I have been attending De Beauvoir surgery for the past 5 years and I would highly recommend them. The receptionist are professional and compassionate and the doctors I have seen have been all competent and provided me with safe care. A special thanks to Dr Marlowe who has reviewed my baby and myself for a 8 week postnatal check up. He was calm and reassuring. I Can't thank you all enough for being such a fantastic team.

Excellent surgery. We registered in 2013 and never looked back, always had a good experience. The phone triage nowadays (due to Covid) is efficient, followed by the same day phone consultation with a GP if necessary. Thank you Dr Marlowe and the Team.

Some could say that a practice is just like any other... This is far from being true! In my 25+ years in London and after having moved home and GP in those years I finally found a GP that answers all my needs and that actively and fully supports my health. Doctors are always available, kind and thorough and the same should be said about the staff answering the calls and doing the admin. With Dr Marlow and Dr James my health improved drastically with minimum need for unnecessary medications, despite these being always prescribed when appropriate. Reducing weight, taking care of my mental and physical health and maintaining a good healthy standard has been at times challenging and if I didn't have the support received by this Practice, I would have been lost! I'm trying to find some down points just for the sake of a balanced review, but nothing comes to mind. The practice makes me feel cared for and at home. I couldn't recommend this enough.

I moved to this surgery because of its quiet location and easy access from the quiet route along the canal. Also the reception area and the surgery in general are laid out very generously in spatial design. There's always a quiet corner. My previous surgery was very busy with the staff being overwhelmed, at De Beauvoir everyone from reception I have met at visits and spoken with over the phone was very pleasant, helpful and compassionate. There are several different doctors, some more senior, some junior, out of several visits there was only one occasion where I felt that there wasn't any resolve, so I booked with another doctor and it was fine. I'm giving 5 stars as I think this surgery tries and manages well to look after people.

I couldn't find the "consult online" button so gave this three star review, but have to say when I did get through the lady on reception she was absolutely lovely so feel a bit mean now. Still think having an email on the website would save the practice a tonne of work answering phone calls. Also would be great to have the times reception is open to phone calls online too. Anyways the staff I do remember are great so yeah give them a go.

I have had nothing but good service at the surgery… Dr Marlowe looks after me with great care and attention & when he’s not available there are many other very caring competent doctors and assistants to help me out. ALSO I had to add, that I read a review further down this page than really annoyed me from somebody who left a very negative review...so sorry that this person had to wait 40 or 50 minutes for a FREE lifesaving service from our GREAT NHS...try a new idea ....try to get some perspective and gratitude...this alone might make you feel better.

Reception staff have always been lovely to me. Dr Gary Marlowe is without doubt the best doctor I’ve ever had. He made me feel at ease and gave me all the information I needed whenever I was ill. You couldn’t get a better doctor and if you Live I. The area you’re very lucky

Polite and friendly staff, every time I have called I have managed to get an appointment either later that day, or within 2 days. When I had food poisoning they booked me an emergency appointment 20 minutes away. They also send text messages so you can rate their services each time. Very impressed.

Brilliant surgery, highly recommend Dr James and Dr Marlowe in particular. Can usually book a telephone consultation same day, and in person consultation that day or next day if needed, which is impressive as I’ve heard of much longer wait times at other clinics. Staff and doctors are all very caring and competent.
