I had my Hair transplant in Feb 2021 ,got great results post transplant it looks good . I chose this place after a lot of research and reading multiple reviews.I definitely recommend this place. Place is clean , staff are polite and friendly , Dr Arshad has high standards and he will make sure results are far better than your expectations , he has high standards and strives for perfection. Surgery is a tiny bit painful with multiple local anaesthetic injections but Dr Arshad is gentle. He is friendly , approachable and makes sure everything is done perfectly. I had follow ups and advise on how I can get the best out of my surgery post transplant. Good luck and best wishes on your hair transplant journey.

I cannot fault the Hair Dr team. The whole process has been spot on from initial consultation with Sommiya to the day of the procedure and now the aftercare. I was greeted on the day by Adam who I spent a good half an hour talking with, he was very good at making me feel at ease and outlined how the day would progress. During the procedure, Dr Arshad and the team of Technicians made me feel comfortable the whole way through. The anaesthetic injections were the most unpleasant part but after a few minutes you can barely feel a thing making the rest of the procedure nice and easy. Lunch was provided which was great and you are offered regular breaks for drinks and snacks which were also provided. At the end of the day you are given your post op medication to be taken for the next 7 days and a chart that tells you exactly what and when to take so you can’t go wrong. 7 days after the procedure now and everything seems to be going as expected, I am really looking forward to the months ahead and seeing how things progress. I can’t thank the team enough for the work they have done and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending to people in the future!

I'm currently 8 days post surgery and just want to say massive thank you to everyone at The Hair Dr. From initially being greeted by Adam (top lad), to meeting the main man Dr Arshad and team of friendly technicians, I was immediately made to feel at ease and that I was in safe hands. The day itself was made as comfortable as possible, with breaks and lunch provided. I've been virtually pain free post procedure and the wall chart/aftercare package provided helps keep things simple and is a nice way to keep on track of your progress. Any questions I've had have been answered instantly and it's reassuring to know you won't be forgotten about. I'm really happy with how my new hairline is looking and I can't wait to see the end results. I have been so impressed by everything from day 1 of being in contact with The Hair Dr. Sommiya was so helpful and patient while I was deciding whether to go ahead with treatment and never took long to respond to any of my questions. Offering a free consultation is brilliant and I really appreciated Sommiya's willingness to speak with me on multiple occasions as I had more questions. I never felt any pressure to go ahead and was advised multiple times to do my research, take time to think about it and have other consultations. Sommiya was also honest from day 1 and explained that there was no guarantee that this would work due to my circumstances - this is so important and much better than someone promising you the earth and then being so disappointed when it doesn't work - it means you can make a fully informed decision. On the day of the procedure (28th Feb) I was looked after most of the day by Daisy who was great and again, really patient with me when I had to stop a couple of times. Dr Arshad was fantastic and he had a really calming presence and was chatty throughout the procedure which makes you feel less on edge. Everyone was really professional and knowledgeable and I was really impressed with everything. I did lots of research before deciding where to have my procedure and I'm so glad I found the Hair Dr and Dr Arshad. So I’d been looking at having this procedure done for about 6 months. My hair wasn’t drastically bad however mild recession at the temples just meant I couldn’t really style my hair the way I used to. I did speak to a few clinics and went to a consultation with another clinic, however, upon discovering and contacting the Hair Dr team I knew this was the place for me to have the procedure. They were very welcoming and informative in the initial telephone consultation and made everything very easy for me in terms of actually booking the procedure. Onto the actual day itself - I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous however the whole team do a great job of making you feel welcome and relaxed. In terms of the actual procedure - as most people would say the numbing part ( anesthetic) is not pleasant. That being said once you’ve passed this stage the rest of the procedure is virtually pain free; the first stage where the extractions from the donor area takes place is slightly uncomfortable lying face down in a kind of like massage chair however this is the only gripe, with the actual implantation of the follicles in the second part of the session fairly relaxing - I even had Netflix on in the background. You are also offered snacks throughout the day as well as a complimentary lunch. It’s been 23 days since my procedure and my donor area has healed with only a slight tinge of red showing which I’d imagine will fade eventually. The grafts at the front are now fully in the shedding phase and I’m looking forward to seeing these grow over the following months, patience will be key. One positive as I kept my hair long for the procedure I can go out now with my hair flat and nobody can notice it’s even been done. I give the Hair Dr a 5 star review because I truly believe it to be a 5 star experience. Anyone considering this procedure I would 100% recommend the Hair Dr. In terms of the recovery a few weeks of down time will be well worth it in the long run if you are, as I was, suffering with confidence issues with your hair.

Day 3 of my FUE transplant, have had no pain and little swelling due to the medication provided by the Hair Dr. I found the procedure to be a first class experience, with an easy, calm process to the entire day. Also, the staff were really friendly and took great care of me. Incredible experience. For someone who was quite nervous for the procedure, i was made to feel as comfortable as possible from start to finish! Every member of staff at the clinic was friendly and courteous and makes for a great experience! I had my procedure 2 weeks ago at The Hair Dr Clinic. The initial consultation was easy and professional and an agreed date of 7th October for 2000 grafts was scheduled. I asked if there were any earlier dates available and within the next day was informed that I could change my date to 24th September, which I agreed to. From walking through the door on the day of the procedure I was met by Adam who was really friendly and put me at ease as he talked me through what would happen on the day. From there I met Dr Arshad who took a look at my hair and took some photos for the before shots. On reviewing the photos we decided that 3000 grafts would give a better result and decided to go for that. From there I was taken to a room to change into a gown and had my head shaved ready for the procedure. The procedure itself went really well and a lot better than expected. I do think the build up to having a hair transplant is a lot worse than actually having the procedure done. There was no pain during the procedure except for the anaesthetic, which was bearable. Once the grafts had been harvested from my doner area I was then taken to have lunch which was provided and spent the time with Adam again who was very friendly with me. After lunch I was then taken back to the treatment room to have my grafts put into my recipient area. Again there was no pain except for the anaesthetic. The technicians were both chatty and professional which made the time go by a lot quicker. At the end of the procedure I was then looked after by Sommiya who again is very nice and friendly and given my aftercare pack and instructions. I can honestly say that the after care alone is a big plus for getting the procedure done here. They provided everything I needed and are always there at the end of the phone to help with any questions that I have had after the procedure. As it is only 2 weeks after my hair transplant, I am still waiting for the results to come through, but I already can see that my hairline is better than it was, and I am really happy with the way it has healed up. If you are looking for a professional, well run and friendly place to start your hair transplant journey then I cannot recommend The Hair Dr Clinic enough.

I had carried out a lot of research prior to my procedure, especially into the doctors expertise and experience of each clinic I was considering. Dr. Arshad stood out as by far the most qualified and experienced in every aspect. 8 months on I could not be more happy with the results and aftercare.

I had my procedure today and it has been an amazing experience i could not fault the team one bit. Once i arrived i spoke to Dr Arshad about my procedure and what it was going to entail. We drew out the hairline and took some pictures and discussed how it would be filled for the best results. After this i agreed to have my hair removed and went in to start the procedure. All the staff and equipment were very clean and everything was washed and done to a very professional level. I was given local anaesthetic to numb the donor area once this was done i could not feel a thing being done to my hair, it was completely painless. This took a few hours to complete from around 9am to 12pm. After this i was given a lunch of my choice supplied by the clinic. After lunch we continued with the procedure and putting the donor folicals in the front of the head. This took around 1pm throuh to 4pm, again once my head was numbed i felt nothing. Once my preocedure was over i was sent a video of Dr Arshad explaining how the after care works and what i would be given in my pack. On top of this i also had a meeting after to ask any questions and have a look at my after care kit. I was also given a number i could contact the team on if i had any questions. All together i would say it was an amazing experience and i would recommend anyone thinking about hair treatment to contact, the team are extremely helpful and the procedure was unbelievably smooth

Like many others i was nervous and very apprehensive about having the procedure. However, right from the inital consultation i was put at ease by the staff and decided to take the leap. In terms of the day itself, it was much easier and more comfortable than i imagined it to be. Adam on reception was brilliant with explaining everything to me about the day itself while answering any of my queries. The Dr. himself was very informative and reassuring, as were the rest of his team. The procedure itself was slightly painful at first (anaesthetic), but the rest was pretty smooth sailing. I had regular breaks and lots of brews (winner for me!!), and was provided with lunch. Day 3 post op and scarring looks barely noticeable! Still some redness which i imagine will fade in the coming weeks. Absolutely no complaints, would highly recommend to anyone who is debating going forward with the procedure. 5/5 stars

I’m 4 days post procedure and I have to say I’ve been nothing but happy with my experience so far. Day of procedure: The nerves I had prior to heading into the clinic were all put to ease after I was greeted at reception by Adam, who had been on hand to answer all my general queries and questions prior to my consultation and procedure. Both surgeons Dr Arshad and Dr Hamza were friendly and helped advise / work out what would be the best approach for me based on what I wanted combined with their expertise. The process of extraction by Dr Hamza and the technicians was (in my opinion) painless and I could’ve genuinely fallen asleep throughout the morning, as that’s how relaxed I was made to feel. I was checked up on consistently throughout the day to make sure I was okay, and received complementary snacks, lunch and drinks to keep energy high. After lunch, Dr Arshad carried out the process of creating the channels, taking the time and care to match the direction of existing hair to get the most natural look (again in my opinion painless). The hair grafts were then implanted by a skilled and friendly team of technicians, again who all took their time to make sure I was alright through the day, and made to feel very much at ease. Post op: I have been provided with all the necessary items needed for post op recovery, so everything was taken care of, removing any stress about needing to go to the shops or pharmacy especially during the lockdown. I have received follow up communication via whatsapp - which for me personally is an amazing level of service, the fact that the surgery are on hand and willing to answer any questions when needed is incredible and very calming to know they’re there for you throughout this whole journey. I’m now just excited for what is yet to come. And I would totally recommend the team at the Hair Dr.

From the moment I called to ask for advise, the day I arrived for my hair transplant, organising my hotel stay after my procedure and the aftercare I have received the whole experience has been made so easy! I underwent FUE surgery on 22/02/2021, under Dr Arshad, for a total of 3000 grafts. I think the best way to review my experience is to cover it in three separate parts, the surgeon, the Hair Dr as a business & my experience on the day + aftercare. The surgeon: Dr Arshad FRCS - a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. All you need to know is that achieving this level of competency puts Dr Arshad in the premier league of UK(and beyond) surgeons & demonstrates just how committed & experienced he is as a surgeon in his area of speciality. What more could you want from the person in charge of your surgery? To support that, I found Dr Arshad to have a very good bedside manner. Honest, direct & realistic. The 3 key things you need from any medical professional in charge of your care. The Hair Dr: This has to be one of the most thoroughly run & efficient medical centres in the UK. Their passion for continuous improvement & patient care is evident & every single member of staff is highly skilled, personable, helpful and I honestly couldn't fault them. The cost model is transparent - £3 a graft. This is fair & more than justified in the service you receive from this clinic. I wasn't pressured in to any decision from start to finish & there's no pushy sales pitches along the way either. My experience on the day: Seamless! For the amount of grafts I had, a long day was to be expected (about 11 hours.) I was comfortable throughout, lunch was provided (basically whatever you want), I could play the radio / TV & all staff were friendly & supportive. I am seriously struggling to suggest any way for the patient experience to be improved. I won't go on about the order of procedure as that's clear in other reviews. Just know you'll be accommodated for every step of the way & cared for as an individual not just another client. The patient aftercare is comprehensive and you feel just as important after your surgery as you did in the lead up to it. In summary: If you live close to the Hair Dr & you're looking for a hair transplant then you're very very lucky. If you don't then it's worth travelling here for! I've no doubt this clinic will continue to lead by example & go from strength to strength. I genuinely can't thank everyone at the Hair Dr enough I am already thrilled with how the result is looking. First of all I want to thank Dr Arshad and his team for the best experience I could of asked for. I had my hair transplant on Wednesday the 23rd of September and after 2 days of reflection and dealing with the after care I can't honestly recommend The Hair Dr Clinic enough. I wouldn't say I was nervous but boy did they make me feel comfortable. Form the moment you walk in, Adam the office manager is one of the nicest guys and makes any worry you could possibly have go away. After considering a procedure on and off for the last few years, i finally had my procedure with the The Hair Dr two weeks ago. I'd done plenty of research on different clinics but it was the openness of the staff and surgeon, Dr. Arshad that convinced me to go with them. You need to feel that the people that are handling something that can be a huge personal issue for most men are going make you feel confident and comfortable, and the team at The Hair Dr did just that, and I can't recommend them enough. It was a long day (start time at 7am), but from the moment I arrived at the clinic the team made sure I was looked after in every way. From the consultation to the procedure itself, which was mostly painless, apart from a slight sting with the first round of injections. The clinic provided lunch at midday, then it was back into round two for the insertions of the grafts. I spent the afternoon watching Netflix while the team got on with the work. It was a long day, but totally worth it, and I couldn't be happier with the recovery process so far.

Had my surgery one month ago. From the initial consultation right through to the after care I was very pleased with how professional and friendly the hair dr clinic have been. I had my initial consultation with Somayah, and what drew me to this clinic was how passionate she was and realistic about what I could achieve. It wasn't like other consultations which felt like sales pitches! On the day of the surgery Dr Arshad talked me through what I should expect and again was very realistic about what I could achieve and was very professional. The whole team (Dr Arshad, Adam, Dr Hamza, all the technician's) were really friendly throughout the day and kept me at ease, and the service was simply amazing and they were all very experienced and knowledgeable about what they do. I was pain free the whole day apart from the slight pain of the initial anesthesia which is totally normal. And even in the days following the surgery I was totally pain free thanks to the amazing after care package supplied by the clinic. I am now looking forward to the months ahead, and the after care has been second to none. They answer my questions and queries straight away and are in constant contact with me as the weeks go by. I just had my procedure with the Hair Dr on Saturday. I will be posting another review in 12 months time when I should see the final results. I’ve got nothing bad to say about my experience up to now. From the very first contact I had with the clinic, they’ve been brilliant. It was my 4th consultation with a HT clinic (2 in the UK and 2 in Turkey) and the Hair Dr stood out a mile. I didn’t feel pressured at all by either Dr Arshad or his staff (Practice and clinic managers Sommiya and Julia) before, during and after having the consultation. Coinciding with seeing really good reviews, good results and how personable Dr Arshad was, I decided this was the right clinic to go to. On the day of the procedure, I was really well taken care of and put at ease by Dr Arshad. His technicians were also brilliant (Charlotte and Amina), everybody in the clinic was very progressional and always checked in with me throughout the day to make sure I was ok. The after care has also been very informative, where you’re given a pack of meds and timetable planner to guide all you need to do post procedure. Overall a brilliant experience. I was looking into going abroad for my Hair Transplant until I stumbled along the Hair Dr. I went on there website and WhatsApp’d them to get a quote and ask for advice. They reply within minutes and are so helpful. I then had a video consultation and eventually booked a date for the surgery. Went for my hair transplant/repair job at the hair dr clinic yesterday and I can’t speak highly enough of them. After having a failed attempt in turkey a few years previous I was looking to try and put things right in England. After viewing clinics on line and read reviews I came across the hair dr. With all the 5 star reviews and kind words from previous patients I knew this was the clinic for me . From the minute I arrived I received a warm welcome, explained how the day was gonna go, what to expect , breaks we would be having . Next was a press assessment with dr rashes who reviewed my previous transplant turkey, telling me straight up it was far from a good job.( if your thinking in the back of your mind should I go abroad -JUST DONT) we spoke about expectations v reality which was very reassuring as he’s straight to the point and doesn’t sell you a dream. He told me what was possible under the circumstances and I was very happy with that . After the chat it was time to get the transplanted started, the hair dr (sommiya) gave me all the anesthetic and pre transplant work. She was very calming and always talking making sure I was at ease the whole time. I can’t recommend the staff and clinic highly enough. I underwent a very positive experience during my FUE hair transplant at The Hair Dr and, for that, I’d like to give my heartfelt thanks to Dr Arshad, Sommiya, Adam and technicians Nasreen, Abbie, Katie, Daisy and Laura. Through a combination of the highest-level surgical expertise and talent, comprehensive aftercare and realistic expectation-setting, they have helped me come away from this procedure feeling hopeful about my hair and future appearance for the first time in nearly a decade. The initial phone conversations with Sommiya, the very informed and reassuring practice manager, confirmed to me why they were an obvious choice for a hair transplant: - There are no pushy sales tactics and they were very clear that I shouldn’t proceed with anything if I wasn’t entirely sure. - There are no seasonal special offers, just a very straightforward £3 per graft for FUE which is displayed clearly on their website. They are very obviously not in need of clients and they can quite clearly generate business through their results alone and not through some financial incentive that preys on our desire for a quick fix, leaving us vulnerable to poor decision-making. - They’re not afraid to give you the hard facts, such as the following which I’ve come to accept after seeing many times on this forum: 1) A hair transplant alone is not the solution and long-term Finasteride use after the procedure is strongly advisable to at least slow the loss of remaining native hair and protect donor hair. 2) One needs to be realistic about the likely course of their hair loss – overharvesting grafts now could threaten the efficacy of future transplants. Accordingly, Sommiya reassured me that I could leave it to Dr Arshad to design a conservative hairline that would suit me in years to come. I had no reason not to believe her – the clinic’s results speak for themselves. - With all of the information that I’ve gathered over the years regarding what does and doesn’t constitute safe, results-oriented and ethical practice, whether it be about the types of hairs constituting a natural and organically irregular hairline, the use of microscopes throughout the procedure, how grafts are stored safely during extraction and implantion or how deep the inserts are made during the channelling process, Sommiya’s answers to my questions demonstrated clearly why Dr Arshad and his team are featuring so regularly on this forum through the strength of their work. - Dr Arshad performs the graft extractions and the channelling himself, which is where his considerable skill meets his innate artistic talent and which is why the clinic’s results are consistently excellent. He has vast experience and performs these procedures many times a week. As a client, I was confident in what I would be getting. During the implantation procedure, which is performed by the technicians, Dr Arshad regularly enters the room to assess progress. I knew I was in safe hands at The Hair Dr: they really do care and take pride in their work, which was obvious throughout the day as I experienced first-hand how the team works together so effectively. I've been thinking about a hair transplant for a while, to correct my receding hairline. Decided to go for it during the lockdown. I contacted the clinic on 16th May. I had my transplant on the 30th May. They were really helpful, giving me contacts of previous clients for me to talk to. Not at all pushy in any way. The staff and the doctor were great. I even had a game of pool with Dr Arshad at lunchtime. Prior to the procedure we agreed my new hairline and Dr Arshad said i would need 2250 graft to give me the density I wanted. During the op my donor area was dense with lots of folicles with 3 hairs. he ended up only needing to extract 2100 folicles. I got a refund of £450 which was nice. Its 1 week post op as I write this. New hairline looks good, another week and it will just look like i've had a lock down buzz cut. I can't comment on the final result yet, but i would definitely recommend The Hair Dr from my experience so far. Update. 26-March-2021 Its now nearly 9 months post op and my hairline is looking really good. The transplanted hair has really started to thicken now. Its looks so natural. I think there is still some more to emerge yet as i'm not at the 12 month mark. If you're thinking of having a transplant, go for it, you won't regret it.

Fully recommended, my video consultation was with Sommiya, who talked through any questions or doubts I had and wasn’t pushy at all. I was then given some tablets and made my way to the operating room. My procedure was long around 12 hours but I have to say from start to finish I was so well looked after. I had my procedure with Dr Arshad on the 6th February. I had undergone one previous surgery prior to this, at a very reputable Manchester clinic, which essentially failed - with less than 50% yield. Dr Arshad and his team reassured me that I could achieve the results I hoped for, and that all was not lost. Even going so far as explaining the procedural failings of the previous work I had done, which proved a costly mistake to myself! After many years of looking into this I thought I would go for it since we are still in lockdown which gave me a bit of time to recover whilst working from home. I am so glad I did. The staff from first walking through the main doors until the end of the day were so professional and kind. Always asking about my well being and talking me through everything. They are so quick to answer any questions via email/Whatsapp. Were in no way pushy to get my to go forward with the procedure and still continue with their professionalism afterwards. As many have said, the only pain was from the injections for the local anaesthetics, once these were done, which doesn't take too long then the rest is a breeze. A long day yes, but it will totally be worth it in the end and what's a day for life changing results? Plenty of breaks, lunch provided and I was even able to watch a bit of Netflix. I have just finished the first week following Dr Arshad's post procedure hair plan which is so easy to follow with the wall chart provided laying out exactly what to take, at what time, when to spray the grafts, apply balm, etc. All medicine was provided in a pack when leaving too which was great. Long road ahead but I can't wait to see the results. If anyone is on the fence, I can't recommend the Hair Dr enough. Get it booked!

After contemplating and thoroughly researching FUE transplants abroad and in the U.K for quite some time, and with the lockdown enabling me to have some recovery time whilst not at work yesterday I had more than 2,500 grafts with Dr Arshad and the team at the Hair Dr at their Leeds based clinic. I was highly impressed with the standard of care, knowledge, information, warmth and dedication to the process shown by the whole team, putting me at ease right from the beginning of the experience (early 7am start ). What really set Dr Arshad and his team apart for me was their attention to detail in key matters like deciding the shape and density of the front hairline, selecting the correct blend of single, soft single and double hairs in order to recreate a natural hairline for a man of my age (41). So often in transplanted hair you see an unnaturally “pluggy”or there is a perfect squareness to the front hairline which instantly looks unnatural. Another thing was the high level of attention to the directional growth patterns of the hair which being a hairdresser myself I understand are of paramount importance to take into account when cutting hair and also add to the natural feel I had observed in all the picture testimonials on the hair Dr website and On YouTube I felt the team were there for me every step of the way always asking if I was ok and making the day (which can be uncomfortable sitting for so long) a really pleasurable experience. Over the process of deciding to have a transplant I had several consultations with different clinics, and from the beginning really felt I was always given the most honest (even if it wasn’t what I wanted to hear)and thorough advice by the team at the Hair Dr, they want the best results all round and aren’t in it simply for money at all costs, if you are unsuitable for a transplant they will advise you so. The aftercare is thorough and straightforward and the wall chart for when and what time to apply solutions and take tablets is a great idea, couldn’t recommend these guys more . Had a hair transplant by this clinic 17 months ago. On the day service and procedure was fine. Aftercare was a little confusing as there was a lot of tablets to take in the first week so I had to ring up a few times to get further clarification. A few months later my hair became very dense in the front, however the back (crown area) is still a little sparse. I went back and spoke to the surgeon at the clinic and too his credit he did offer to repeat the procedure in the crown to get more density. In the end I decided not to go for a second procedure as the area that made the biggest difference is the hairline. The back just looks like I've started thinning which I guess is age appropriate for me. Overall my experience with these guys was decent, they pretty much deliver what the say they will. The only thing to watch out for is that if you have extensive hair loss like me then you might need 2 procedures to get full density.

Excellent venue and very professional staff. The doctor, the team and the place inspire confidence. The surgeon and carefully chosen technicians were all passionate about the work. They demonstrated great patience and team work doing the extractions and implants. In addition to the surgeon and technician(s), there were support staff to make sure grafts are properly handled and prepared. There were enough allowance for people taking breaks and rests so that nobody feels tired (I think this is important for to ensure good results since the whole procedure takes a long time and needs a lot of concentration). There were admin staff to ensure patient and the surgical team are well fed and watered. Post-operative instructions were very clear. I feel I’ve had the best! I saw this clinic and the reviews online. After faceTime consultation with the surgeon I booked in and had my procedure about 5 months ago. It was a bit of a distance to get down to Leeds from Glasgow but they booked me a hotel to come down the night before and for the evening after the procedure. I had a superb experience on the day, the service is impeccable and Somiya the practice manager went out of her way to help and make sure everything was smooth. Now a few months down the line the results have been immense. My hairline and temples are very dense. Exactly what I wanted. Very good clinic, glad I made the effort to travel down to them !

I have had a very good experience with the Hair Dr clinic. After years of research and several consultations with one of the Surgeons (Dr Arshad) I decided to go ahead with the FUE procedure. I did not realise and was not completely informed about the discomfort I would feel during the local anaesthetic injections (it was far worse than any trip to the dentist!). However the rest of the procedure was explained to me very well and in a lot of depth, indeed once the local anaesthetic kicked in I did not feel a thing. For most of the morning of the procedure I fell asleep on my front. By lunchtime the surgeon had extracted all the FUE grafts. I was given a break at lunch and the clinic staff provided me with food and went out of their way to look after me. After lunch I was sat up and was able to watch TV. The slits were made where my extracted hair would be newly positioned. This process took an hour or so and immediately after the grafts where implanted which took around 3 hours. It was a very a long day and at times during the procedure I felt 'fed up' however the clinic staff kept me going and looked after my every need. I felt like a VIP. Once the procedure was completed I was given thorough instructions about the next steps. I had some swelling of my forehead for a couple of days after however this settled. A week later all the hassle of going through the procedure was forgotten. I went back to work after 1 week, most people could see I had some sort of work done but it was not very obvious and the back of head had pretty much healed. Now I have seen the new hair growing and I have very good coverage. I am very pleased with the result. I felt Dr Arshad was honest with me in terms of what he could do. I felt confident in his ability, knowledge and skills. During my first consultation Dr Arshad mentioned to me that this procedure was not possible without a competent team and I experienced this first hand. I would recommend this clinic, especially given that they are one of the best quotes that I got. Very reasonably priced, yet exceptional service and results !

I paid for 2900 grafts but received 3200 in the end- an extra 300 grafts for free as DR Arshad felt this would benefit my crown, this is something he didn’t have to do but kindly did so anyway I’m super scared of injections to the point I pass out involuntarily whenever I have had them in the past to be honest the process was that good that I could easily do it all again - injections and all! The most uncomfortable part was being sat in the chair for so long, this isn’t a problem though as the staff will stop whenever you need to take a rest! The technicians who implant the hair work very hard and have been know to work all the way through to early morning when needed, they had a long day with myself (8 am till 8pm) The grafts were implanted expertly and despite hitting my head 2 or 3 times over the days after (including when getting into the car immediately after the procedure) the grafts have healed up fine and after my latest checkup all is well! I’m a huge wuss when it comes to medical procedures but I have to say, anyone thinking of doing it just go for it! I’m already considering going back for more once my hair grows fully (6 months to a year) There was no pain during or after the procedure (injection discomfort aside) The worst it got was a slight tingling from the healing a few days in but this went within a day, which is probably the best praise I can give in regards to the Hair DR - it really was painless Amazing Somiya is fantastic and has been ready at all times to answer my questions after the procedure via text whenever I needed her to. The kind lady on the front is amazing and has a great relationship with staff and patients, a real asset to the company! Will be using the Hair DR again in the future

I would definitely recommend the Hair Dr. I had my FUE transplant on 08/09/2020 at the Hair Dr medical clinic in Dewsbury. I arrived at 8:00am and was instantly welcomed at reception by Sommiya,a really lovely lady who welcomed me in and straight away ordered me a sausage bun and made me a cup of tea.I then met the surgeon Dr Arshad,a really nice fella who talked me through what was going to happen and he really put me at ease.After having my head shaved it was straight into the procedure to extract the donor follicles and insert the hair channels, the radio was on and I was talking to Dr Arshad about 3 things we had in common,boxing,rugby league and NYC and the morning went really quickly and was completely painless.Then I had a nice lunch which was provided by the clinic.Straight after lunch it was the implant part of the procedure which was again completely painless and I also watched a movie on Netflix on the HD TV positioned at the bottom of the operating table.When this was all done I was given a cup of tea and taken back in to see Dr Arshad who talked me through all my aftercare plan and gave me a bag of medications to take complete with an itinerary sheet and video.Really enjoyed my time at the Hair Dr,the staff are all extremely caring and take a great sense of pride in their work.If you are thinking about having a FUE hair procedure,I would definitely recommend the Hair Dr.Thanks once again to Dr Arshad,Sommiya and all the team.

Well after having a hairline transplant, I thought it was time to leave a review, so here goes. I had my consultation 5 weeks ago where I met with the practice manager sommiya. The thing I liked about sommiya is she tells you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. I’d already done quite a lot of research on the procedure so was happy with what was explained to me throughout the consultation. I was also able to see a procedure been carried out while I was there. It was then agreed on what I would benefit from and basically this is how much. No hidden agendas or costs. What you see is what you pay. For me it was a no brainier, so I booked my date for the procedure there and then. 2 weeks later and it’s the day of the procedure. I arrived at the medical centre at 7:30 where I was greeted by the lovely young carol who from the moment I walked through the door made me feel at ease. I’d not been able to eat anything that morning but carol made me a little breakfast and may I add a blinding cup of tea which just about hit the spot ( carol, your an absolute diamond and I’m going to miss our little chats) Procedure time. I was all prepped and ready to go. I was joined by Dr Arshad and his team, Helen, hadj( sorry if I’ve not spelt it right) and cleo who showed 100% professionalism throughout the day and constantly putting me at ease. I was having 2000 grafts extracted from the back of my head and felt no pain or discomfort throughout this although the injections to numb the area did make me grit my teeth ha. Once all grafts were removed, I was offered a choice of meals and refreshments while we stopped for dinner. Despite been laid face down most of the morning, I felt absolutely fine, and again felt no pain or discomfort. The afternoon involved the incisions in the scalp and the implanting of the grafts. We’ll say no more about the injections in the scalp. You can work that one out for yourselves. But 20s or so later numbness sets in. Again I felt no discomfort while having the incisions made and Dr Arshad constantly checked that I was ok. I was sat pretty much upright for the grafts implanting so was able to chat to the team which made the afternoon fly by and before I knew it, we were all done and I finally had a new hairline. Before I left I spoke with Dr Arshad and sommiya regarding the procedure and given a goody bag with medication for the following week and a easy to understand spreadsheet on when and what tablets to take and was sent away that afternoon a very happy guy. 5 weeks ago I went to a consultation with receding and thinning hair which really was making me miserable and unhappy. Yesterday I went for my first follow up and walked in a different man. My confidence is through the roof at the moment. Its 3 weeks after the procedure and I’ve already shed the donor hair and can see the new hair coming through already. Everyone cannot believe how fantastic it looks now, even the sceptics who thought I was wasting my time and money so I can’t imagine just how good it’s going to look in the next 6-12 months. I have had a very good experience with The Hair Dr Clinic. I phoned up one saturday, the following Saturday i had a consultation. The consultation was great, i was given all the information i needed. All the team at the Hair Dr Clinic were really helpful and understanding and i new then that i was going to proceed and get the FUE treatment done by them. Three weeks later i arrived for my treatment where i didnt feel nervous as i new i was in the BEST hands. The treatments took about 8/9 hours but felt like half of that. Time absolutley flew by, i couldnt feel any discomfort or pain and had a little sleep whilst the procedure was taken place. I am still in contact with the clinic over a month after and they cannot do enough to help and make sure everything is ok. Had my second FUE hair transplant by Dr Arshad at this clinic over a year ago. My first procedure was done by a clinic in Belgium. I have to say my experience second time around was amazing compared to the first procedure mainly due to much better communication. Dr Arshad was very good and explained everything in depth, I felt comfortable with him immediately. I also felt he was more honest in terms of the results he could achieve. His team were also very good and looked after me. The actual procedure takes place in a medical centre just outside of Leeds in Dewsbury which is about 7 miles from Leeds. I did not mind this as its away from the city centre hustle and bustle, the other location they offered me was Harley Street which was way too far for me. Only thing that could have been better is on site parking. I had to park on the side street next to the medical centre which was quite busy but there was no charge for parking. After the procedure there was the usual period of 'shedding' but now over a year down the line the results are very very good. I am happy with the density in my hairline. Wish I had come to this clinic in the first place instead of trekking all the way to Belgium !!!

As possibly one of the youngest clients I was nervous about shaving my hair completely, not a problem! Cut and styled for a trendy short back and sides retaining medium length top hair which post surgery hides the graft area allowing me to continue with day to day life as normal without feeling self conscious of a 'post surgery look' something I was initially anxious about when returning to university a mere 4 days later! Its been less than two weeks and everything has completely healed! The grafts have taken and appear to be noticeably growing -wether they soon shed or not- time will tell however at this rate there will be considerable length in no time!

Do it! Initially I wasn't sure whether or not to go ahead with the procedure but a friend of mine did it and said it was the best thing he'd ever done so I went for it. So far I'd totally agree. The initial consultation by Hair Dr was offered to me on a Sunday to fit around my work. They were great and answered all my questions so I booked in my slot for a few months time on a Saturday. When it came to the day of the operation I had a really good and honest chat with the surgeon about exactly what I wanted and it really helped to settle me in. They very quickly shaved my head, and applied the anaesthetic. To be honest this was the most uncomfortable part of the whole day for me and it lasted about three minutes. The pain was unpleasant as the anaesthetic was injected into my head but it was absolutely worth it. After that the next three hours flew by, the radio on, and they worked away removing the hairs from the back of my head. The team were constantly checking on my comfort and wellbeing, they stopped so I could have a drink or toilet break whenever I wanted, and sorted me out with a cracking bacon and egg sarnie with chips but you can ask for whatever you want. After lunch it was time to put the transplants in to their new positions on top so it was another uncomfortable three minutes while the anaesthetic was injected into my head again. However, after that it was four hours that flew by and I was bandaged up and ready to be collected by about 6pm. The next 72 hours are critical so I slept with a travel neck pillow on my own and had to set reminders to take the various meds every day for the first week. I had the week off after the operation and I'd recommend it. It really helped but the following Monday, nine days after the operation, I started back at work. It was five days after the operation before I could put any water on my head and seven days until I could use the sebamed shampoo that the team gave me and that really made a difference. The only real visual thong is that you've got scabs on your head after the op but the sebamed really helped to clear those so by the the time I started back at work you could barely tell. Its two weeks ago I had the operation and I'm so pleased I did it. Apparently in two weeks all the hair falls out as the new hairs start to grow through so I'm a bit nervous still about that but I'm so happy that I've done this. One last thing to mention is the support that I received throughout the day of the operation and every day since from the Hair Dr team. It's been great. I've spoken to Som (practice manager) and emailed questions and they've answered them all. My friends and family have all been really supportive. I'm really happy that I did this and I'd recommend going for that free consultation if you're thinking about it. You might just be surprised at what's possible.

I never leave reviews but feel its important to do so here, I had a previous experience in 2018 with another company for a Crown FUE, disappointed with the outcome and did nothing for my confidence. Always thought about the front hairline and researched 2/3 other companies, as usual all sorts of different opinions. Came across the Hair Dr - great reviews, local etc. All very quick as I had a call with the DR and some comms with the staff, was very pleased with the conversations and the care I could see from Dr Arshad who listened to my concerns etc. I made a decision due to having an opportunity to do so and being able to recover as working at home for the foreseeable. Its very early only Friday of last week I had the procedure, felt at ease, it was efficient and the aftercare pack is superb with day to day detail of what you need to do to recover, of course the final results will take time but this clinic cares about people and is not transactional like other places are so from my experience I'd highly recommend and look forward to the results.

I did about 3 years of thorough research before having an FUE hair transplant 12 months ago at this clinic. The procedure and post operative care went fine. Initially I was very worried as most (if not all) of the grafts shedded in the first 2 to 3 months. But boy did my new grafts grow back with a vengeance. I have extensive early hair loss in my family and I was a Norwood 6 (almost complete loss in crown and front) by age 35. The consultation at this clinic was very educational and the surgeon took the time to go into depth about various treatment options. I was shown with high magnification that the density in my donor area was very good and that I would be a good candidate for FUE Hair Transplant Surgery. I was really impressed with this as all other clinics I visited the sales advisor or surgeon simply eyeballed my hair and estimated the number of grafts. Dr Arshad and his team gave me a REALISTIC outcome for my treatment; I stress the word 'realistic' as many implantologists promised me hair like Rupunzel, although their post-op results were hardly a testament to that. A concise pre-op information pack was sent out to me prior to my appointment. The Hair Dr even made special arrangements to schedule the procedure around my busy work-life, allowing me to avoid taking too much time off. On the day, I was welcomed by a friendly and hospitable team who made me feel relaxed. They were frequently asking about my wellbeing, keeping me well fed, hydrated and entertained with a 50" TV and Netflix at my disposal! The best thing about The Hair Dr is that their main goal is purely patient satisfaction. The proof of this is that I was given extra grafts completely free of charge because the team felt on the day I would have a better result with some density on my hairline. This made me feel that the team truely have my best interests at heart. The post-op instructions were very detailed and thorough; I was even given an out-of-hours mobile number to contact should I experience any issues at night (which I didn't!) I was extremely pleased with the outcome and I am happy to say that The Hair Dr have restored my confidence.

I’ve recently undergone my FUE procedure with the Hair Dr Clinic and I couldn’t be happier. I visited the clinic back in February for a consultation and was immediately put at ease, everything was explained to me fully and in terms that I could understand; not once did I feel that I was being ‘sold’ to. Due to work commitments I couldn’t have the procedure until July, however I was kept in the loop right up until the day. Upon arrival on the morning of the procedure, I was welcomed by Somiya and was immediately put at ease. I was made to feel welcome and all questions were answered before the procedure began. I was taken into the room, and the 3 staff that were there were laughing and joking with me, which immediately reduced my nerves. The procedure lasted approx 5 hours, during which time I even managed to sleep. Upon completion, every little step of after care was explained to me and I was given everything that I needed. In the following days, I had virtually no pain. I had a lot of questions about things that were happening, (itching, slight bleeding) in which I was able to message Somiya and she explained how it was all normal. This was at all times of the day, literally 11.00pm at night. And I always received a quick reply. I returned for a follow up a week later, and was greeted by the receptionist with a hug. I’m extremely satisfied with my results so far, and am really looking forward to the finished product. The professionalism and caring qualities of each and every member of staff shines through. The whole thing from start to finish was seamless. I cannot thank you all enough!

A fresh start with a new head of hair... Thanks to the amazing Dr Arshad and his team of extremely professional, competent people. My experience is five stars. I arrived at 7am prompt, Adam greeted me and made me feel at ease. This was following a fews weeks of WhatsApp messages and video calls, with the delightful Practice Manager, who provided me with all the necessary information. Then to meet the man himself, Dr Arshad. He advised me to increase my implants, which I did, drawing a hairline of how he expects the end result to appear. Down to the room and off we go..... 28 Feb I had my fue with the hair dr , had 2 consultations before hand , I previously had an fue at another clinic unnamed, so I knew I needed a second to put the first one right, well I was very nervous as you think every fue will be the same and at a cost , I cannot find.words good enough to say , lovely lovely people , so very kind , understanding , very very patient , never once did they ever try to sell me it , unlike other clinics! Had my Hair Transplant yesturday,what a amazing experience got there just before 9am Adam was expecting me,really genuine guy then we went to the waiting area while waiting till the surgeon was ready to see me,Adam was very informative with what I should expect throughout the day,I was then took through to see the surgeon Dr Arshad who drew my hairline correctly as my previous Transplant was botched,then I had my head shaved then off to the treatment room everything was very clean,had my anesthetic to my donor area which were a little painfull but quickly went away,then harvesting then implanting,all stages were very efficiently done,all by Dr Arshad apart from implantation but he did oversee it,technicians were excellent who were very professional & friendly who looked after me so well the whole procedue was around 9 hours but it was so worth it.Thankyou from Adam to the Technicians to Dr Arshad you made my day memorable and I’m so looking forward to next few months.

Great experience from start to finish.Everyone involved was very professional.The procedure took about ten hours but seemed to pass quickly.The entire procedure is pain free from the administering of the anesthetic to extracting the grafts through to the making the slits for the newly transplanted grafts.I was given painkillers to take afterwards but did not take them as i had no pain in either recipient or donor area.I was suprised that it was so easy to sleep the first night as i was expecting some discomfort but slept like usual.I did not suffer any swelling either.After a week the tiny scabs about the size of a grain of sand had all dropped off the donor area and the ones in the recipient area after two weeks.I did not suffer from a flaky scalp or any redness.The donor area was completely cover by hair after seven days.I was given propecia and minoxydil after by the surgeon and have not had any side effects with those.Just waiting for the new hair to start growing now.I would highly recommend HairDR to anyone thinking about having a procedure.
