I visited the Cumberland Centre today and cannot fault the service provided. The staff were very efficient throughout. In particular the two young ladies who assessed me were friendly and professional putting me at ease and explaining everything I needed to know. The doctor reviewed my case and I was on my way home within an hour. Thank you

Couldn't have been more impressed with the staff and overall cleanliness and efficiency. I was so apprehensive about going in and packed enough books and food to see me through a good 12 hours. I was diagnosed with a ruptured achilles, casted and given crutches within the hour. Such an incredible team, thank you.

Thank you ,thankyou. My wife and I fetched up on your door 27 12 21. She had burned her leg with hot oil, we had not even sat down the nurse called her name. Many questions later the bandages were off and we were seen by the nurse, photos were taken and sent to deriford hospital. And the leg was re bandaged, the burns unit phoned to say yes you need to be seen in burns clinic. Was given paper work to go to deriford at 0ne 45, did this and got seen by the Dr very quickly, all scrubbed down using gas and air and re bandaged for 5 days got to go back early Jan to see the Dr again in clinic. Can't moan about all staff Dr's and nurses and people we mett today thank you NHS lovely job today.

Went in as needed treatment for a wound. Got seen within 10 minutes of waiting, nurses were very professional and gave the wound the treatment it needed.

What lovely polite receptionist best l have come across even helped lady to get water from the machine. Health care assistant most friendly manner along with nurse L who gave time and patients with me. People in waiting areas, was very patient waiting to be seen. That says it all very relaxed friendly staff make a big difference from start to finish. Thankyou all for your support today.

Had to go Cumberland Centre for a minor injury. The lady on reception was lovely, the young lady in triage was lovely too, I then went in to see the Nurse, she was called Diane(the matron I believe) she was so nice, explained things to me, gave me the much needed pain killers that my GP wouldn’t give me. Only downside was the wait(and we were there really early) but it happens. I also believe the staff had been subjected to a fair bit of abuse that morning, they are doing a tough job in very difficult circumstances, they are there to help us and treat us. Be kind!

The Cumberland Centre epitomises all that is good about the NHS. From the person admitting you through the entrance, the receptionist, triage and Nurse Practitioner were exceptional. I was in and out of the Centre within 45 minutes and was treated with kindness throughout. Plymouth is lucky to have such a service available. Praiseworthy indeed.

I was rushed in to the Cumberland centre with a broken ankle at the beginning of last mouth. The staff couldn't have been lovelier and kinder. They really put me at ease and have been amazing every time I have needed to contact them. If i could give them more than 5 stars, I would. We are so lucky to have the NHS! This unit is a credit to the NHS. Brought my partner due to a very sensitive matter, they had the up most respect for her. From the receptionist being very caring and attentive. To the specialst nurse coming outside to speak to her when she was too freaked out to enter the building. They had a 4.5 hour wait but gave her a private room so she never felt uncomfortable and attended to her as quickly as they could. I express enough how amazing their care was from start to finish and completely holistic! Thank you to all the staff today, you have made someone day a little bit better.

Went today with a minor finger injury, unfortunately chose the wrong day as they where so busy I was there for nearly 4.5 hr!! I was told by one of the nurses that she had never seen it so busy in all the years she'd been there. In fairness they did tell us at one point that Derrford was a 1.5 hr wait and anybody wishing to go there was more than welcome. It was also apparent that more serious injuries where being treated quicker than the more minor ones, which is how it should be, and there was a clinic running too which didn't help. Having said all that, all the staff were extremely helpful, polite and kind and problem sorted.

I had excellent care here following a head injury requiring glueing. I was assessed quickly and given prompt treatment by two separate nurses. Both were lovely professional and caring. One nurse went beyond her duty and helped me wash all the blood out of my long hair before she glued the laceration. I cannot fault the friendliness of all the staff here working under busy conditions. Totally disgusting that people would complain.

Dressings for ulcurs!Eye patches.scraches.burns etc.The Cumberland center deserves much more funding.cumberland center serves. A very long time to be seen today at the Cumberland centre. Arrived about 9.30 am told a 2 hour wait, this quickly became a 2.5 hour wait and finally a 5 hour wait. On arrival the receptionist was very helpful and efficient, this was followed by a very long wait to see triage 'Sam' who was very kind, helpful and professional and seemed to be the only one actually seeing patients at a good pace. I understand that they were short staffed today but there seemed to be a lot of time between patients for the sparse practitioners on duty today. Finally after a considerable wait I was seen by 'matron' who was amazingly thorough, efficient and supportive of my injuries and concerns. After examining me I was sent for an x-ray, again like Sam the radiographer was efficient and helpful. Called in again by 'matron' shortly after returning from x-ray, who explained the findings and treatment required. All in all hats off to the receptionist, triage Sam, the radiographer and 'matron'. They seemed to be the only staff working at an acceptable pace to minimise waiting time.

Due to current circumstances my appointment was delayed for almost a year. The professional and caring attention given to me today from the greeting on the entrance system to the my leaving after the Microsuction was professional as well as being human. Thanks to all concerned.

I received an excellent, professional and friendly service from the Cumberland Minor Injuries Department. Staff gave all of us in the waiting area frequent, detailed updates on delays caused by a computer system problem. This good communication made me relax and have confidence in the Department. This must have been a stressful time for staff but they did not transmit that to patients and staff remained calm, friendly and efficient.

I arrived at the Cumberland Centre MiU a.m. on 9:12:2018 in extreme pain & feeling particularly unwell. I was triaged within a few minutes. After a wait of little over half an hour I met the Nurse Practitioner who was kind, caring & professional with a friendly disposition. After hearing my symptoms & providing a gentle (L) ear examination she diagnosed a perforated ear drum & inner ear infection. She alleviated my fears & left me feeling calmed & confident that all would be well. She returned with a course of anti-biotics & wished me well, adding that I should get the healing process checked by my own gp in 14 days. I couldn't have asked for more. A BIG thank you to the Nurse Practitioner. I hope she realises how excellent she is. In the NHS we still have the best healthcare system on the world despite successive governments disrespectfully using it as a political football. Again, thank you!! (Happy to supply this in writing along with my full name & address to the Cumberland Centre if you wish).

Had a lovely nurse jo looking after me. Waited only 20 minutes to be seen. Everyone was friendly and professional. Care was of the highest level. What was an unpleasant experience sorted in under an hour. I am very greatful. Keep up the good work!

Visited with broken ribs. Quick initial viewing. Overall service 1.5 hours. Kind friendly nurses and staff. How surgeries should all be run. Could have been a little quicker but still very acceptable.

The nurses and other staff are very friendly. The Cumberland Centre is suitable for minor injuries which would otherwise increase the waiting times at Derriford. It's a calmer atmosphere than Derriford. You can also have routine X-Rays scheduled here so that you don't have to brave parking at Derriford.

5 star for Derriford one star for Cumberland center, Need to review their times as on the door says its open till 10pm the internet say 9pm and when we arrived at 8 pm they said that they shut at 7 so then had to drive further with my son in pain when I could have avoided taking him to the Cumberland centre in the first place and the Nurse was quite rude about it too, on the plus side Derriford were very lovely and at least it wasn't serious but could of been a whole lot nastier

Very helpful and friendly staff and with little wait, was xray'd within half hour of being there where as derriford just told me they wont do it and sent me home (had a hematoma in my leg)
