I had acupuncture treatment with Mike during my IVF treatment and especially for pre and post embryo transfer. He is very professional, empathetic and kind - exactly what you need during the stress of an IVF cycle. I had treatment at CRGH which is round the corner and Mike was always accommodating and flexible around my treatment/appointment times at the clinic. I am currently sitting at home with my 2 week old son after a successful IVF cycle. It's certainly worth a go and really helps you to relax before heading into the clinical environment of a fertility clinic.

I was keen to trial acupuncture to support and relax me on my IVF journey after reading about the many benefits of treatment for fertility. Whilst I had been elsewhere, it wasn’t the right fit for me, and the Helix clinic was local to my IVF clinic. Mike made me feel at ease from the moment I arrived in the quaint news house practice with his calming nature and expertise. Each session started with a chat about your health and any areas of concern/ focus before the acupuncture treatment. I always looked forward to my sessions during a particularly stressful time of appointments and medication that always left me with feelings of calmness that lasted for days. I particularly enjoyed the breathing techniques that Mike shared and I continue to use these when I feel overwhelmed. I mean how is it possible that a handful of needles placed in the right place can relieve your pain or calm your anxiety? It’s complicated and beautiful and based on teachings that are thousands of years old. During my last session I saw the colour violet which was a new and beautiful experience I found to be related to the chakras. I highly recommend Mike at the Helix centre. He was always very accommodating often with short notice and I can’t thank him enough for what I believe resulted in a positive pregnancy test after a long journey of trying to conceive. I look forward to continue visiting the centre during my pregnancy and the new found anxieties this brings! Thank you Mike!

I had acupuncture with Mike in the lead up to, and through my IVF treatment. The sessions were so relaxing and allowed me to totally switch off from the worries of the treatment and helped with some of the side effects that IVF drugs can result in. I'm happy to say I'm now 5 months pregnant and wanted to come back and thank Mike and clinic for helping me through that time. Having been a bit sceptical of acupuncture in the past, I would now not hesitate to go for further treatment.

I decided to look for someone who specialised in fertility acupuncture following two miscarriages last year. I have experienced acupuncture previously so I was familiar with the technique. Mike was really welcoming and made me immediately feel at ease following what had actually been a very stressful and traumatic time. He was very knowledgeable and reassuring. My first block of sessions concentrated on my cycle and getting this back to how it had been before the losses, I felt that this went extremely well and Mike was really great at explaining what we should aim for. I was able to thoroughly relax during the sessions and it is always completely painless. I continued to go to see Mike for 2 full cycles as he suggested and I was delighted to fall pregnant following the second cycle. I am now 16 weeks and he has supported me through the troublesome sickness I experienced during the first 12 weeks wonderfully as well. I cannot recommend Mike and the Helix clinic enough and will be returning to him towards the end of the pregnancy to hopefully help with a smooth birth. Thanks Mike!!

I’d heard mixed reviews about acupuncture but decided to give it a try. I chose Helix as they specialised in fertility & IVF support and I’m very glad I did! Mike has been my main practitioner for over 2 years and I’ve also had sessions with the other practitioners during that time. All are very friendly and knowledgeable and the extra advice given has been invaluable. The process is pain free and once the needles were in place I had approx. 25 minutes to work on deep breathing and relaxation. The sessions with Mike helped me through both the stress leading up to IVF and supported me throughout the actual process when it began. I cannot recommend Mike and the team highly enough and honestly believe that acupuncture has played a big role in helping with my treatment.

I had two accupuncture sessions with Mike near the end of my pregnancy. As a first-time Mum, I wanted to decrease my chances of being induced and have a good (quick!) labour and had read good things about accupuncture + childbirth. I was new to accupuncture at the time, and Mike and the treatment made me feel relaxed and grounded after each session. After the second session, I went into labour the next day around 4 days before my due date and had a smooth 4 hour drug-free labour. I can't recommend it enough.

I've visited Mike 3 times in the past for fertility acupuncture to assist with conceiving, and each time after a short course of treatments I have fallen pregnant. I cannot recommend acupuncture and Mike's clinic enough in assisting with conceiving a pregnancy.

I had PCOS and underactive thyroid. I booked 10 sessions with mike and went every 2-3 weeks. I got pregnant by the the 8th appointment and didnt need to go back. Worth every penny and much more pleasant than IVF.

It is to find a trustee Osteopath clinic, and I came across the Helix clinic in Warren Street then booked an appointment. Monica is smiley and friendly . Monica gave her every attention to listen and take note. I came in with lower back pains and left the clinic with a brand new back. Monica's clinic is very cosy and I could just fall asleep on the bench. Monica shared a lot of insight of her knowledge. Once I heard that '' CLICK'' on my back, that release of pain was gone and that cloud 9 feeling, Excellent Massage. I have booked another session with Monica I can't wait to get clicked again ! Thanks Monica you are amazing !
