Over the last couple of years, I have had some injuries which I was initially not sure from where to get help. I wanted a treatment that would be delivered by a highly qualified practitioner, but also would look at health in its entirety. I went to Toby after many friends who practice sports with me praised the level of qualification and quality of his work. Since then, I have attended his clinic and I am always impressed by how precise and meticulous he deals with issues I bring along. Although I have had a number of consultations, I always come out surprised with the effects of the treatment. I have known Toby for over 6 years. I first came to see him with debilitating tension headaches in 2014. I was having them 24/7 for a few months and no prescribed medication or physiotherapy helped to resolve them. I didn't have much hope when I arranged an appointment with Toby after a friend recommended him. How wrong I was! I felt improvement after the first session and the headaches were completely gone after few treatments. Since then Toby has been my first point of contact when I have an injury or feel unwell. Not only I find his sessions beneficial to my health but they are also utterly relaxing (I often fall asleep half way through the treatment) and very personal (there is never rush, Toby is always generous with his time trying to help to make you feel better.) cant recommend Toby highly enough. I wasn't new to accupuncture when i first met Toby circa 5-6 yrs ago, but what a difference one can achieve when you find somebody as rare a gem as Toby. Toby isnt just knowledgeable, skillful, professional, friendly, calm, welcoming but very intuitive and incredibly gifted at what he does, and he does miracles. No task is too small/big for this wonderful young man, my experience includes - getting pregnant, overcoming some difficulties walking when pregnant, starting contractions (without drugs) when due date was 2 weeks long overdue by western medicine, dealing with digestion, blocked neck, shoulder pains, insomnia, broken toes and foot recovery after falling 2 m on concrete that was way too slow to heal properly, helping my mum with post-stroke-recovery and hypertension and heart decease, and even helping my 1.5 yr old son with recurrent otitis. Toby has many loyal locals in the community - am so gratesful and still amazed each time that I am see him, even my husband who isnt really into eastern ways of mending is treasuring time with Toby. I've had a lot of treatments for serious and strain injuries over the years, with a knock about "life style", thinking I was tougher that actuality. As a result of lots of treatments, I find it easier to spot a real healer from a authorised practitioner . Toby is the real deal. I've had a couple of chronic injuries that were very debilitating to an extent that they stopped me exercising in some sports. Absolutely amazing treatment! I pulled a lower back muscle at yoga and thought I'd be out for weeks. Toby was able to fit me in an hour later and resolve stuff before the injury set in. Aftercare was brilliant too - he explained how clearing chi would work and exactly what I could expect to experience as things released over the next 48 hours. I visited Toby a number of times during recovery from concussion. Initially sceptical of acupuncture I was quickly brought around. I had tried a myriad of treatments to reduce the nausea associated with my concussion and only acupuncture was able to alleviate this. Toby also identified and worked on injuries to tissues in my neck, a secondary injury that both doctors at A&E and my GP had missed which was constraining the movement of my head and therefore my recovery. I had been suffering with debilatating cluster headaches and for three months before a mutual friend suggested contacting Toby for acupuncture treatment. Initally sceptical but having been suffering side effects from strong prescription medication, I had little to lose. The results were immediate. I cannot recommend Toby enough. I found his clinic on google in a moment of desperation, I was very pregnant, with intense, crippling headaches and with my face partially paralysed. Finding Toby Stephens/Genki Clinic was a turning point for me when I was still new to London healthcare scene. I started to get answers and most importantly results without the side affects of the mainstream medical protocols. I was not new to acupuncture but for the first time I discovered that you can get almost instantaneous results and communication is absolutely straightforward. It is invaluable to be able to get such expert oriental medicine treatments without having to travel thousands of miles or struggling with the language barrier. It's also very encouraging to know that you don't have to go through the full cycle of suffering when you start feeling sick with seasonal or chronic ailments' attacks and you can just "nip it in the bud". Successful treatment cases include persistent sinusitis, multiple colds and flues, headaches, tension and pain in the shoulder, lower back pain, nerves playing up in lower extremities as a result of spinal/disk problems, digestive issues, blood circulation issues, inflammation of toe and lots and lots more. You leave the treatment room fully relaxed but also focused, which is very helpful for me. I regularly come for treatments since 2014 and this allowed me to enjoy a "no claims benefit" with my medical insurer! Absolutely amazing treatment of "sunset eyes" syndrome in my 1 year old baby really stands out, numerous occasions of helping two of my older kids with colds but also stress and what comes with it. Kids recognize the results and are always happy to be treated. My 72 year old Mum literally rejuvenates after just a few weeks of treatments and not only forgets about hypertension and migraines but also adopts little fitness tricks which always work. Toby is a great source of knowledge when it comes to health, it is always interesting to learn something new and get a clear explanation. Highly recommended!

I went for a routine session. It occurred I had a persistent laryngitis since a couple of weeks (inflamed throat and loss of voice). I would have never thought Accupuncture could help to get ride of VIRAL diseases. I was amazed to feel the release immediately after the session. It has drastically reduced the inflamation. I went back for another session to accomplish the treatment. Toby spent well above the time frame making sure the treatment was fully delivered... A bit costly would you say; however it is better to help the body with natural treatments rather than using chemicals that pollute your body, with time ending up with degenerative illnesses.
