A. K.Having been with this surgery for years I have never had any problems. The doctors and nurses go above and beyond whenever I've had any problems. The econsult is a godsend and they reply very quickly. The receptionists have a difficult job to do so with a little patience and kindness they are able to get you to the right person. They have been very professional and couteous when dealing with me. Please remember surgeries are a lifeline for us all and please be kind and patient at this difficult time as they are human as well.

W. F.I can't believe anyone would negatively rate this practice. Having lived in many locations in the past decade I am always impressed by the service I receive and caring friendly nature of the staff, compared with precious GPs I have used. That is even during the extremely challenging times of the pandemic. Thank you.
P. D.Thank goodness for the actions of Dr Cowie. I called 111 as my husband was writhing in pain, vomiting and had a temperature. An automated voice at 111 said if it was an emergency to dial 999. I did dial 999 and the telephone operator, point blank refused to send me an ambulance, stating ‘are you telling me that a pain in the stomach is an emergency?’
I couldn’t get any help and as a last resort I phoned the GP. The receptionist was great and then within minutes Dr Cowie phoned me. Within 5 minutes Dr Cowie came to my home and after examining my husband he arranged for us to go to the surgical ward at the hospital, cutting out a visit to A&E!
Dr Cowie was amazing with his care and he actually saved my husbands life with his fast response. After emergency surgery the surgeon at the hospital telephoned me. He said my husband had a twisted bowel and he told me 15 more minutes and the bowel would most likely have ruptured.
My family and I would sincerely like to say a massive thank you to Dr Cowie. He was wonderful. Also many thanks to the receptionist at the surgery. We are very grateful.

G. B.Well run practice. Organised, decent parking available, good doctors (esp. Dr halligan), pleasant waiting room. Only 4 out of 5 because of NHS problems rather than problems with this practice (eg appointment availability, possibly late being seen because doctors try to do a good job and so sometimes overrun)
A. D.When you can get into see a doctor the doctors are good but try to make an appointment especially over the phone is a nightmare.
It has just taken me an hour to get through started phoning at 8am and it was 9am before I got to speak to a receptionist.
Please improve your phone service.
