From the moment I met Mr Ali for a consultation at the beginning of July at Spire Manchester, I knew that I had found the Rhinoplasty Surgeon for me. Mr Ali examined my nose thoroughly and knew exactly what was required to achieve a more feminine nose and correct my droopy tip. Throughout my consultation he was extremely kind, professional and compassionate which made me feel greatly at ease. My surgery took place in August and at all times I felt greatly reassured and cared for by Mr Ali and the medical team prior to and after the procedure. I healed very quickly with very minimal discomfort and when the cast was removed, I just couldn’t believe how amazing my nose looked. For the first time in many years I could feel happy to see my own reflection in the mirror. Mr Ali urged me to contact him at any time if I wished to ask any questions or address any concerns, which was so very reassuring. Mr Ali’s vision and skills really are incredible and I will be eternally grateful to him for what he has achieved for me. I would strongly urge any individual that is considering a Rhinoplasty procedure to arrange a consultation with Mr Ali ☺️

I am around 3 months post op from a septorhinoplasty with Dr Khalid and I am very happy with the results, my experience was nothing like the general nose job experience that I had mentally prepared myself for, in that it was actually very smooth. My bruising and swelling was minimal, compared to others i've seen whilst doing my research before the op. After the packing dissolved at 1 week, I could already breathe so much better, whereas typically people are advised they will still be swollen and unable to breathe. The hardest part of the whole process was being unable to breathe through my nose whilst the packing was in for one week and having a sore throat from the breathing tube, both of which are unavoidable no matter who you go to. Dr Khalid is very good at what he does and is clearly very gentle and skilled whilst performing the surgery. I barely needed the pain meds if I am honest. My results are amazing, it is not noticeable that I have had a nose job, my nose just looks naturally perfect, and my breathing is amazing. My nose no longer hurts when I touch it which I am very surprised about considering I am only 3 months post op and I also have the sensation returning to it as well. Dr Khalid was attentive, contacting me the day after to check and was easy to get hold of. Overall I am really happy with everything, I would do it again if I had to, and I have already recommended him to other people who suffer the same issues I did. Thanks again Dr Khalid! Jodie

I had my consultation with Mr Ali on the 24th November at Mr Ali’s Manchester Clinic. I have had breathing issues for approx. 20+ years after several consultations with the NHS, it was Mr Ali who could see straight away I had a deviated septum and this was causing my long term breathing issues. Mr Ali recommended I have a Septorhinoplasty to fix my breathing and also remove the dorsal hump I had. In the consultation Mr Ali asked when I would like the operation and I said I would like this done before Christmas if possible. So we decided on the 21st December, which I thought was great and super fast (approx. 4 weeks). I booked the surgery with Mr Ali’s assistant Katie, who was great and kept me up to date on each stage of the process. I was very impressed by Mr Ali and Katie’s professionalism leading up to the operation. I had my operation at Pall Mall Medical Centre and all the staff was so nice and they all really went the extra mile to make sure i was ok before and after surgery. Mr Ali came to see me after the surgery and explained everything went really well. I left the medical centre with a bag full medicines, antibiotics and stuff to clean my nose with when home. I had very minimal bruising, which I was very happy about and this went down very quickly. Recovery went really well, just a few days breathing through my nose was difficult, but this was due to the pads in my nose, but using the saline spray I was given this helped to dissolve the nose pads quickly. My Ali called me the next day to see how I was and confirmed the operation went very well and If I needed anything to contact him. Which i appreciated and was happy if i had issues i had someone to speak to. I had my appointment to remove my cast on the 29th December and I was so happy when the cast was removed the dorsal hump was gone and breathing was better… my breathing is getting better each day as the bruising is going down. I would recommend to keep using the seline spray as this has helped me with keeping my inside of my nose clean. My nose is changing every day as the bruising is going down and I am very happy with my new nose and now after all these years I can now breath through my nose. I can’t thank Mr Ali and Katie enough, I have wanted this done for 20+ years and Mr Ali and Katie made this possible with their professionalism the organisation of the whole process. I am so happy I found Mr Ali for my surgery. I would highly recommend anyone looking for Rhinoplasty / Septorhinoplasty to contact Mr Ali. Thank you for for everything.

I have to share my experience with Mr Khalid Ali. I was involved in a serious car accident 4 years ago. After 2 failed attempts with the NHS I was told there was nothing more that could be done I was left with a HUGE dip in my nose and blockage on the left hand side. I searched for 2 years yes 2 years for a surgeon many saying it was too difficult and complex to sort. I eventually found Mr Ali and contacted his secretary Clare. I had my consultation with mr Ali, he was such a soft spoken gentle guy and looked at my nose in depth he said I need ear cartilage graft and he was happy to take me on as his patient, I was relieved I just had a sense he was the one for me. He could see I was so desperate to start my life as it was before and so booked me in 2 weeks later for surgery. I had my surgery in Harley street hospital which was incredible care. I woke up with NO pain at all. Mr Ali came to see me and explained it had gone amazing and showed me pictures of my nose before my cast was applied and I was so shocked this guy had in fact worked a miracle !! Better than I could ever of imagined I am a week post op now still NO pain at all !!! I have just met with mr Ali for my checkup my nose swelling is so minimal and did I mention I can BREATHE !!!!!!!! This man has truly changed my life for the better and I would recommend him over and over again. Thank you Mr Ali for giving me a new lease of life 😀 myself and my entire family are truly thankful especially my children who have their mum back

What can I say, other than simply Mr Ali changed my life! My only regret is not seeing him sooner. (Long review, but I've broken it down into the steps and waited a few months before leaving one). I'd toyed with the idea of rhinoplasty for years as a broken nose left me with insecurities galore - standing in specific places on photos (or even avoiding them all together), strategically placing myself in certain seats at work during meetings... the list goes on. Then with Zoom becoming more of a thing in the last 18 months and being on camera 40hrs a week, the insecurities just got worse so I had to do something about it. The consultation at Spire with Mr Ali was great. Not long, but that's down to his great vision and years of experience, he knows what you want and seeing his calm approach to things I knew I needed to go on this journey with him. The day of the surgery soon came around (open nose). The team that looked after me (I wish I could remember their names!) were absolutely outstanding. Down to earth but professional, and they couldn't do enough for me. I felt so calm considering what was about to happen! After the surgery I could not believe how painless it was. My bruising was very light and breathing was obviously a bit more difficult than normal but that soon passed after a couple of days and before I knew it I was having my follow-up to remove the cast/sutures. My recovery has been really quick, painless and both Mr Ali and I are really pleased with the results! I've had loads of people saying "you didn't need it doing", but I did it for me, not for them and now I feel so much more confident it's fantastic. There are plenty of places out there and other surgeons that could do this procedure cheaper I'm sure. But this is really important surgery so paying that bit more for peace of mind that you're in competent and experienced hands is well worth it. To Mr Ali and his incredible team: thank you so much. To people considering this: my only advice is do your research, don't cut costs, trust your instincts and make sure you're doing it for you!

The appearance of my nose has bothered me all my life and after two failed surgeries, one of which left me with a horrible raised scar, I was almost resigned to the fact that it was beyond any surgeon to put right until I rang the Spire Hospital in Manchester where Mr Khalid Ali was recommended to me. I met Mr Ali in his clinic really believing that there wouldn’t be much he could do for me. He was so nice and very reassuring and wasn’t phased by my nose at all - what I can remember him saying to me was “let me give you a beautiful nose”. Those words alone amazed me! On the 13th April this year I underwent open rhinoplasty and scar revision surgery at the First Trust hospital in Preston. I was very anxious before the surgery, especially after my previous experience, but was constantly reassured by Mr Ali and the staff at the hospital - the surgery lasted 3 and a half hours - my nose inside after previous surgeries was a mess - it looked a mess as well. I am almost 5 weeks post op now and all I can say is WOW. My nose has been completely transformed - Mr Ali is absolutely amazing at what he does. My nose is beautiful and the horrible scar I had is no longer visible. I am absolutely delighted with the results and cannot recommend Mr Ali highly enough. If you are considering Rhinoplasty Mr Ali really is your man. Go and see him in his clinic, it’s the best thing I ever did!

I cannot thank Mr Ali enough for my new nose. I love it. Mr Ali took great care before my operation giving me advice on medication (since i have to take a blood thinning tablet due to previous illness) I was quite worried but he put me at ease and the surgery was a great experience. Mr Ali did a Septoplasty and a rhinoplasty for a small bump that I had. Prior to the procedure Mr Ali called because I was unsure about going ahead for both. I am writing this review based on my personal experience though it appears under the name of my husband due to a technical issue. I am a middle aged woman who suffers from a blocked nose which rendered me a mouth breather since my late teenage years. My 22 year old son had septoplasty on nhs but it was unsuccessful and causing him alot of pain. He was unable to breath from right side and suffering with lack of quality to life. Told by nhs it was fine. I did lots of reserch and came across Mr Ali and it truly was the best thing we did. My experience with Dr.Khalid Ali as my surgeon for Rhinoplasty has been incredible and I would highly recommend him for this procedure. I was never happy with the appearance of my overall nose, mainly the bend in my septum, in which I under went some intense researching to find a good, experienced surgeon that I could go privately with. After much deliberation, I found Dr.Khalid Ali through Sprite Manchester Hospital. I booked a consultation and straight away he made me feel very confident, excited and comfortable. After discussing the issues I had with my nose, he proposed a image of what he believed he could achieve, to which I was amazed and overjoyed with. He answered all the questions which I had, reassuring me every step of the way, providing me with all the information I needed and wanted. Surgery went brilliant, no complications or problems. His method of using cold sponges clearly work wonders as I had very minimal bruising and swelling afterwards. Post surgery, I had 0 pain, only slight discomfort and a headache for maximum 2 days, I was astonished and shocked how normal I felt. My Recovery, surprisingly has been a breeze, and I’m already 2 weeks post operation. 12 days a later I had my stitches and stent removed and with much anticipation to see the reveal of my new nose, I was also nervous too. But wow he has done such an amazing job, it’s finally straight, smaller and so pretty, well suited to my face...I love my new nose! I cannot thank him enough for making me a very happy woman!

I've had breathing issues for the best part of 15 years which 11 years ago cumulated in a septoplasty in the NHS. Unfortunately it was unsuccessful and when I went back I was told there was nothing further that could be done and that any existing issues were essentially 'in my head'. I went about my life but over the past few years it's become increasingly worse - to the point where it was affecting my sleep every single night, and ultimately my mental health. I decided to get a second opinion and researched ENT surgeons in the area. I came across Mr Ali and having been through his website, credentials, qualifications and reading the reviews, I booked a consultation appointment. From the minute I stepped foot in Mr Ali's consultation room I felt listened to. He said that the problem absolutely wasn't in my head, and that there wasn't just one issue, but several that needed addressing and that he was confident he could sort my breathing. I booked in for my operation fairly soon afterwards in complete confidence. The operation itself went smoothly and the staff at the hospital (First Trust Preston) where I had the operation were brilliant. The recovery was difficult at times, mainly due to sleeping/not being able to nose breathe, but that was to be expected given the open septorhinoplasty procedure I had. What I will say, however, is that every single concern I had was addressed promptly via email or call, often within a couple of hours by Mr Ali. His communication throughout the whole process has been second to none and he has often alleviated any niggles/worries/stresses allowing me to rest easy. You can tell Mr Ali truly cares about his patients and will go above and beyond to help. A good example of this is today when I had my cast removed. When I got home I had some minor concerns/questions which I emailed to Mr Ali. He later rang me and allowed me to air any worries and immediately put my mind at ease. It is early days but I'm confident my procedure was a success. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mr Ali and should you be considering booking in for a consultation, my advice would be to go for it. You couldn't be in better, or safer, hands.

From my first consultation after Mr Ali being highly recommended for the procedure I was having to my last check up Mr Ali as been nothing but exceptional. I was due to be having a standard septoryhoplastimy due to my badly deviated septum. To my delight MR Ali during the operation had also straightened my nose to perfection ( which was badly bent), and also removed the very noticeable dent I had into my nose. I have know had 2 check ups and from the health issue this has totally been arradicated with the bonus of a perfectically straight nose. Cannot recommend Mr Ali highly enough. I would definitely recommend anyone who is interested in septorhinoplasty, rhinoplasty, and in my case both procedures in one session. There is still a little swelling which will subside but you can see from the pictures below the difference the surgery has made! Excellent Doctor. After 12 months of trying to see an ENT specialist on the NHS we found Dr Ali and within 2 weeks of him seeing our 18 month old son he was having the surgery to correct an ear problem that had been causing him problems since birth. My surgery date with Dr Ali was 02/02/2021, I had Rhinoplasty and upper blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) both together. This was my first experience with cosmetic surgery and I couldn't have had a better experience overall. I am extremely pleased with my results and continue to see improvements every day (as swelling subsides gradually). I feel that the outcome is better than I could've imagined. Dr Ali is extremely professional and I would fully recommend him for these procedures. Dr Ali's approach is very personal - he will see you for your initial consultation, before you go into theatre, he calls you a few days later to check how you're doing, he removes the sutures and cast himself when they're ready to be removed, and then you have a follow up a few weeks after that. He is also always contactable should you have any further questions throughout. I found this to be extremely helpful and reassuring. Dr Ali's well deserved reviews speak for themselves, but his qualifications and experience are second to none.
