Normally they're great but I booked an appointment and called to double check when it was as its been a while and I had no text and apparently it doesn't exist. For patients with anxiety it can be a big deal to call up and talk about personal details with a receptionist just to get an appointment so cancelling it can really affect people who might not be able to call back and do the whole process again. Especially when they've been needing medical help already for a while. Apart from this they're great but it's a big deal to just cancel an appointment after I was literally forced (not in a mean way its how gps work but still a lot for me to do for now no reason) to explain a personal problem on the phone just to be able to get an appointment Lovely staff but really massive inconvenience. Lucky it wasn't an inhaler I needed ig.

I have always found the reception staff to be polite and helpful. Whenever I have seen a clinic nurse, a paramedic or a GP , they have all been efficient , kind and reassuring . I am so pleased I switched to this practice as my previous one was definitely not to be recommended!

Edited: I've been having appointments with this centre for the past two years and I've noticed a significantly positive change here. On top of the pandemic, it's amazing how their services have improved. Of course, it's difficult to get early appointments with most centres but the other services have become better. The receptionist, the nurse and GPs are all very friendly and go the extra mile to give thorough advice. Very impressed with the improvements, please keep it up!

I've been with the practice for over three years and it's one of the best ones I've ever been with. The nurses and GPs are really caring, listen to you and offer great advice, and I've never had issues getting appointments (usually arranging over the phone). Really sad I need to change GPs as I've moved address.

I am really happy with the pre-covid and maternity services I have received here. The nurse is absolutely amazing! However, since covid I simply can’t get through to the clinic and am on the line for 40min+ without success, multiple times a week. Update: I just wanted to mention how amazing their online access is! I can just order my repeat medication which is so convenient.

Always friendly and helpful. The GPs know their stuff and always take time to listen and understand. Never felt rushed. Only downside is current wait for appointments but I guess that's the same everywhere.

After the dreadful experience with my old gp in Stratford, this clinic has been surprisingly good. Receptionists are really good and I have always been able to get through to them very quickly. Being able to get phone appointments and a specialist referral during lockdown has been a really good help.

I really love the nurses and GPs here, they are providing a great service. The wait time is long but it is a large borough and NHS is stretched! In my experience the receptionists have been quite rude, patronising and unclear which can make the experience of calling in quite unpleasant. I am personally planning to move GP but if you can get past the first bit of contact it's a good GP.

Usually great especially with babies. However I don't understand how a doctor is supposed to check if you have an enlarged spleen or a lung infection etc through a phone call with no physical examination. Frankly waiting for two weeks after you experience symptoms like pain when breathing is dangerous. The way the nhs is operating right now encourages people to go to a&e!

I am very satisfied the service in Lewisham Medical Centre. The GP is the most kind and patient doctors that I had met. Most importance is all receptionist are so kind and hard- working people. I have been there on 19 April 2017, the two ladies in the reception are the best in this surgery. My family and I are greatly appreciated their hard work and kind booking. I would stay with them wherever we moved away.

I attended for a Flu jab and I was impressed with the whole set up as it was during lockdown. Very efficient system of checking in on arrival after sanitising your hands and a temperature check. I saw the paramedic who was very professional and efficient.

I have been here few times and always helpful staff. Answer the phone quick, appointments sometimes far away but the person on the phoneline always tries to help with solutions or tips. Caring nurses and receptionists. Clean waiting areas and rooms.

I'm not sure why this place has so many bad reviews. Sometimes the appointments run late meaning you have to wait around to be seen, but this seems to happen everywhere, and it's certainly much better here than at my old GPs. All the doctors I've seen have been great. They've listened to my concerns and always been attentive. When I've tried to make emergency appointments for children I've either been given one, been given a time to go and wait for a doctor to be free, or had a phone call from one of the doctors if we can't be seen. The midwife is also amazing. The only downside of this place (for me) is that you can't make an appointment on the day unless it's an emergency appointment, and even then, you can be on hold for half an hour, or calling back every 30 seconds because it's engaged, only to be told there are no appointments left. My old GP allowed you to call and book same-day appointments first thing in the morning, and first thing in the afternoon. This was very useful for last minute illnesses that weren't 'emergencies'.

I've only been registered with Lmc for about six months. During this time I've needed a fee extremely urgent appointments due to a life limiting chest condition. If there has not been an appt directly I get to spin to the paramedic who works at the surgery. After speaking to them and they feel I need to be seen im offered an appointment, that day, every time. No complaints what so ever.

Can't fault them. Staff have gone above and beyond to get my prescription to me on time, Dr's have been great, and you can do a lot of stuff online. Dr Brody is very good if you'd rather be seen by a female. I've moved area and will definitely miss this service, my new GP is far less convenient and it's much harder to get an appointment. Some people have given one star because they weren't let in until the surgery opened at 8am, I don't understand how that's an appropriate complaint if they opened on time. This is an NHS service & the staff are clearly doing their best, it is so unfair to give it one star just because you arrived early!
