing aid. I think that was a big factor in my dad accepting the trial. Andrew explained everything thoroughly, was considerate and made the whole experience painless and most importantly dealt with my hearing problem efficiently, with care and faster than when I'd been to my GP surgery. I've been putting off doing this thinking syringing would work, Andrew explained that the wax was so embedded on my drum that syringing would have been painful and unlikely to have shifted it. Seriously, do it because I wish I had sooner. Andrew was so professional, I'm taking my family along to get their ears seen to as well!

Andrew was very kind and understanding. I had a very negative experience at a very well known high street chemist in Huddersfield at the end of July trying to get my ears cleared. Andrew was the polar opposite and managed to syringe my ears using the water irrigation, as they were difficult to do. He made the whole experience as pleasant as it could have been. The clinic is spotless and his daughter on reception was equally as pleasant. It’s taken me about 4 months to finally be able to hear again, all thanks to Andrew Being able to see inside my ears on the screen was also helpful. Wow - just Wow. How good an experience was that!! I've suffered most of my adult life with wax build up and then removal. Spent many hours using wax loosening treatments (mainly olive oil) and then off to the Doctors/Nurses for syringing or more recently irrigation removal. Apparently this is now "treatment non grata" at Surgeries so difficult to arrange. This time it was my wife who had a problem and had spent weeks using olive oil with little improvement at all. After weeks of this we got lucky. A friend of a friend (really!) made us aware of LAC so a quick call and it was arranged. Greeted on arrival by the Manager Emily, who it turns out we already knew, 1 bit of paperwork and in to see Andrew. Had all the time in the world it seemed. Nothing was too much trouble and we were treated (quite willingly) to the anatomical guide followed by the CCTV view of her ears and the problem wax. We are both of the non squeamish type so thoroughly enjoyed this view (and you know it really has all been removed). (Andrew had some light background music playing which I could hear but my wife could not until he suddenly removed all of her wax). After she was done I had Andrew check my ears and both were on the edge of closing up after all, so they were done as well. Totally painless and both done and dusted in beautiful surroundings in less than 15 minutes. A very enjoyable experience, which I won't hesitate to repeat if required, and all done by such capable professionals. Thank you and Well Done Andrew and Emily

I went here after a failed attempt at Bupa. My ear was completely blocked and causing me a lot of pain. I rang the audiology clinic and there closest appointment available was a few days away, I however explained my problem and they took my number to call me back if a cancellation became available. Within the hour I had a call back and they fitted me in the same day. When I arrived I was greeted by a lovely lady who took my details then the audiologist came to get me. He tried to suction my ear and to my surprise there was no pain. At Bupa I had terrible pain. He couldn't get it out via this method so he then used water and it came out after a few pumps. My hearing has returned to normal and finally I am pain free. I would 100% recommend and I will return here if I ever need this service again.

Other than my GP I have only ever previously used the 2020 Hearing Centre on Dixon Lane Leeds 12. I had a poor experience there and would certainly not recommend them. LAC provide a very professional and courteous service. And Emily on reception is so pleasant and polite. I visited LAC on 23 June 2023 and the service, as always was excellent. Andrew is courteous and fully explains everything and Emily is also very pleasant. I have been a number of times and I would not go anywhere else. Highly recommended.

I was shown a live screening of my ear canal which highlighted the problem and they helped clear my ear quickly and painlessly. Cannot praise this clinic enough. I suffer from blocked ears and have to visit every year for them to be irrigated or "hoovered" as I call it. The procedure itself is carried out very professionally and the patient is kept informed of the process throughout the duration. Interestingly the camera inserted in the ear shows before and after, the resulting pictures are astounding. The suction process is not the most comfortable feeling but is painless and the results far outweigh a couple if minutes very mild discomfort. As my ears are blocking up more regularly these days I may diarise a visit on a 6 monthly basis. I can highly recommend LAC for any ear or hearing issues.
