I’m 3 months into using the custom made anti-aging formula and I love it! There is a visible difference to the texture and overall appearance of my skin. The prescription has just been tweaked so to give a larger dose so I am quite excited to see what further changes that brings to my skin over the next month. The face wash and moisturiser are also really good. I highly recommend giving all of the products a go!

I’m still going through the process of getting my skin how I want. It’s been about 5 weeks and I can see my T-Zone is already so much clearer and I do think my skin already looks brighter. I’ve struggled a lot with dryness and redness around my eyes and cheeks (not helped by the harsh weather!) but the team are great at replying and recommending what to do. They sent me my new treatment for this month which increased the strength of some ingredients and after reviewing my skin they decided I should stay on the lower dose and sent me another bottle free of charge! They start you off on a low concentration of active ingredients to determine your skin’s tolerance to those ingredients. I’ve had no problems so following the virtual consult (based on progress photos which you upload to your online profile) they’ve slowly increased the strength of my cream. My skin feels much softer and pigmentation is slowly but surely reducing. I’ve not had such even skin in a long time. Will gladly continue to use Dermatica.

I Have been using dermatica for 2 months now and I am very impressed. The product is tailor made to match your skin type and I have seen a slight improvement in my skin texture already. I have tried a different brand similar product offering solution for acne prone skin but didn't work . This product on the other hand is absolutely fantastic , worked miracles on my acne prone skin . I also love the skin cleanser and the face cream as well. The cleanser is a bit expensive but definitely worth the money . The only thing that could be improved is the doser . A daily doser would be better in my opinion . Also lasts longer than 30 days . You get value for your money .

I don’t usually click on the ‘skin solutions’ ads on Instagram. I am so glad I did. As I have aged I found my pores getting bigger and ‘sun spots’ had appeared in one or two places on my face. I had tried so may things on the dark mark but nothing worked. This is a gradual treatment, but within two weeks I could definitely see an improvement in my large pores. After 1 month other people were noticing. The sun spots aren’t completely gone yet, but are definitely faded and easy to cover with foundation whereas before I had to work at it with concealer too . I have been using Dermatica's anti-ageing treatment: Tretinoin 0.05% / Niacinamide 4% / Azelaic Acid 4% for some months now and I am completely happy with the results so far. The prescription helped with the texture of my skin, seems much smoother and even toned as well. Also noticed some reduction of some fine lines and I am sure my pores seem smaller too. I had a couple of persistent spots that kept coming back in the same place and they have also cleared up. I never expected miracles :) and tretinoin I have heard will show results over time anyway, so I am sticking with it as so far just had good experience. Tretinoin has some side effects and I think this may differ from person to person and I have had some peeling and some sensitivity but nothing that would make me stop. The initial assessment/questionnaire is simple and quick too, I had my first prescription shipped probably within a week. From what I can see you can pause/postpone any of your next shipments too as many times you want and they only charge when they dispatch. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

So glad this came about. Great product and good price for the quality. No need to get tretinoin sent from abroad or poaching from foreign pharmacies when on holiday. This is a well thought out product with active additives that make it strong and very effective, beyond the tretinoin I’ve used before this. Tubes are a bit small though, if a 20ml or 30ml option would be available that would be very welcome as I’m a big guy with a larger face area and hands so I get 3 weeks on and one week off out of one tube of used once a day. As for communication and strength upgrades. I can’t fault the prompt and detailed responses so far. I do recommend this if you’re struggling with lines, sagging, textural issues or have sun damage. There’s no over the counter product that can do what this combo can. I’m 51 and tried many otc products including tretinoin from Asia etc. Other than the limited product size there’s no reason to switch to anything else. My skin looks great after a fairly short time too. For an active ingredient that’s as rare as hens teeth in the uk, I’m glad this has come along as an option!

I was literally at an end with what to try for my skin, I always had under the skin cysts that would just last for weeks (it didn’t help that I couldn’t stop touching them!) I sent photographs to Dermatica, joined the monthly subscription and products came quickly. The first month was postage only, it is strong stuff so I only use 2-3 nights a week but it’s just completely eliminated the under the skin spots from forming. As I don’t use it all the time, I use the option to defer a month subscription which works really well for me. Hydroquinone + Tretinoin combo has really changed my skin for the better. My melasma after many years is now under control where i don't have to depend on foundation to leave the house. I am very happy with the service recieved with dermatica. I have been using them for a year now and doubt i will ever stop. I have spent so much money and tried so many products in the past and nothing has helped clear my skin. With tretinoin your skin will get really really bad with breakout and mega dry flaky skin. Stick with the purge for as long as it will take because thats part of the process. The end result is worth the scary face you deal with initially. I don't break out anymore as that lasted about 4 months for me. The only thing is my skin gets really dry when i use the cream, so moisturiser is my best friend even though i have oily skin. Pls dont over think it and get with the program in getting flawless skin...

I’ve been battling adult acne and since pandemic started it has become worse because of wearing face masks and as nurse myself, we wear them for 12 hours or so at work. It’s is indeed heaven sent as my acne has started to banish however, there’s a purging stage but after that, my skin has been better and slowly I noticed there are no more acne popping out. It really is a genius product that has helped with my adult acne. Though it’s not an overnight success as it’s a medicated treatment, it takes weeks and months for it to really work properly plus you have to use it religiously as it contains antibiotic. Halfway through my first month the pump bottle stopped working because the formula had crystallised, customer service were great and they sent out a bottle with a new formula within a couple of days free of charge. At this point I had two bottles, both free. I continued to use the product, then after about 3 months noticed that they had not been sending a new one each month as the subscription should have been. I however was not being charged and the bottles had lasted me until this point anyway. So I messaged customer service and they sent me another bottle free of charge! I am now finally paying for my monthly treatment, customer service has been excellent. The product itself it quite good, it has helped with texture issues and seems to fade my scars faster. I can not express how much this works. I’ve had issues with spots since I was 18. It became so frustrating to me at 36 now to still be having issues. I tried every lotion and potion imaginable, which never seemed to help. I’ve been using Dermatica for around 3 months now and my skin is completely clear. Now I still have the odd breakout and this is few and far between. Normally one spot appearing would lead to a face full. However, now the one spot goes and doesn’t cause me a huge breakout. I've spent most of my adult life battling mild acne. I have also seen a huge reduction in the pigmentation I'd been left with and since I get less spots now, I have less new pigmentation occurring. I got a special offer and took it to try, I was like wow this won't last me a month when it arrived, but it does. They look at your skin and your concerns and send you a detailed summary of your plan and how they will help your skin. Well let me tell you I've tried everything retinol, hyaluronic acids, niacinamide and nothing truly helped, was strong enough etc but I get cystic acne and the lumps are huge under the skin and so so sore. The retinol has worked amazingly at fading the sun damage on the sides of my face, tightening pores (particularly around my nose) and overall improving the appearance of my fine lines and adding a glow to my skin. My skin is so clear and bright - I no longer feel I need to use foundation. (just remember your factor 50 every day). I had a little peeling when first started using but just moved to use the retinol every other day until my tolerance built up. After a review process i got given my treatment (i took about a couple of days i think), the trial worked brilliantly, was very suprised on how well my results were, i noticed my skin being less red, having less breakouts and not being as oily. Ive read some people having problems with dryness, i never experienced this but if you do just email them, they offer brilliant advice and they also suggests types of products to support your treatment! One criticism i have is that to cancel or restart you need to email which is a bit of a fuss, it would be nice to see an option to do that on the website. I have struggled with Roseacea for a few years now. It started off as triangle patches on my cheeks, to spreading over the entire lower half of my face. It really had me down and depressed. I tried covering with makeup, but that never worked, as the foundation just did not "stick" to my skin, and the redness showed through the patchy covering. I literally tried every over the counter product aimed at Roseacea. However, these products did not deal with the root cause, and just tried to reduce the redness or cover it up. I heard about Dermatica from a skincare Facebook group that I was a member of. I simply logged on, answered a few questions about my skin and any medication, plus submitted 3 photos of my face (side profile left/right and front view) then waited to receive my personalised prescription. I believe I only waited a week or so. I was prescribed low strength Tretinoin and was advised that the dose would be increased over time in order for my skin to adapt to the retinol. I received my order after a few days. I’m now going into my 4th month using Tretinoin and gradually seeing results. My prescription strength has increased once in this time and my skin has adapted really well with minimal flaking/redness. A tube will last around 40 days, using 2 pumps per day however you will be sent a new tube each month. My skin texture has changed a lot and fine lines have reduced. I wasn’t expecting an overnight cure for my skin condition - I’m in this for the long haul and these things take time but I’m happy with the progress thus far. My only criticism would be that they are quite slow to reply to any emails. I filled in my 3 month follow-up questionnaire in which I asked a question and a week on, I haven’t received a response. I do believe that they are inundated at the moment though so hopefully I’ll hear back soon. Overall, I would recommend Dermatica to anybody who would like to try stronger medication for their skin ailments, whether that be acne, rosacea, skin ageing prevention etc.

The application to dermatica is simple and easy to follow, the wait for a prescription was a little longer than usual apparently but I did apply at a very busy time during the lockdown period and it wasn't excessive, maybe a couple of weeks maximum. Once I received the online prescription the tube arrived in the post within a few days. JUST BRILLIANT - LONG REVIEW! :) I've had an amazing experience so far and I'd definitely recommend a Dermatica subscription. I love this brand for so many reasons, for starters your treatment feels personal right from the beginning. With a detailed skin questionnaire filled out and photos uploaded, you're immediately put into contact with their team of pharmacists who talk through the prescription they recommend in detail and the reasons why each active ingredient has been chosen to treat your skin specifically. After having been approved by your GP the treatment arrives in a compact and very easy to use container which dispenses the perfect amount of product with each pump (a little goes a long way!). I'm no skincare expert but I think the formula itself is very high quality, it applies easily and leaves almost no trace on your skin. It's unnoticeable once it's dried - especially if you follow up with a hydrating moisturiser to stop your skin drying out overnight (as the formula does contain whichever acids have been chosen for you specially - this is always a good follow-up step especially when using high acid concentration products). Often in the past I've found skincare treatments to sting and cause my skin to tighten, but not with Dermatica. In fact I suffer with combination skin and as such my skin can quite often feel dry and almost grainy in places but having used Dermatica for a number of months my skin has become noticeably smoother and softer. The staff are incredibly helpful and their customer service is also 5 star. Once my months order arrived accidentally damaged and after emailing to ask for a replacement, within the same day someone had got in contact with me and refunded my treatment, shipped a replacement out to me and gave me the next month's free for the inconvenience. If this isn't testament to how much they care about their customers I don't know what is. Lastly, with regards to the cost, £20 a month might seem a lot at first glance, but personally I feel that I'd spend that much on any other element of my skincare (moisturiser, cleanser etc...) each month anyway, and for the quality of product and service you receive, I honestly think it's an absolute bargain! The product and service itself are amazing. I was a longtime Curology customer in the US and after moving to the EU, I was forced to ship my bottles over here at great expense. I found Dermatica though and not only was the consult experience exactly what I expected, I got the same prescription I had in the US. My only bug bear about the entire process is shipping, which Dermatica themselves have no control over. My trial bottle was rejected by Swedish customs and Dermatica sent another out right away. Unfortunately, it arrived AFTER my first proper month’s subscription, which is no reflection on them, but rather Royal Mail. My trial was already expired by the time I received it which is a real shame but, again, not their fault. I am only including my experience here so that other non-UK customers can adjust expectations for delivery times. Dermatica itself is a great service—it’s affordable, offers custom prescriptions and provides access to dermatologists without the need for endless referrals and waits through the healthcare system. I know that for me, in Sweden, I wouldn’t be able to get an appointment with a dermatologist for anti-aging or PIH issues, and even if I did, I wouldn’t be able to get tretinoin. Really positive overall experience with only one downside. I got treatment primarily for my hyperpigmentation and secondly for a few spots I had left over having had acne. I saw results within two weeks and after 6 my pigmentation had cleared up almost entirely. Impressive considering it usually takes a minimum of 3 months. My consultation was quick and I received my item within 2 days of confirming (same for following months). The bottle is very small but goes a long way with one bottle lasting me 6 weeks. The only downside was that I think there was a small hole as some of the product dried up inside the bottle clogging the dispenser and I ended up having the pry the lid open with both bottles I received.

Really lovely experience using Dermatica. My first order was delayed due to covid which wasn't the fault of the company but they discounted my second order anyway which was much appreciated. The cream itself I'm finding very effective. A little drying in places where I'm prone to dry skin but otherwise having no problems, and it does seem to heal new spots so much quicker. Haven't seen an overall reduction in my acne yet but fingers crossed I've also not seen it get worse, which has happened with every acne cream I've tried thus far. The only thing I'd improve is being able to control how much cream you're given. One pump is enough for my face but I also suffer from acne on my back and shoulders, so I'm using more which means I often run out before my next lot is shipped. It would be lovely to have an option to say this is for more than just my face so the amount sent to me is amended as needed.

I can’t overstate how miserable my spotty chin was making me. My issue was hormonal and not one of dirty skin, so my options were already reduced. I tried over the counter items, things that were well reviewed online and nothing worked. So even though it costs more, I broke down and thought I’d give an online dermatologist online. I have been using Dermatica for nearly a year now and can definitely see an improvement in my skin. I had quite a prominent sun spot on the side of my face which has nearly disappeared now which is great. My melisma is still there but is a lot better than it was. Although I didnt initially put the Retin a on every single night due to peeling, they have slightly changed my prescription so that I am now able to use it every night. I am very happy with the new results. You get plenty of cream and I often have some left over. I would recommend this to anyone with skin issues. It takes some time but nothing good happens over night!!

They provide treatments that were previously only accessible via expensive dermatologist appointments that alienated people who either couldn't afford the visits or who were unable to attend due to health or transport reasons. I love receiving my skincare delivery that’s tailored to my skin. Very thorough process to determine skin concerns involving lots of questions and submitting photos. Received first delivery very promptly and was impressed by minimal packaging, clear instructions and simplicity of the skin cream. No big claims, no expensive and over the top packaging. The contents of the prescribed skin cream are clearly labelled on the pump action skin cream container. The strength of the active ingredients in the cream gradually increases with each delivery. Generous amounts delivered so I found I needed to space out deliveries to fewer that once per month.

I have always had some peri oral hyper pigmentation, which had gotten noticebly worse due to wearing a mask at work, sometimes for more than 13hrs straight (I am a hospital doctor). I had looked for private solutions which were costing £1500+ and had the inconvenience of attending in person. The Dermatica website was so easy to use, I got my first precribed cream and noticed lightening of my pigmentation within 2weeks!
