My family and I have been registered with this surgery literarily since they opened their doors. The reception staff are absolutely super, especially Tara. As a qualified clinician myself, who deals with different health professionals on a daily basis, I can safely say Tara is a problem solver. She always offers a solution or an alternative, if what you wanted is not readily available. Most importantly she communicates effectively and always has a welcoming smile. She is a credit to the surgery and an ABSOLUTE ANGEL, I cannot praise her enough and I hope the management of the surgery appreciate what a gem they have. All the female reception staff at this GP try there best to help you with your queries. And I like using the Dr.iQ App when I can't get on the phones sometimes impossible but app is good when available. The receptionist Susan was friendly, courteous and very helpful when specking on the phone, the phone was answered within a few minutes, which was amazing, she was very professional and treated me with respect, she turned my day around, was really nice speaking to someone who truly cared. Very happy with the service, particularly during pandemic. I find the online consultations (via app) the most convenient and easy to book. Staff is very responsive and helpful. It is also much easier to get through in the phone! The telephone consultations have also come in handy (booked via phone and app). The pharmacist and nurse are very helpful and reassuring. Also if the Practice doesn't have anymore appointments available they are able to book a patient into GP Access Hub which also has telephone, video and face to face consultations in the evenings and weekends (for minor health conditions). Very good practice working at scale and serving the local patients. I recommend it to the locals. Keep the good work THC Team!

I recently joined the practice and the services and respond time to calls and updates on issues both medical and administrative has been fantastic. I am satisfied with the service received during the pandemic, perhaps more so than beforehand. I used to struggle to get through on the phone to book an appointment but now I tend to use the Dr. IQ to book consultations and so far I’ve received appropriate care which has prevented me from going to A&E due to my condition. The GPs are doing their utmost to streamline the process. The practice keeps tabs on all the important aspects of patient care like regular medication reviews, etc. The reception team has been polite and helpful. Great practice. Excellent customer service skills by the reception Staff. Friendly disposition. The Doctor tried to allay my fears, pending the diagnosis of my health concerns. The practice nurse who took my blood samples was equally great, tried to calm me, in view of my age. I must also point out that in view of the pandemic, everything was put in place to ensure safety of the patients in form of social distancing and sanitising. Overall, i will say it's a great pratice and will recommend the centre any time. This is why i have been with the centre for years.

Registered at this practice following recommendation by a friend. One of the practice receptionist Susan was happy to explain how to register via the Dr iQ application, which was fast and easily done and there is an application for my iPhone. On reporting a medical issue, the Dr iQ application made it easy for me to request support, the medical team came back to me promptly and professionally - this to me is how a GP/NHS of the 21st Century should be run! No more waiting in a busy GP Surgery waiting for the queue of patients before you, sharing god knows what germs with other patients, freeing up the surgeries for more urgent / special cases.

My experience at this surgery has been refreshing. I rarely write reviews but felt compelled given the positive experiences I have had during my visits. First the way I was engaged by Dr Alison when she called was very professional and extremely reassuring, I immediately felt that I was in good hands. I am also a big fan of the progressive infrastructure and IT capabilities (Dr IQ). Special mention to Nurse Mary Animashaun who is exceptional, her experience and interpersonal skills as well as knowledge of different cultures sets her apart. I observed as she seamlessly transitioned between patients from different backgrounds, she seemed to always know exactly how to engage them which is a rare and undervalued skill amongst health professionals. Finally, I want to thank Georgette the manager for making this centre what it is. Well done guys!

I am always very happy of the service in this clinic. Staff is always nice, efficient and professional. The nurses and doctors are very nice and I always feel like they listen to me. I also find that the treatments they prescribe work quite well. When I call they always answer the phone, even though there might be a little waiting. The only downside is that sometimes it's hard to get an appointment, but there is always a doctor or a practitioner for emergencies. Then again you have to try and call ASAP on that day for the emergency appointment. Overall I am very satisfied with the service provided by the clinic and I would recommend it.

I did have to wait an hour after my appointment time on one occasion, but these things happen and the doctor was dealing with an emergency so I think it was probably a one off. I recently joined this practice as I was unhappy with my previous GP. On my first visit I was seen by one of the healthcare assistant. She was very professional and friendly. On my next visit I was seen by a doctor who was very thorough in her assessment. As a patient I felt I was listened to (unfortunately, this was lacking in my previous surgery). The doctor was very professional, sincere, and knowledgeable.The receptionists are very welcoming. There was few minutes of waiting, but I didn’t mind as the service I received was worth the wait. Plus I do understand the pressure of short staff and less time in the NHS. I highly recommend this surgery.

I am very pleased with the service at Thamesmead Health Centre. Sometimes it is a couple of weeks until you can book an appointment however, staff there always try to help and offer on the day appointments every day. For example when I needed an appointment last week and couldn't get one, the Receptionist Brogan managed to get a Pharmacist to call me instead. this also meant I didn't have to come into the Practice as my medication was then sent to a Pharmacy

Thamesmead Health Centre is an excellent health care facility. Although I have only joined them in recent years, when I was very ill last year the diagnosis and fast track to a hospital appointment was second to none. The medical and administrative staff are helpful and effectively efficient. I also like the many ways you can access the Health Centre through the GP app. I find this a good way to book appointments. Definitely a stress free experience.

Used to like this practice, takes me 30 minutes each time to get someone on the phone. I don't understand how they can possibly be this busy. I was told no appointments available to book, can try emergency appointments every morning at 8 for 3 weeks. I just need a repeat prescription and blood tests. Let's say my expectations are very low with GPs in this country, but the general experience I had with this practice was okay. I had an high temperature and my GP practice offered me either an appointment in two weeks (...) or next day at Thamesmead H.C. Considering how busy are GP practices, I was surpised being the only one waiting on a Saturday 8:30am. The consultation was okay. The doctor was accurate and full of explanations
