Always find the reception staff and clinical staff pleasant and helpful. Emma on reception Christine and Dan in particular are fab. GPS have always understood concerns and done scripts etc without any issues. I'd recommend Chapel Lane surgery to anyone

Chapel Lane Surgery's system is the classic call at 8am, hope to get an appointment surgery. But you generally will get a same day appointment. I'm a fan because they have an online e consult service for minor ailments- if you have an infected cut, specific aches, a UTI, you can fill out the online form and get a callback from a doctor the within 3 days who can then prescribe you what you need through your nearest pharmacy. It's really useful when you don't have the time to get up in the morning and go through the rigmarole of seeing a doctor and you just need advice.

I want to thank the practice for the outstanding service I have received today. I used the econsult service and within 24 hours I had my prescription. A doctor contacted me to get further details about my condition before prescribing. A receptionist contacted me within 15 minutes of me posting a query. It is just great to be able to highlight service. Thanks to you all at the practice

As with most GPs surgeries these days, it takes absolutely forever to get through in the morning, but, having spent 35 minutes on hold, they didn't just fob me off with a 'no appointments left, try again tomorrow' response; I actually got a GP to phone me! Whenever I've been in the staff have always been extremely helpful, and Dr Callow was surprisingly accepting of things that other GPs have been extremely dismissive of in the past. They obviously keep up to date with their training and reeducation. It's very convenient to get straight into the pharmacy next door without having to leave the building, as well. I'd have given them 5 stars if it weren't for the crazy wait times.

Staff and doctors are very helpful. I feel like the doctors actually care about you as a person, rather than a number. Their new e-consult service makes it easier to get to see a doctor. I've been a patient there for many years and would recommend to anyone.
