Staff have been really helpful from the phone call till end of visit. When I called, I was in luck because somebody cancelled so I was able to get appointment same day. I arrived a bit late and they still would let me have my appointment however I was warned during the call to be punctual. The girl whose name I forgot, was quick and knowledgable, replaced my implant with no fuss. Definitely recommend, thanks for your help!

The service today was simply amazing . The nurse was a wonderful gentleman named Derek who was superb. Doctor Jay zadrowski if that is the right name was fab too . Great clinic with generally very friendly and approachable doctors and nurses. The online booking system is awful though, which is why I'm not giving it 5 stars. It literally never works for me and so I always have to phone up and sit in a 10 minute long queue instead of just booking it myself. I can see the appointment slots online but whenever I try to book it just says there was a problem and tells me to call up. Been like this for months and never been able to get it to work. Not great for such a fundamental part of the service to be broken in 2021.

My first visit to 56 Dean St. Incredibly thorough and comprehensive assessment and treatment. Dr Jey and the attending nurse put me at ease, dealing with me in a relaxed but professional manner. It was my first time using the clinic for myself and the experience was amazing everyone was so calm and professional. The environment was so welcoming and quite refreshing from the receptionist to my doctor. Ms. Harriet was a gem. I felt at ease and not on edge or uncomfortable she made me feel like I was speaking to a friend rather then an actual doctor she answered every question and in detail she wasn’t rushing to get me out of her office as you would experience at your regular NHS GP in fact I am writing this review because of my experience with her. I live quite far am from Essex ends however because of my stay I will definitely recommend this clinic to everyone and I will be back. I was quite skeptical about having a certain procedure done that my gp has been trying to enforce for the past 2 years and with ms.Harriet I decided to have it done that same day. I honestly wish all clinics and GP were like this. You all Definitely found a regular patient here!!!😊😊👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Just came back from my first ever appointment on 56 Dean Street, and I must say I've had a great experience with both nurses/drs that took care of me. Dr Hannah Russell and Dr Christopher Stewart (not 100% sure about his name) were fantastic. So professional and friendly, they really made me feel comfortable with my screening, and answered all my questions. 5 stars for both of them. :)

56 Dean Street is welconing clinic that I would highly recommend. I recently had my coil removed in this clinic. The staff were super friendly and helped me through my nervousness with care and kindness which I really appreciated. Everything was super clean and covid safe too!

Overall a good experience, but I do agree with other comments about some of the receptionists letting the service down. There is one man in particular that doesn't have the best communication and he's definitely not appropriate for a public facing role in a sensitive context. However, there was one other man in reception who was absolutely lovely! I'm quite certain the guy I'm concerned about has been commented on before, he really needs to learn to moderate himself.

A lot of have changed after the lockdown. I’m so amazed and pleased with the service and the hospitality right from booking a appointment through talking to the doctor and getting the treatment. The doctor (with long hair and bun, rainbow ID tag and rainbow socks) was super cool to talk to and he was so patient and helped me with everything I wanted (vaccination and treatment). I’m so pleased and amazed because from my past experiences (before the lockdown) - this was not the case. Thank you doctor, the nurse and the reception lady.

The staff here are so lovely. The clinic has really good facilities and is very inclusive to everyone - I love how it is LGBT+ proud and welcoming. I had to wait about an extra hour to be seen, but this is usual in clinics. When I was seen, the Dr spent lots of time talking to me, and he and the nurse were both so kind. There was no judgement whatsoever. The Dr gave me a much needed referral for psycho-sexual therapy, which the health advisers provide there at Dean St and you don't have to live in the area to get it, which is brilliant! Definitely would recommend this clinic xxx

I've been to other clinics where I've had to wait more than an hour past my appointment time, so this was great. I had the Mirena fitted, which is never comfortable and I was a bit nervous, but Cal and Jennie were great -- comforting, caring and quick! Will definitely be going here going forward.

All the staff were caring and understanding of my situation, including i had the puppy with me. The service was great. Great team, out of all nhs services this is by far the best. The clinic is probably the best in the world - one of the few places where you can get all your results in a few hours. I was seen yesterday as an urgent case, was sent straight to urology at Chelsea hospital where I was taken good care of. The whole team is amazing. From receptionists, to nurses to doctors. Go to the clinic regularly for checkups and the staff are nothing short of amazing. The team here is extraordinary! Calm, collected, friendly and massively helpful! Today I received a number of checks, vaccinations, probes etc from a nurse called Sara D and she was perhaps the most exceptional medical professional I’ve ever had the pleasure of being helped by! I hate needles and needed 5 (I think) injections, she was lovely and made what could have been a horrible and really anxiety ridden process, extremely calm and really rather quick and cheerful ! Thank you dean street and thank you Sara (and to all those complaining, this is a FREE health service so consider yourself lucky that you can get it in the first place ! If you want to complain, pay to go private !)

Walked straight in and no appointment was needed to buy prep. Was seen by a nurse who took blood samples and even gave me a Hep B injection. I had the pleasure of later meeting Dr Jay who was a most charming, helpful and professional man who knew everything I needed to know and he helped me through every step of the way in the busy clinic and even went out of his way to make sure I was happy and sorted. i had some issues getting an appointment and had to wait a couple of weeks before i could get seen, but this seems to be due to the government cutting funding for so many other sexual health clinics in London, and this one having the best reputation and therefore being the most sought after. it is spotlessly clean, with fabulous staff who are caring, positive and nonjudgemental, i waited less than 5 mins for the nurse, treatment and condoms are free, and you get your results on the same day. we are very lucky to have this place, thank you so much for all you do

56 Dean Street and Hammersmith Broadway are grear. Seamless service from informed and cool staff. Today I booked using the online system and got a same day appointment - on a Saturday! Received SMS reminders and confirmations, even as I checked-in to let me know that someone will see me soon. Free WiFi and friendly staff at reception. I was seen by a lovely nurse/doctor who was very informative and thorough. Through the conversation, she already assessed that I had a common Ph balance issue, but she offered me a full check anyway as I was there. Left with some antibiotics and feeling reassured. Got one more SMS with a link to an info booklet on the issue and will get test results via SMS within 5 days too. This is how all health services should work!

I went to the Dean Street clinic and they took my blood but instead of taking it from my vein in the middle of the cease of my forearm the nurse took it from the side. Despite having a vein popping out in the middle, this resulted in a very painful injection. And now I have this huge bruise that you a can see. The benefit of this clinic though is they are pretty much the only clinic in London that will give you results in 6 hours. Most other places that I researched can take up to 7 days. I just think the nurses need to be trained up to take bloods in the most comfortable way possible for the patient.
