This is a fantastic rehabilitation centre! It has everything you need all under one roof for every part of your rehabilitation and onwards. It is fully accessible for all disabilities. I can't rate this place highly enough for everything they do. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and supportive. It has a WRVS cafe which is open until 2pm each day. Free Wifi Offer transport services for appointments. Which you do need to book in advance. This centre offers: Specialist Rehabilitation Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Prosthetists, Orthotists Postual Care Specialists and Counselling. Physiotherapy Gym, Wheelchair services, Occupational Therapy, Prosthetics - casting and fitting rooms for both children and adults, Rehabilitation Counselling. The Manchester Prosthetic User Association and Manchester Wheelchair User Group are based here to offer Peer to Peer support to the centre's users. It also has a great resource area with lots of information and event details from numerous charities - Wheel Power, Limbless Association, Limb Power, Blesma, Reach, MacMillan Cancer Support, ManFit, Age UK, LimbCare and many more. The Ability Matters Store is here too, which stocks disability aids and equipment. The lovely staff can help you find exactly what you need to make your daily routine easier. Plus plenty of accessible car-parking.

Incredibly dedicated staff and everyone is so helpful and friendly. They have helped me so much up to now and with further help in the coming months I'm sure now in my mind that I will be able to live a near normal life. Nothing can be exactly the same but after 14 months in hospital and with mental issues due to brain injury, the broken bones and other internal injuries have healed and the badly damaged leg has gone I'm learning to walk again with a prosthetic. I've a long way to go but I've come a long way already. The journey hasn't been easy or pleasant but thanks to the wonderful staff on ward B6 at Salford Royal and the brilliant team of doctors and physios here at UHSM, I can at long last see the progress that seemed imossible after all those months in ICU at the Bangkok hospital. Sometimes mere words are not near enough but thank you to all the caring professional staff who have taken such good care of me, especially the physios here. God bless each and every one of them 😀 😀

Been going to the centre for years excellent treatment the staff are very knowleable and have usually come across most problems that I have had with my prosthetics and have always found a answer I cannot recommend them enough thank you for everything
