I am 43yo and I have moved in theUk just4 years ago. Other the last few months I have started to feel demotivated, always exhausted, extremely emotional, I lost my smile. I started to think that could be an early stage of peri menopause. I spoke with my GP but honestly in less than 10 minutes the only solution I’d been proposed it was a blood test that didn’t worried him. Initially I thought that feeling unwell was linked to the Covid situation but luckily enough I decided to investigate better and I was also scared of not being able to express my feelings due to the linguistic barrier and I felt very intimidated.
I still remember one day I felt really miserable so I decided to take an action.
Last December I had my first appointment with Dottor Clare and it was literally LIFE CHANGING.
The appointment lasted almost one hour. I had the opportunity to describe all my symptoms and my concerns. Dott Clare propose me the HRT and the medicine were delivered directly at home 2 days later thanks to a pharmacy partnership.
I am extremely happy with the overall experience and I strongly recommend to all the women to trust it and to speak. You don’t have to accept your symptoms because “menopause is natural “.
Thanks My Menopause Centre, I love you :)

My consultation with My Menopause Centre was tailored exactly for my needs. I was able to provide a good level of relevant information up front to support discussions - and to ask questions throughout. At the end of the consultation I feel we had covered everything that we set about to discuss. I also had a clear understanding of my options in terms of treatment and what to expect next.
The output of my consultation was a letter to me and to my GP surgery, capturing the details, made reference to the relevant guidelines to support understanding for me as a patient (and also any healthcare professional reading the letter) and the treatment options. This provided a great starting point for a comprehensive discussion with the practice nurse.
I am quite certain that for many reasons (pandemic, appointment duration, sufficient training/knowledge/experience) it would be difficult to have the same level of input just through my general practice alone. My consultation provided information and guidance to support decision making about my treatment and current/future health.

Had a consultation with Dr Clare Spencer and I can't recommend her enough. She was so easy to talk to. She put me at ease and really listened to me. She understood how I was feeling and reassured me that there was something that could be done. She was so knowledgable and answered all my questions. I feel 100% better just for talking to her. I would definately recommend My Menopause Centre.

My Menopause Centre is excellent! They provide a self-assessment, lots of useful, practical information on-line, a free newsletter with lots of useful practical info, BLOGs from women who have struggled with the menopause and found different ways through, and regular webinars. All of this is free. I also used their consultancy service (this part you pay for) and the advice I was given by Dr Clare, was then given to my GP, who then supported changes to my HRT and referal for some investigations. I wish I had found them and used their services years ago, as the menopause has been really difficult for me, and I have had to research it myself over the years as the info that the NHS knows and provides is almost non-existant. So having access to people who really know what they are talking about has been so valuable for me. I often share their info with any women I come across in their 40s who are starting to feel a range of symptoms, and have also referred some male friends to them also for onward links related to the male menopause.

After struggling with symptoms for years, feeling completely unsupported by my GP, I decided to seek specialist help from My Menopause Centre after a recommendation from a family member. I was fed up of feeling rubbish, and my symptoms were starting to dominate my home and work life and were affecting my family relationships. I hadn’t felt like myself in a long time and didn’t know where else to turn. After my appointment with Dr Clare, I left feeling as though a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Having 50 minutes to talk in detail about how I was feeling, about my symptoms and to receive reassurance that I wasn’t going mad or simply ‘getting old’, was the advice that I needed to hear and was overall, a liberating and positive experience. Dr Clare was patient, kind and understanding and I felt completely at ease with her. Together we made an action plan for the next few months and moving forward, I already feel positive about the change that’s to come. I’d highly recommend MMC to any woman who is struggling through the menopause. The appointment was worth every single penny - you can’t put a price on health.

I would highly recommend My Menopause Centre. I was searching for more information and help after feeling abandoned by my GP. I had started HRT after much deliberation but during lockdown I experienced a few awful migraines and my doctors just said to stop taking it immediately and there was nothing further to be done. I booked a session with Dr Clare Spencer who was wonderful. After a few faltering technical issues we had an incredibly detailed and frank chat. It felt wonderful to talk to another woman who not only understood what I was going through but had the medical knowledge to help and put my mind at rest. As a result of Clare's letter to my doctor I not only started on another HRT patch but supplemented it with other medication to help. The whole experience felt so empowering and positive, thank you Clare. x

I can't recommend My Menopause Centre more highly. After taking their brilliant and totally free questionnaire I was able to read up on the specific symptoms I have been experiencing over the last 12-months. I went into my 121 consultation with Dr Clare much more informed and with a bunch of questions that related to me and not general menopause. A 'golden' hour later I came away feeling totally reassured and armed with the knowledge of how to manage my symptoms into the future. Thank-you.

I feel very lucky to have found Dr Clare Spencer at My Menopause Centre. I was suffering menopause symptoms for more than 3 years while on my previous HRT treatment and I couldn't get through to my GP. Dr Spencer is very attentive and knowledgable. She offered a different HRT treatment and the result was like recovering from a long illness and a return to normal and happy life. Thank you very much Clare.

First visit to my menopause centre yesterday and I cannot say how happy I was with the experience. My story was listened to and the advice and information I received from Dr Spencer was excellent. She put me totally at ease and listened to everything I had to say offering advice on what steps to take next. The whole experience was so easy, from booking the appointment to the video consultation. The website contains all the information you need but if not the centre are easy to contact and offer as much help as they can. Having been postmenopausal for a few years I really thought it was too late for me to receive help but no, it seems not and that meant so much to hear! Thank you so much for all your help. I would most definitely recommend My Menopause Centre to anyone experiencing any menopausal symptoms whether perimenopausal or postmenopausal. It is never too late!

I would highly recommend My Menopause Centre to any women approaching perimenopause, and also to health professionals who see women approaching menopause. If I had had access to Dr Clare Spencer's expert evidence-based advice and scientific explanations of the menopause 5 years ago when I reached perimenopause, I would have understood what was happening to me, and known what to do about it. The website is welcoming, easy to navigate and full of supportive information on symptoms of menopause, and the best ways of treating and managing the symptoms. It dispels myths that have stopped so many women seeking help with debilitating symptoms. Thank-you Dr Clare and Helen for launching this.

Just excellent- finally feel listened to and understood! Great advice given and detailed advice about the type of HRT I could use. All costs transparent and upfront. I would highly recommend anyone to them. I only wish I'd known about them earlier!

What a difference it makes to be heard and and then to be so well explained about all the options available. I’m so grateful and would highly recommend.
