Our family has been with Heron Practice for 23 years and cannot recommend them highly enough. We have always received excellent service from the doctors and nurses at this practice and they have supported us through complex health issues, routine and preventative care and supported the whole family through a terminal diagnosis a few years ago. Even during the pandemic we were able to continue to receive a high standard of care and were offered a face to face appointment when it was needed. The online be services are great and we use them all the time. Reception staff generally get a bad rep but they take a lot of flack and do a decent job under pressure.

Top class service. I have been constantly impressed by my GP practice ever since starting a family 7 years ago. The reception staff are quick to answer the phone and are always friendly, polite and helpful. The medical and nursing staff are excellent. In particular, the early morning service for children is superb and very efficient. On several occasions, this has saved me from having to visit A+E with the kids. The links with my local pharmacy, including online ordering of repeat prescriptions, also make life easy. I think the people managing and working at this practice are doing fantastic work.

All the doctors and nurses who work here are extremely dedicated, caring and wonderful at what they do. Very clean and organised facilities. Parking on site so you can drive straight there after work. Great physio team just behind the John Scott centre . And they also offer a service where they automatically send your prescriptions to the pharmacist. I've only ever been displeased once when I woman who was not even a nurse but have been trying to take blood did mine, this was quite painful and that of the many failed attempts that quickly around nurse came to take over and he got my blood on the first time.

The doctors are lovely, but the front desk reception team are so rude everytime I've been to the doctors or called on the phone. They really need to learn to have some people skills if working on a reception desk.... if they find the job too hard then the practise should seriously consider hiring staff that deal with people in a much nicer manner.

Dr Biggs is hands down the best Doctor in heron practice, she is caring, good listener, very loving and encourages. Very concern about her patients health and her prescription is always right and on point. She makes me confident of my health and gives me hope of quick recovery when ever I am ill. They have some great and friendly doctors here and they help quickly when you have something urgent. Front desk staff can be very dismissive though, if you don't like your job look for another one

So pleased to have registered here, several local friends have as well following my advice. Well organised, friendly and highly efficient practice. There seems always an air of efficiet calm on the premises, somewhat unlike other surgeries or group practices I'd had experience of. First rate.

Dr .Bidel is really good all ways helpful and listening your concern sometimes the reception are to slow but is up to the people which is working the people who have been working the for sometimes in Heron they know what they doing but the new stuff don’t have any clue about it I am over 14 years with the practice I am satisfied with them since Dr Sandra’s left the Practist is much better then before my opinion
