Once I had the first signs of light wrinkles on my face, I thought I’d give acupuncture a go, and I ended up loving it! Athena is great at explaining every step of the process, which makes me feel I am in safe hands and the result has been amazing. I’ve also learned how to treat my skin in the best way possible, going forward. Not only I have seen the change on my face, but I feel very calm. When I visited Athena's clinic acne was my main concern. I was a bit reluctant in the beginning (after trying many failed treatments) but after Cosmetic Acupuncture I was so pleased with the results! As I lay in a comfy chair and stared at the wall attempting to relax for the next 30mins in my peripheral vision all I could see a dozen tiny little needles poking out of my face. This is simply the natural Botox. Needles are placed into the skin at specific points in the body where vital energy is said to flow, to improve circulation, unblock "stuck" energy, and help the body to rejuvenate. Once my time was up, the needles were quickly removed and my treatment was complete. By the end of the session I feel like it’s the first time I’ve been properly introduced to my body and my skin is glowing and is vividly clearer.
