P. D.Whickham Practice in my view is an excellent Practice which all levels of personnel are very good. However there is one person whom I have recently came across whom has been outstanding.
Dr Edwin has shown me a caring, empathetic approach to looking after me. Dr Edwin has used everything at her disposal to try and find the answer to my condition which is very much appreciated as I have suffered for a little while now. Although the answer is still not clear Doctor Edwin has helped me work out what is causing the pain and I am relatively back to leading a normal life now.
It’s such a shame The Whickham Practice is losing such an excellent doctor and I urge the partners not to let this GP go as Dr Edwin is a credit and a massive asset to the practice.

R. B.I requested a telephone appointment because I had a bad cough which I didn’t want to share with other patients. I was called at home by a GP the same morning. She listened very carefully to my symptoms and asked a lot of pertinent questions. She recommended treatment after inadvertently hearing me cough, and renewed a prescription I needed which had expired. I felt I was given every opportunity to share my concerns and obtain the best possible treatment
