I visited the clinic in mid 2012, with fertility issues. I'd been trying to get pregnant for nearly 2 years and was feeling quite helpless and distressed. I thought I would give acupuncture a try and within 4 months I fell pregnant! The service and counselling Tina gave me were fantastic and I really appreciated her advice as a doctor and friend. I started off being very cynical about alternative holistic therapy but am now a complete convert. Tina gave me nutritional and health advice as well as the acupuncture sessions, and most importantly just listened and comforted me when I got more and more depressed about everyone falling pregnant around me...except me. Tina never doubted I would get pregnant and I truly believe that the pregnancy is down to her. I would highly recommend Tina to anyone.

1 year ago, I was diagnosed with a Herniated Disc and with trapped nerves. I tried several other treatments, but nothing seemed to work. I recently visited Nillie at The West London Clinic with acute pain in my lower back. I was in excruciating pain and was unable to sit down or walk for short periods due to the discomfort. After one visit I was able to sit and carry on day to day without the uncomfortable and unbearable pain. I still had some tenderness in lower back but after a few visits i was pretty much cured and felt very good. I was told by a friend that an osteopath had diagnosed and helped an issue of his which a doctor could not diagnose (he got the generic “give it rest’ response) I had ankle pain. I first visited West London acupuncture clinic, to see Nillie in regards to an old injury to my shoulder due to a car accident at uni. It had been hurting a while and started affecting routine movement like lifting or carrying my bag so was concerned as to why it had just started to progressively worsen. The GP advised physiotherapy which didn't work when I first had the injury so wasn't convinced but luckily had also tried acupuncture which totally helped so thought seeing Nillie would be the best route to go down. I found them through Google search and reviews read really positive so made the appointment. The initial consultation is very thorough and also includes an initial physical exam to assess how bad the pain or injury was. Nillie committed to resolve my issue in 3 sessions, I was sceptical but agreed as that felt like it was honest and confident in her ability to tackle the issue I had. Each session with Nillie which was over the space of 3-4 weeks, was different. Each slightly stronger and deeper with a variation really getting to the root of the pain. After the first session, the pain felt 70% better. My second session was to pull the remaining pain completely to treat, it was intense but surprisingly the most effective as I felt 90% better at my third appointment. The last session really massaged and eradicated the remaining pain, leaving my shoulder stronger and fully mobile. Nillie is dedicated and very confident, I would trust her with any pain I and and highly recommend the service she offers, before you start thinking of more evasive treatment, see Nillie to see if there is an alternative. She's honest and will only commit to what she is confident in helping with. The rest is up to you. Huge thanks to Nillie, you really have saved me years of further pain and possibly permanent damage.

Having spent five weeks under the care of two medical practitioners for treatment of sciatica, I was in despair with progressive, terrible pain, and dependant on a concoction of prescribed pain killers. I was a bit naive when I went to see Dr Nillie the first time. I had pain in my shoulder and I expected it to be fixed within a half hour of manipulation. Turns out I had a deep muscle inflammation, the whole area between my neck and my arm was swollen. It would never have healed on its own and manipulation alone wouldn’t have fixed it. I’m so glad I have found Dr Nillie (thanks to all the other reviewers before me!) and I think she is incredible. A friend recommended Nillie at the West London OAN Clinic earlier this year when I was suffering from terrible sciatica caused by a herniated L5 disc impinging on the S1 nerve. At the time, I could barely sit down, couldn't sleep, and was often in tears from pain. I cannot recommend this place enough. I had been seeing an Osteopath yearly for a number of years however was never informed that there could be a potential disc issue. After a number of weeks of suffering unexplained back pain I had an excruciating episode which resulted in immobility and numbness in my right leg. I was unable to get out of bed let alone walk. Within one home visit the following day I was mobile and almost pain free and mobile. On the first visit the Osteopath diagnoses the problem which was later completely confirmed by an MRI.
