As a new patient, I am so incredibly impressed and quite overwhelmed with the very personal and proactive approach especially from Dr Rafique. I filled in a DrIQ standard form regarding my health and within minutes (literally), the doctor rang me and went through everything in detail with me. I have never had such attentive service not even from a private GP. Not only did he assist me but continued to answer other questions that I had and provided extremely useful guidance with regard to my son. I am very grateful to him for spending so much time and being so very thorough. I truly cannot commend the surgery enough!!

Updated review I have since contacted Randolph surgery and they asked me to submit another query via app so as to make an appointment. Eventually I did get my prescription but the app process was definitely not clear. Also if you ever need to actually see a doctor, the app is not helpful at all Original review I submitted a letter from private consultant that followed me for years to get a prescription through dr. IQ app. Instead of the process being easy and getting prescription sent to pharmacy, doctor requested for me to also see them. First of all, my private consultant knows me for 5 years and throughout this time they sent copies of all letters to Randolph surgery, however Randolph surgery never seen me in person - how can they assume they would know more than my private consultant. Second, I tried to request an appointment via app and it told me no appointments. What a nightmare to deal with this surgery for what is not a complicated issue!!! Please either make it easy to schedule appointments online or just use my private doctor's letter.

Have only had one visit here so far but to be fair they were pretty good. The desk was busy and they were having to deal with a very difficult/drunk patient and were calm and kind to him. They were great signing me in and I got an appointment on the same day no problem as a matter of urgency. The Dr I saw was pretty business like but efficient. The only thing I think that I could say is that their telephone manner could probably be improved, but apart from that I was pleased with the service I received.

I’m quite a new patient at the Randolph Surgery and so far I’ve had excellent experiences and care. I have found using the Dr IQ app really easy and it hasn’t been at all difficult to get appointments or advice. Dr Mike and the team are brilliant and will take the time to listen to you / give you a call to advise. The nurse was also fab when giving my little boy his inoculations (it was all done very quickly). Also, if you use the app I find that the surgery will respond really quickly - it’s absolutely brilliant. Thank you to Dr Mike and the team for looking after our little family so well!

Excellent experience so far, they are always very efficient and diligent. I have had two consultations through their app, both identified the problem and sent prescriptions within 24 hours. I also recently went for a routine check up and found that the surgery was very quiet and clean, with lots of sanitisation and social distancing procedures in place. Nurse Lea was fantastic, she explained everything clearly and made me feel very at ease, and was happy to answer my questions and concerns. Overall a very professional practice and I feel my health is in great hands.

I’m a new patient to the surgery - I signed up through Dr. IQ about a month ago as I needed to book a vaccine I had missed. Onboarding was completely seamless and quick (only took a day to be approved from the comfort of my sofa). I also managed to book an appointment for the following 3 weeks - surprisingly quick! On the day, I ended up getting my vaccine in just 20 minutes. Nurse Nazir was very kind and helpful, I barely felt the needle! Really pleased, thank you :)

They help with all the flexibility you may need booking appointments as practically as possible. My experience with the Doctors has been excellent too. An excellent consultation with Nurse Lea; both efficient and empathetic. What a pity she is leaving. Thank you, Lea, for the first and last time. Why do the clinical staff not stay long at the Randolph? We have lost 6 GPs in the last two years. I hope that our new nurse will stay long enough for me to get to know her. Normally blood tests can be quite painful, at least in my experience anyway. Nazir, the nurse who did my bloods today, made it the most pain free experience I have had. He has a great way of building rapport with patients and is one of the greatest assets Randolph Surgery has without a doubt.

Surgery has an app which is great. Problem is that it only works for repeated medication. In all other cases, doctor still calls you and if you missed that call then you have to call surgery back and wait in line for at least 30 min (I gave up) and still did not get to speak to the doctor. Not useful at all. Please do get more receptionists and when doctor calls please ask them to try calling a few times - it is a direct call for them to us and 30min+ wait to call back and still without a success. Or make app more useful so that to minimise number of times we have to call back.

My entire family have been with the surgery for 15 years but I doubt that anyone knows us. There has been so much change. At some point it felt like the GPs operated a revolving door. Changed hands recently and they seem to be making honest and effective efforts to increase service levels and responsiveness, which is great to see. Very polite and responsive.

After a first terrible experience with doctor Farood Rafique, I was lucky enough to have a second chance. I asked for a change and they provided a doctor appointment with doctor Nadya Jethwa, who was kind, professional and precise. Notice that to get an appointment you must use an app called "Dr. iQ", which is easy to use and mostly efficient (Be aware that to book an appointment you must use the app before 9:00 am). The second time I booked an appointment in Dr. iQ , the notification provided a "Requested Date", a "Processed date", and also, gave me the name of the health professional, but in the "Message" section was written "N/A" . For that reason, I did not know what time my appointment should be (I was expecting a text message or another notification message but never got it). Then, the poor doctor was calling me several times during that afternoon without response, because I was working and I had no idea my appointment was that day or at that time. However, doctor Jethwa called me again the next day (for fourth time) and we managed to talk. I do not know if it was a bug in the software or someone just forgot to write a message with a date and time (as they did in the first appointment). Obviously as user I felt very bad for not answering that day. I hope they can improve that for better customer experience and to make doctors life a bit less complicated in these hard times for the NHS.

I went to see Dr. Ounnas Houda at Randolph Surgery the other day for a health issue I had. She is very professional and empathetic. She listened patiently to me as I described my symptoms, asked questions and examined me carefully. She explained to me what my health issue was and why she chose a particular treatment. It's so important when you're worried about your health to be able to go to a doctor with a warm and friendly approach, who doesn't rush you and takes the time to explain your health issue and the treatment. I wish all doctors could be like Dr. Ounnas Houda.

I am new to the area so it was a first time for me but,from Maisa at the reception to Elena, the nurse screening, I was made to feel comfortable. The staff at the surgery are very proactive and respond pretty swiftly despite the high volume of patients that they have to deal with. My recent positive experience was due to Maisa and her input into organising something for me. If she hadn’t been so responsive and helpful I doubt it would have happened.

I have been with this surgery since July 2019. Had huge reservations as the reviews were not great and I was very happy where I was so felt reluctant. I asked a few neighbors and they said they were happy with this surgery. By the time I registered, I heard they were under a new management. I have been there quite frequently for myself and my little one and I can't praise the staff enough. They are really helpful and accomodating. The nurses are great and doctor's too! The only reason I didn't give 5* is because the wait can be a long at times despite having an appointment, sometimes up to 30 minutes. However, the last few appointments I had, I was seen within 10 minutes from arrival. Thank you!

I'm not even a member of this surgery (yet) but just walking in and enquiring about certain things, I must say that the helpfulness of the reception team blew me away. Having dealt with years of disgusting attitude and service from my own GP of 12 years just down the road from this one, I really appreciated how polite and well mannered they were. ALL OF THEM (Male & Female), including the doctor who came out to do his own business but jumped into the boat of helping to explain things and help me out. It's so rare finding places and services like this now, so I really needed to put down this review. I also appreciate the mix of ethnicities of everyone working there. I have asked around since then and gotten positive feedback from other people about this surgery, but my review is based upon my own little visit (pre-Covid) and experience. Its 4 stars only because, this experience is limited but I have a great feeling about them. Really great one. Keep up the good work Randolph Surgery.

Best doctors surgery in Maida Vale. Over the past 15 years I've found it easy enough to get appointments and the staff have always been helpful. Huge shout-out to Shamima, who helped me obtain a medical summary for my very ill father. All the doctors I have ever had at the practice are very caring and I never have felt like they are rushing you through the door. Referrals to other services have always been reasonable too. It's also a nice clean building with lots of light! The only annoying thing is the automatic phone system can sometimes cut you off after holding, though nothing a bit of patience calling back doesn't sort out. - Musa Miah

All I can say is wow! The service at this surgery is second to none, I registered last week, received an email to say it was all done a few days later, I downloaded the app Dr IQ (was pretty sceptical this would work), registered the app with the correct surgery and they approved this immediately, I then sent a message requesting an initial consultation. 5 minutes later, yes you read that correct, 5 minutes later I received a call from the receptionist who arranged a call back with a doctor (this literally took place 10 mins later) and now I have my repeat prescriptions set up (the doctor sent them straight to my chemist)and I can now book appointments as required via the app. In all my time in London I have never seen standards as high this - Congrats guys, keep up the good work and I look forward to many years as being a patient at Randolph surgery!

Needed to have my cholesterol checked so asked via their app 'Dr IQ' last night after surgery closure; so was surprised to receive a call at 7pm from the nice receptionist (did not catch her name) who gave me an appointment for this afternoon along with another for something else! Used to be great, once you get seen can still be good. Unfortunately they randomly cancel appointments at the last minute without offering alternatives now, so you have to re-book for weeks in advance, which could be far too late for what you need. If you book an appointment and they deem it something you should see a nurse for when you do show up, they turn you away, even when no nurse appointments are or were available when you book. Apparently they have other "remote" services at other physical locations for these situations, and you should be offered a different appointment when yours is cancelled, hopefully that is the case in future... But it hasn't been for me so far

I had an appointment at 10:45 and after an hour in the waiting room, I asked how long will be until my turn and they told they forgot to type my name in despite the fact when I arrived I said to them my name and that I have an appointment.!! An update today the called me at 8 o'clock in the morning and they apologise for the yesterday incident and they offered me an appointment today !! I really appreciate it and I appreciate their effort for the patients. Well done Randolph Surgery!!!

I have attended this surgery for nearly 20years and I really can not fault them. I always get an appointment within 48 hours of telephoning. My last experience was within a couple hours. Yasin the receptionist, works under extremely pressured circumstances and always shows professionalism and empathy. He was problem solving constantly the last time I was there as the phone was constantly ringing, patients arriving with a myriad of problems of which he tried to help, with more than one option for them. Dr Alison Lennex was to the point and thorough and has put in place all the necessary future appointments required. More than satisfied with my treatment under her care. It has never mattered who has seen me in the past, the Doctors have been excellent. I do wonder why there are poor reviews, because of my experience, they seem totally unwarranted.

Don't want to go into it really as think nhs choices is best place to Express your gratitude or vent your anger. I was quite unwell seen by Dr Lennox who appropriately referred me and followed me up monthly for over a year! When I had to attend the surgery as felt unwell had an appointment I was called that morning by Maxine who offered to come & walk me to the surgery. I said I was fine to come to surgery on my own. Don't think I ever thanked her . But hey was that just her humanity or was it suggested? it doesn't really matter as either way she was willing to do that for a patient!
