I have been a patient at this practice for 27 years and have had nothing but the best possible care, and that includes my whole family. I am posting because I would recommend anyone to look at the St Andrews website: it is so well organized and clear. Particularly, there is a well being section that gives every possible way to get fit you can think of, and some I'd never heard of. Clearer than Google itself. I'm writing this because I'd emailed the practice totally independently to say this to them and they asked me to put it on Google. I can see why. Honestly, this practice does not deserve these negative comments because it isn't the full picture. People I know in other areas do not get this high standard of service. Especially in these covid times. I don't know what the others on here experienced, but the many happy patients don't tend to leave reviews.

I would like to thank all staff for there care during these very difficult times. You have all be polite when on the phone you have treated me with the upmost respect. I know its as hard for you guys being on the frontline as it is for anybody else. I would personnaly like to thank Dr West for his help during this time and the care I have recieved and the nurses whom have shown the same care.

This is a group practice with several GPS on site. Also nurses and they deal with many needed facilities for the local community. I have access to 3 GP's and any other when they are not on duty. Its a brilliant practice and they handle thousands of patients including myself. I feel my health issues are dealt with confidentially and they keep my records up to date and call me in for blood tests and vaccinations as and when required. I cannot fault the place and its the best practice I have ever been attached to. I feel confident here and thats important that all the staff here should be praised for their long hours and unlimited patience.

After being registered my entire life at a different medical practice in Salford, I can honestly say St Andrew's Medical Centre is absolutely brilliant! Recently moved to St Andrew's after continiously struggling to get appointments at my previous surgery. Since being at St Andrew's, I have managed to get SAME DAY appointments - something that has been previously unheard of. The staff are always friendly when they answer the phone - whereas my previous surgery never even used to answer the phone! I am seeing the same doctor for appointments, not a different one every time. The best thing I ever did was move! I think some people need to consider what they are actually complaining about... try going to another medical practice and see what they are like because believe me, some of them provide terrible service. Thank you St Andrews!

I registered at this practice during the pandemic as my previous practice was absolutely shocking; unprofessional, rude, inconsiderate staff. I didn’t expect much as I had been with my previous practice forever... but honestly this practice is 10 times better. I’ve only needed them twice but both occasions the reception staff were professional and KIND. Both times I rang and got an appointment for later that day. The gp put a prescription in and I also got that the same day. So far so good! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

I have recently been into the practice on two different occasions (as I am getting on abit now) the Kate the young lady was more than helpful and very polite on both occasions not just with me with everyone. I joined this practice in February this year and after living in a few different areas of Manchester this is by far the best practice I’ve been at. I have never had any problems getting what’s needed and medications are always done on time. I can make appointments when needed and I have never been refused. I have spoke with Rachel in many occasions who is always very helpful and gets the job done. My gp is also very good as is all the staff at the centre!

After a crazy year so far corona and all, it wasn’t the best time to be diagnosed with cancer. I was alone couldnt see family and was not sure where to turn I’ve been a frequent caller to the surgery over the past 2/3 months. I just want to say thank you to the doctors for helping me when i needed and I would also like to say a little thank you to one of your receptionists Rachelle she talked me through when I’ve been upset on more than one occasion she made me feel like I had a lot more fight in me, I like talking to her, she has a very calming way about her and she makes me feel like I can do this I’ve got this! I feel like I’m blessed to have such an amazing surgery at the end of a phone call. You really are an amazing surgery. My medications is always done ion time and all requests are fulfilled! Really helpful Administrative staff who have been friendly and patient even while facing a pandemic. My GP is also really conscientious and considerate and I feel takes my concerns seriously. Their online services and dedicated admin team deliver a high standard of patient care.

I have called the practice a number of times over the past few weeks regarding my mother in law, I must say the admin/reception staff have been most helpful and very patient with myself and family. I have only just joined this surgery and all I can say is what an improvement from my previous. I feel like royalty when I ring up. My son was unwell yesterday I was advised in the first instance to speak to the pharmacy and if they thought It was a gp matter I could call back and he would be seen, I went to the pharmacy which I was more than happy to do. This is a fantastic service my son was given medication and I didn't need to bother my gp.

PLEASE DONT ABUSE THE Staff.Today I called to the surgery to take my partner who had a nurses appointment at lunch time. I didn’t go in for obvious reasons. While sat in the car i witnessed a man giving abuse to a young staff member I was appalled at this he was screaming and shouting in a different language, the young lady the went on to come outside to try and defuse the situation and remove an old elderly lady from the situation. I wouldn’t believe me eyes. This took some guts, my partner came out and had nothing but praise for her. Me and my partner have the upmost respect for this young girl who put herself at risk of what looked like a dangerous person to protect the other staff and patients. We would just like to say a very big thank you to her as the situation could of been a lot worse. During these testing times this young lady went out of her way to help and could of got herself hurt. Very impressive.

I called them this morning for an appointment because I really need the doctor to see me, and I've been sent off to the Pharmacy. I told to the lady that I'm already on tablets couple of days ago, but still the same, and I wanted to ask something, but lady said Thank you, bye bye.... How rude is she? I tried to ask something and I told to her wait a second and she just finished the phone call!!!! Worst experience, think better to look for another GP. I didn't ask for appointment for more than a year, and now when I really needed it, I've been sent to the Pharmacy just like this!!!! UPDATE:Thank you so much Rachel for your help, to give me an appointment today, I really appreciate it!

I've only been with this practice for less than 6 months having moved from another very local practice due to shockingly poor service. I've found both the Doctors and Reception staff at St Andrews to be a pleasure to deal with. When I've called in with an urgent problem, the Doctors on each occasion have telephoned me within an hour and either called me in for examination or diagnosed me over the phone if it's been a repeat problem. The staff are clearly well looked after as they are always smiling, very helpful and friendly but what impresses me most is that the minute you walk to the desk their attention is straight on you. Other practices in the area could learn alot from St Andrews. Keep up the good work.

I have been using this surgery since 2012 and must say that this is one of the best surgeries in Salford. Reception staff keeps on changing but the doctors are very helpful. Never had any trouble or felt rushed. So many times i was accommodated for appointments at even short notice.

Always amazing doctors - very clean building, professional team and genuine doctors. Dr T Reagan is fantastic. I see some complaints here but I cannot stress enough how fortunate we are to have this level of care - having lived in several locations in the UK this is by far the best doctors.

I visit this practice regular due to a few medical issue and I would just like to say a massive thank you to all the staff on the front desk and those on the phones, always very helpful. I can always get an on the day appointment with my own gp, or if needed he girls will get a message to the gp for me and they will fit me in in an emergency.

I have just edited my review from a 1 star to a 4 star, I just rang the clinic back today to check what time I had my appointment booked it for as i had forgotten, the receptionist, Sophie, was a sweetheart, spoke to me with politeness and respect, more than made up for the other lady who sadly, seems to be incapable of doing the same. Unfortunately not 5 stars and she did initially ruin my first experience and i normally only give people in these job roles 1 chance to make a good impression, but Sophie more than made up for that.

I'm one of those people who don't generally go to the doctors, but moving back in to the area which I grew up in I registered for the doctors I had when I was a kid. This practice is amazing, very up to date, clean, and feels efficient. Plus they even listen to their patients, I have a little trouble hearing and I had trouble hearing the tanned system, so obviously people with severe hearing problems were struggling. The practice added a display system too which helped loads.

As a family I would like to say thank you on Behalf if myself father and mother. Staff nurses and gps are all brilliant, my mother calls the practice very often and sometimes more than 5 times a day. Of late she had been getting the same young lady and for some reason mum remembers her name. I cannot praise this practice enough. I moved here from Eccles Gateway which was really poor. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the GPs listen. I can always get an appointment. Please ignore the negative reviews, these are usually from people who feel that they are not getting their own way.
