Reviews of London Pain Clinic

Doing telephone consultations is the easiest thing in the world. Dr Jenner is always punctual, so no hanging around waiting. Always cheerful, open minded about other options to pain management. He understands that telling you you have to come off opiates you may be on without offering you an alternative is not going to cheer you up! After all, relieving you if that pain is why you’re there…., Dr Jenner believes you, and your pain, and will do his darnedest to remove that pain. Go see him

Visited Dr Jenner with ongoing pain issues. I felt extremely well looked after, with all aspects of my assessment, discussions and subsequent treatment extremely well explained and thoughtout. The whole team at the London Pain Clinic are extremely friendly, professional and extremely approachable.

I visited Dr Jenner after a recommendation from a friend who was also struggling with neuropathic pain after an injury. Having suffered for many months with this pain with no resolution in sight, despite having seen other doctors, Dr Jenner conducted a thorough and detailed examination of my case, was empathetic, reassuring and provided me with a diagnosis and a very comprehensive treatment plan. His report was thorough and he was keen to know how I got on with the treatment. After 2 months, my pain has reduced (he had managed my expectations and advised me it would not necessarily go away completely) and I have witnessed an improvement on my quality of life. I highly recommend Dr Jenner and his team and am very thankful for their helpful and friendly approach.

II have been having consultations with Dr. Jenner from feb 2020 where he diagnosed me with fibromyalgia. Under his supervision I have successfully navigated a course of pregabalin which has dramatically!!! reduced my pain. It really has given me my life back and I couldn't be more grateful for the continued support of Dr. Jenner!

Having suffered agonising acute back pain episodes for 14 plus years, and numerous investigations and pain medications which haven’t helped I contacted the London Pain Clinic recently and have had 2 consultations with Dr Jenner who has prescribed a treatment plan which seems to have worked and although its very early days I’m pain free. I’m feeling very positive now that this regime will help me cope and have a quality of life to enjoy.

I have not been in a position to visit the clinic in recent years, like many others, but i have always received very helpful and supportive assistance from the London Pain Clinic team when communicating about my needs.
These needs , in terms of medication principally, are likely to stretch well into 2022 but hopefully my progress will continue to be fruitful and i'm very thankful for the excellent support they offer.

I can’t recommend Dr Singh enough. I booked an initial consultation with Dr Singh for pain management, and he referred me for an MRI.
When the MRI results came through, it transpired that I needed immediate surgical intervention because of a rare condition called cauda equina. This had been missed by all my previous doctors.
Dr Singh called me immediately (prior to our scheduled consultation call) and told me to do to a&e as fast as I could. He acted so swiftly that I was referred for emergency surgery within 24 hours.
I’ve never had a doctor give me that level of urgent care, and he essentially saved me from loosing my bladder and bowel function. So I owe him a tremendous amount, because if he had been slower to respond, or less diligent, my situation might have ended much differently.
Thank you to the whole team, especially Dr Singh.

I was suffering with tremendous nerve pain in my right arm, to the extent that I totally incapacitated and virtually bed bound. Unfortunately pain killers were not effective so we contacted Dr Jenner at the pain clinic.at Harley Street who offered me some hope. He instantly recognised I didn't have fibromyalgia which had been previously diagnosed and set about managing my pain ultimately prescribing a course of injections for me.
Thanks to Dr Ramos-Gálvez who administered the treatment it started to work within 2 weeks and with a 99% success rate within a month. I am almost back to my old self and have completely regained my independence with the additional help of physiotherapy. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to Dr. Christopher Jenner, Dr Ramos-Gálvez and the team who have found a way to give me my life back.

I’d just like to share my appreciation of the treatment and care I received at the London Pain Clinic and Weymouth Street Hospital. Having suffered from severe idiopathic facial pain for over 25 years, I was recently faced with a crisis. An episode of atrial fibrillation for which I was prescribed blood thinners suddenly ruled out my continued use of anti-inflammatory medication, which had allowed me to manage the condition, causing me a lot of debilitating pain. With the NHS clogged up after Covid, there seemed no route to prompt relief. So, after some research I decided to book a consultation with Dr Chris Jenner at the London Pain Clinic. His manner was informal and friendly, and he was keen to listen to what I had to say. And before long, he literally put his finger on what was probably the main source of the pain, the occipital nerve. Within a week I was booked for 3 pulsed radiofrequency procedures.
Ana, the pre-assessment nurse, was very thorough and caring, and provided a lot of information and advice, so that I’d know what to expect. And she made plenty of time for me.
On the day of the treatment I walked into the operating theatre, with lots of staff busying themselves and getting ready for me. A bit daunting, but I was resolved to get on with it. Dr Jenner calmly worked through the procedures, keeping me informed and seeking my feedback along the way. After the operation and recovery, he came to see me in my room and answered my questions and told me that it may take a week or two to feel the benefits of the treatment, maybe longer. But here I am, 2 days afterwards, feeling 80% pain free, and I have greatly reduced my painkiller intake. Many thanks to Dr Jenner, and all of the theatre staff and nurses, including Emma and Arden, who took such good care of me. They have given me so much relief and hope that I will no longer tormented by those pains, and can get on with enjoying life. Five stars are well-deserved.

The London Pain Clinic is a well run tight knit outfit, that’s provided me with balanced pain relief, and given me a good portion of quality of life again. A combination of tablets and injections have had more than a a positive result. Also from time to time treatments can be adjusted +/ -, one has only to talk to the clinic Dr for reassurance.
This bedside manner has been lost in the NHS world of ivory towers.
Thanks to Dr Jenner, Sara & Emma for dealing with someone who can be a little awkward due to 43yrs of spinal damage, ripped shoulder ligament’s and more recently Damaged nerves in the soles of the feet...all radiate pain like hot coals.
My Sincere Thanks to one and all at ...
The London Pain Clinic.
