After 2 weeks pain & GP saying my 84 yr old Mum had groin strain & an MRI couldn't be done for 3 weeks she came here . Was found to have Subcapital fracture of femur. Straight to A & E now had Dynamic hip screw op. Excellent service. Thank you Dr Hany & Adam for your help. Highly recommend.

I attended the clinic on the 15th of June 2021 and found them extremely helpful and professional. they explain exactly what they were going to do and then followed the plan. I received my report that evening and have been able to arrange to get my shoulder fixed. My consultant recommended Avicenna for an MRI scan as he said they would be able to fit me in much more quickly than the hospitals he worked with. This was in November 2020 just after the second lockdown started. I contacted Avicenna early afternoon and was very pleasantly surprised that they were able to squeeze me in as the last appointment of the day. Road closure meant that I was over an hour late for the appointment but having liaised with Avicenna en route they could not have been more helpful and stayed open. This was for a tendon injury where time is important. The MRI went smoothly and professionally and the results were emailed to my consultant and myself as I was leaving the building. I would highly recommend Avicenna for their professionalism and excellent service.

I had a head mri this evening & I was very pleased with the service, he was very professional & had patience with me giving my aneixty about going into the mri scanner, I suffer severely with claustrophobia & he made me very relaxed & comfortable. Having been referred for a series of ultrasound scans by my GP I contacted the Avicenna Clinic around midday and they managed to fit me in on the very same day. I attended the clinic for my 5.30pm appointment and was extremely impressed by the setup and the professionalism of all of the practitioners that I met. First class service from very kind staff!

My doctor wanted me to have an MRI scan, which I refused because of my extreme claustrophobia, until I was told about the open MRI scanner at Avicenna. After watching the video (a few times) on their website, I agreed and an appointment was made for me within a few days. On arrival, I was very anxious but was immediately put at ease by Dr Hany, who explained the procedure with patience, understanding and professionalism. The scan itself took about 30 minutes and although I couldn't totally relax, it was not too bad. I think the fact that my husband was able to be with me and that you could see out of the side of the scanner, made the experience more bearable. I would highly recommend Avicenna Clinic to anyone who struggles with claustrophobia or anxiety. Thank you Dr Hany

8 days and I feel like l was dreaming, the professional medical care I received was exceptional from the minute Dr Haney opened the door when I had an MRI scan and I closed the door on the 8th day the dream ended. The following things had happened MRI scanfully explained and immediately said to proceed Unfortunately my medication needed adjusting things moved forward had blood test all good Dr Haney sent a text saying we could proceed today. Arrived on time and completed the preliminaries (paperwork). It was now getting close to going upstairs to the theatre the Doctor asked if I had any questions , he had painted a picture in my mind so no need for questions. THEATRE more explanations throughout the operation and the Doctor said all done. My dream was over. Thank you Dr Haney and Assistant

The clinic always accommodates our requests for scans and guided injections at short notice, providing us with rapid access to imaging reports. The service is professional, friendly and efficient. The clinic is ideally located in the centre of Peterborough with plenty of nearby parking.
