Lovely, well maintained hospital. Caring and supportive staff. Limited parking but there's metered parking on the nearby roads.

The Nelsons is a health Centre with various specialist departments. I went to the MSK department. The centre was quite maybe it was due to the time my appointment was. I did not have to wait that long was in and out in no time. The staff are excellent and helpful. The centre very clean there is a large reception area leading to various departments. There is a pharmacy and a costa coffee shop with a few tables and chairs. Parking is available, car park fee applies.

Always a warm welcome here. Many thanks to Josh who helped me out over a mix up in appointments, for putting my mind at ease, and for explaining things in way I could understand such a lovely lady.. There is a small cafe on the ground floor to relax in afterwards over a coffee and cake where you are not rushed, a godsend after a diabetic eye test

Excellent service from the endoscopy team yesterday. The clinical staff were all very kind and caring and explained everything clearly - it was fascinating to watch the screen and have the various bits of my insides pointed out! (obviously you don't have to watch if you don't want to). Facilities were clean and everything went smoothly.

The people who work here are wonderful, helpful and kind but the overall management of the Centre leaves a lot to be desired. Go there for something like a blood test and you will find people crowding around the nurse to hear what the next ticket number is , something as simple as a "dot matrix" display would stop this from happening. I went there for my Covid jabs and found there were no displays saying where to go, so you had people going into the main entrance (where there were no boards, inside or outside, the entrance giving people information) and wandering around on phones. As I wrote earlier, the people working there are great and every time I have raised these issues with them they apologise and say they have raised these issues but nothing happens. It seems a shame for such a great resource and staff to be let down by lack of proactive management

A bit hit and miss. Lovely staff in the blood test centre, but no follow up of explanation what the results mean. Some doctors are very supportive and kind and really listen to you, others you get the sense they just want to get rid of you asap. When I call to get an appointment it's always a phone que, but I do get to speak with a doctor within a day or two. I received some test results on the phone by the doctor when it sounded like he was having his lunch in the background, not the greatest feeling when you are told bad news. I have at one point received wrong information about how high dose of a medicine I should be taking even though the prescribing doctor had access to what the specialist had recommended. So a bit hit and miss. I will say though, whenever there has been inconsistencies I have reported them to the clinic and I have always received a phone call the next day with someone following up and apologizing so I think they are working on their issues.

I went to have an echocardiogram and the staff member was incredibly patient, thorough and explained every image in detail to me. I was extremely grateful for the service provided.

Can't fault this place. Super clean, super helpful and friendly staff. I've used the phlebotomy and pharmacy. This is a prime example of the fact that people provide a better service when they have the right tools and enabling environment.

Absolutely amazing staff from the endoscopy department Honourable mentions: -Nikolas (greek doc) -Maura (english nurse) -Filipino nurse assistant (sorry i forgot your name x) -Chris (Irish nurse red hair) , would honestly love this woman till the end of time for how she helps out with patients. Honestly her husband has no idea how lucky he is. You are in VERY 'good' hands if you are taken care by this team of doc & nurse's. If met by other doc or nurses i would say you are in 'gods' hands just because i've never met the others. Either way these workers deserve a pay RISE!! IMMEDIATELY!! Rico x

Always have a great experience here, easy to book appointments online and when urgent will at least have a doctor call you same day gauge if they need to see you. On my recent visit I spoke to a doctor within a few hours, had a prescription and a blood test referral which I collected and got done within the same day at the health centre. My blood test results were sent to me by text the next morning! All the staff I encountered were extremely friendly and put me at ease. From the lady on the phone, the doctor who called me back and the lady who took my blood - all fantastic. I will miss this health centre when I move away!

I visited this place last week to have my covid vaccine and the experience was amazing. They work very organised and make you feel safe and relaxed. Thank you guys

After months of suffering a sports injury, my GP recommended I go to Nelson Health Clinic, where musculoskeletal specialist Luke pinpointed my issue in one session. This was followed by physio where experienced physiotherapists Nick and Jocelyn helped in the rehabilitation, both tweaking and improving on some of the prescribed exercises. As a result of their knowledgable, efficient and friendly service (including Wendy at reception!) I cannot recommend Nelson Health Clinic highly enough. (Along with my GP!)

Friendly staff, accessible parking and short waiting times and results

The phlebotomy staff here are absolutely wonderful, very friendly and calming. The centre itself is nice and clean as well.

The building is spacious and waiting times aren't too long, it has an x-ray department and unit for routine blood tests, on specific days there are specialist consultants surgeries, worth noting that these are used as GP referrals, it potentially cuts out A&E waiting times but you do need to have a GP appointment prior to being sent for these services. Also has a large pharmacy

Lovely building but I can't help thinking the technology used here was installed without thought of the people most likely to use it, the elderly and sick.
