J. J.Excellent practice. I needed an urgent appointment for my toddler and Dr Smith phoned me back promptly and then saw him an hour later. She was wonderful with my son. Amazing service, especially knowing how stretched the NHS is at the moment. Thank you!

M. G. (.I've been going here for years and never had any problems. The reception staff have to send you to a pharmacy instead of seeing a doctor sometimes because the NHS isn't being funded correctly. In my opinion if you have a common cold you shouldn't be booking a doctor's appointment, but unfortunately some people still try.

B. D.When I read of problems suffered by others in trying to get an appointment and service from their surgery I am just so pleased that we are with The Oaks Medical Centre. Staff, nurses and doctors are first class and always do their best for their patients.
I prefer not to go there in first place for we never call in to say how well we are, but good to know that they are there when needed and will look after us.
Appointments and medication repeat prescriptions can be done on-line via Patient Access. A couple of small problems, sorted by staff, early on but we find the system ideal, especially booking appointments with our doctors. If a specific doctor is not necessary appointments are usually available next day. If urgent I have experienced the 'sit-and-wait' plus nurses are very helpful.
Yes, we are happy with our surgery.
P. B.I've seen most of the doctors at this practice and they all seem pretty good to me. I also like being able to order my prescriptions online. Having worked in the NHS myself for 10 years I understand the pressures that they work under, I also know some people prefer to complain rather than understand and work with professionals.
