E. D.Easily the best GP practice I’ve ever used.
All members of the staff are incredibly helpful and well mannered. You can find appointments within the week and if it’s urgent, they can fit you in on the same day most of the time. Highly recommend!

S. B.Only joined this practice in the last 6 months but WOW, what a fantastic team!!! Dr Hammond is extremely nice, understanding and caring and the reception team are lovely. However, after putting off my smear test for 5 years due to nerves I could not have ever asked for a better nurse than Amparo, she put me at complete ease, explained everything to me and basically prevented me from running out the door! Honestly can not thank her enough she is an angel. It should be called the Great practice, thank you for all looking after me! :)
J. A.I am new to this practise and have found it to be a phenomenal experience. I have always managed to get appointments extremely quickly. You can also request to get appointments online, which is super helpful. The reception staff are exceptionally kind and wonderful! I requested an appointment to get some blood tests yesterday afternoon, and was given an appointment for this morning to get the blood tests done. The nurse who did my blood tests is truly an angel, so caring, kind and a joy to be around. She voluntarily suggested and recommended I have a Pap Smear, and organised for it to be done immediately after my blood test. The Pap smear was by far the most painless and positive Pap smear I have ever experienced! I have only paid to have it done privately before, and it was chalk and cheese different. This was wonderful?!! The Spanish woman who did it was absolutely LOVELY and so funny! It was truly painless. This was the most wonderful NHS GP experience I have ever had, I was in and out super quick, and everyone was positive and lovely. I highly recommend this practise to anyone looking for an NHS GP in the area. Thank you to the wonderful staff who treated me today, you made a usually unpleasant experience a complete joy! X
N. F.I have to change to this practice a few years ago as my previous one close. I have been reading reviews about this practice and I guess it is very difficult to write about something that involves your health, it gets a bit more emotional. This place for me is a bit of a mystery, they change the way you can make an appointment often, so you never know what to expect. The ladies at the front seem to be train to advice you against making an appointment, they will offer you a phone call and most likely send you to another clinic. If you ask for an appointment to see your test results, they offer you to read it out loud to you, yes, in front of all the people waiting in front of them you can have a receptionist reading out loud about your health, if you ask them to send them by email instead, they ask you to pay a sum for the trouble. Finally you might get a doctor to talk to you on the phone about the results, which they finally send because they realize charging for an email is a bit too much, and when the values are wrong the doctor tells you the laboratory has those wrong with other people, I know, complicated to trust the other values now. Last time I stop by I have a horrible pain on my chest and the lady took my blood pressure and told me in a dramatic tone, no way you can see a doctor today, we are busy, I don't care about how much pain you have, or if you are struggling to walk. So, I am giving 3 stars, because once you pass the filter of the very unpleasant receptionist (which I am assuming are trained by the doctor in charge) you get to see good professionals, the administration part is very difficult. It is a business after all, paid by your taxes but currently your taxes are busy paying other things and the current politics don't really care about having a working NHS.
B. C.Dr Hammond is a very nice doctor who listens and is very helpful. Sadly the same can't be said of the rest of the practice. Rude staff,not all of them but it does not help.
J. S.Excellent doctors. The practice used to have a management and lack of empathy amongst their front-facing staff but have really turned things around over the last few years.
