Reviews of The Institute of Chinese Medicine

I came to the Institute after suffering from eczema for decades. I wanted to stop using steroid creams. I came with eczema all over my body and after 2-3 weeks of taking herbs and twice weekly acupuncture, my condition has dramatically improved. The staff are so helpful and the doctors have years of experience – it is the best acupuncture I have ever had.

Dr Lo is brilliant! She is calm, welcoming and kind. The staff are very helpful, particularly Bruce who is always so welcoming. A great place to come for acupuncture.

I had a skin condition for over 15 years and I was struggling. After some looking around I found this place and the treatment is fantastic. I’m getting better slowly thanks to his excellent herbal medication. Great customer service and recommend this place to anyone with any type of skin condition

After having a very successful acupuncture treatment elsewhere, I became interested in Chinese medicine, something I have never believed in. I went to the Institute recently and I was really impressed with the service and the place itself. I have never tried Chinese herbs before so I was keen on learning a little bit more about them and trying to understand how they can help with my metabolism. Everything was clearly explained to me and made me excited about the treatment so thank you. Additionally, I had a chat with someone with Parkinson's disease who visits the place for acupuncture and herbal remedies and his doctors are shocked with the progress he has made.
There are many Chinese herbal shops around London but it is not just about the herbs but someone working with you to understand what your problem is. I would recommend visiting the Institute especially that a consultation is not expensive, whatever kind of problem you are struggling with. However, remember that when it comes to weight management this is not a quick fix. You still have to eat healthily and exercise to achieve the best results but Chinese herbs can help you achieve that so HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I went to the institute about nine years ago as I was having problems with insomnia. I had some acupuncture done and took some herbal tea. I started to sleep better. Furthermore, my mother in law went with pains in the hips, which also resolved. Could not recommend a better place.
