I joined the practice 3 years ago when I moved to the area and always thought the standard of care when I needed it was very high. But recently I had a baby and have found it to be lacking for new mothers. When I developed a breastfeeding related infection I was only given a telephone appointment even though I asked to see someone in person. I wasn’t prescribed antibiotics — only a cream — and it later developed into something much worse (mastitis) and an emergency trip to a private GP for help. When I went for my baby’s 6 week check up the lift was broken so I had to leave my pram unattended and carry him up and juggle all our stuff. And lastly there is no longer a regular practice nurse which means when it comes to his injections I was directed to Camden central services to seek an appointment. None of the clinics are remotely close to where I live for what is a stressful appointment for mother and baby. The month of experiences at a time in life when you want to be able to rely on your local GP have made me consider whether I need to go elsewhere.

I have been a patient at this practice for more than 4 years. The doctors are friendly, effective and professional. The reception/admin team is really efficient. The entire NHS is going through funding crunch and it does mean appointments are tough to come by. But, the extended hours and walk-ins really help. Thank you Park End Surgery

A larger number of doctors and quick access appointments every day of the week make this easy to visit and be seen in relevantly good time. All of the staff there are friendly, knowledgeable and personable. They also will take the time to write referrals, answer emails/phone calls, and never hesitate to call back when there is a more urgent need.

I even received a call to ask how I was recovering from emergency surgery. The Dr asked if they could do anything more to help me on the road to recovery. Absolutely excellent. Something I've never experienced before (and I've moved around a fair bit so have been registered with a number of practices over the years). Reception staff are always polite and willing to help which is in my experience unheard of at other GP practices. Quick access appointments allow to be seen at short nnotic without much hasle, and Drs are willing to call you back to discuss any urgent queries.

I had written a review about 2.5 years ago when I first started going to Park End surgery. I was thrilled with our experience with Dr. Horton and since then it has been the same excellent experience. I also have to add a few words for Dr. Iizuka. He is genuinly caring, highly capable, engaged and there to take care of you. Many thanks Dr. Iizuka!

We just moved to the area. My daughter developed an allergy to some insect bites. I called in was able to get an appointment. We saw Dr. Horton and he was super nice and helpful. My daughter (10) told me she would always like to see him when she gets sick:) Thank you Dr. Horton!!!
