Unfortunately I had to attend today with a busted ankle and the care of the staff from reception through to nurses was brilliant. It was so efficient - I was seen straight away by a super friendly nurse, then x-rayed, a boot fitted by another friendly nurse and in the car on the way home within an hour - Can not fault this place

Don't just turn up right now: call them from home. They will take your details and triage you, then a medical practitioner will call you back. I waited about three hours for a callback, they asked me to take some photos of my injury, and then they gave me an appointment to come in for treatment the same day. The NHS staff here are working incredibly hard to cope with the high demand in a safe way. From first contact to treatment took about four hours for me, comparable with A&E, but I got to spend my waiting time relaxing at home - and when I did attend, I was seen immediately by a nurse practitioner who was expecting me.

Just attended here with my Dad, excellent care and attention from first phone call, to leaving the Centre. My Dad has said he felt looked after by all the team. Thank you so much for your care this evening (22/05/22)

This is an extremely busy centre. It uses a call back system, so always phone first. The level of care and expertise is exceptional. Complimented by a desire to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Many thanks to a very impressive team of dedicated staff.
Regards...Dave.

Was sent to St George's for treatment for my father and found a friendly helpful and efficient team waiting for us, will always be grateful for the care they gave my dad

I came to St George’s Medical Centre a week ago after being sent there by 111. I can’t thank the wonderful team who took care of me enough! A fantastic staff team, who made me comfortable and at ease. I was taken care of by a nurse who I think was called Hazel, and she was an absolute star! A kind and compassionate person with a great sense of humour. The whole process was extremely efficient. Thank you thank you thank you!

Phoned to enquire about walk-in service but that hadn't been in place since Covid started. Lovely lady said she'd arrange for a phone call consultation within 2 hours to arrange an appointment. Sorted ✔

Excellent service. From my initial phone call, it took less than 3 hours to have a return telephone call from the unit, then getting an appointment and being seen, having an xray and then diagnosis with plan for further treatment. Fantastic.....Thankyou so much.

Arrived but sign on the door said to call cause of Covid & got a call back from a Nurse in literally 5 minutes to come in. Temperature check & was taken straight to a treatment room and was sorted. Super friendly & professional staff, whole thing was about 20 minutes, beyond happy with the service provided.

Fantastic service, no waiting in A &E, telephone triage, consultation appointment booked. An hour after arriving was heading back home after having my fractured ankle treated.

I visited st George's Monday night as I stupidly cut my finger cooking, I phoned the reception as due to covid the walk in is suspended got straight through and was seen within mins which is brilliant. The nurses were excellent and treated my finger with so much humour I forgot I had an injury. So thanks S&W keep up the great work 👏 👍.

I visited the centre on 22 September 2021 and was seen by Mr Mahmood.
His professional approach was much appreciated and the attention to my wound was first class resulting in a most satisfactory conclusion.

This place is spotless, the staff are friendly, massive shout out to nurse Hazel.
Went Yesterday 1st thing (8am) and was 4th in line. Triage at just after 8.30 - suspected stress fracture in metatarsal.
Notified at 9.15 that there was a problem with the X-ray machine.
X-Ray at 10.15 but still a problem with X-Ray images - waited till 12 noon and had to go, so checked out and said I would return another day...
Phone call first thing this morning from Nurse Hazel who said they had managed to get the images and said I could come back and get treatment (Beckham Boot) immediately for stress fracture in metatarsal. In and out within 15 minutes.
I note there are some bad comments on here, but even though our wait was horrendous through no fault of the staff everything turned out OK in the end.
Only suggestion for improvement would be a few more announcements about what was happening, say update every half hour or fifteen minutes, then people can decide whether to continue to wait.
I would say to the people who have put really negative comments on here that they should understand that our NHS is continually underfunded and these people work damn hard and believe it or not sometimes things go wrong and people cannot provide the service as advertised.
Above all and with the limitations of the machines I am well impressed.

I'm confused why St Georges has such a low rating.
We waited over an hour before we were seen, xrayed done and dusted in 2 hours.
If we'd have attended A&E on a Saturday evening it would have been at least 3 + hours and a fortune in parking.
All the staff were lovely, in my opinion we don't realise what we have until its gone.
Thank you to the lovely staff at St Georges

Just got back from St. George's minor injuries. My daughter's facial wound is dressed, and we have been given the appropriate medication. In and out in 30 minutes. Lovely friendly staff. This is the first time I have reviewed but my family always receive a 5 star service. Thanks again, it's so reassuring to know you are there.

Took my 2yr old granddaughter as she wasn't very well. Just as we pulled into the car park she vomited all over herself, I ran in and asked if there was anything they could give me to clean her up. I expected some paper towels or something but two nurses rushed round giving me absorbent sheets, wipes for her, wipes for the car, sick bowls and even a rubbish sack.
Our little one was seen very quickly by a doctor who didn't turn a hair at having to examine a vomit-covered baby.
A huge, huge thank you to those lovely nurses and the doctor, can't say enough about how grateful we are.

Wonderful service! All the staff there who we met were very kind and helpful, felt very safe with the covid restrictions in place .

Went before Xmas, nurse was very helpful :) they can't issue prescriptions though which would have been good to know beforehand, 111 made it sound like it was for all gp type services.

I visited your Leeds Middleton Centre on Saturday Afternoon 12th September i asked a lovely lady called Angela, she came across extremely professional & more to the point she was so helpful, i had just caught her before she went for her lunch but this didn't deter her in giving me her 100% attention and i just wanted to make you aware especially with whats going on in the world she made sure i understand what i needed to do to get the attention i needed , please pass on my warm thanks and gratitude to her, She was called Angela .

I am 70 years old and a couple of days ago I fell and broke my leg as well as tearing my ankle ligaments. The staff are professional and friendly and the whole process was alot quicker than going and waiting in A and E. Not that I would want to test the system again but I felt like I was also relieving the pressure that there is on the main hospitals at the moment .

I have mixed reviews about this centre most of the staff are very nice and friendly but there is the odd one that is not . I have had good service and very bad service from this place but it is always busy and I think the staff need more training. I took my daughter there after a fall down some stairs as her foot swelled and she couldn't walk ( after the school called me ) and they xrayed it and said it was just a sprain , unsatisfied with the pain she was in I went to A&E and she had broken her foot in two places .

Second time been there and cannot say anything negative about this place. Very busy but staff is managing to tackle everything accordingly. Quick and easy, without wasting of time but also without feeling that you are rushed. If you got a decision to make to go to A&E or here, try here first! Believe me!

Had the need to attend with my husband and daughter on the same evening and they were very friendly and helpful. Such a rarity these days when you go to the wrong place without an appointment and they still saw them both and helped.

Parking if it’s not busy. Easy access for disabled. Toilets drinks and sweet machine, can be long waiting. Lovely meeting rooms with lift to 2nd floor.

Attended here on Friday night. Away from home so got an appointment to attend here via 111 consultation. Minimal waiting, very friendly effective service. N.H.S. working well. You deserve 5 stars. Thank you.

Brilliant Doctor, diagnosis was quick, treatment sorted, all in 10 minutes. Superb

I had to wait form nearly two hours, but when I was seen, the nurse was very friendly and asked me questions about my health prescribed a suitable medicine.

Really good, helpful professionals working hard in the current circumstances.

Using the correct NHS services is always a better solution than heading to A&E - no queues on a Saturday night for non-alcohol related injuries is a godsend.
A. J.
I didn't have to wait long and the lady I saw was super friendly. I was in and out in just 15 minutes.

Second visit today, all staff we encountered were friendly and efficient, we hardly had to wait at all, overall an excellent service, couldn't fault it
