G. H.I have been a patient for over 40 years. The surgery is well run, despite other comments I have always found the receptionists delightful, and the doctors are all caring and professional. On the rare instances I have needed to see a doctor I have been given an appointment very promptly. I have no complaints whatsoever.
W.I have recently joined North Road West and have had really pleasant experiences with the receptionists, and the doctor I've been assigned. They were caring, attentive and thorough with me, which I definitely appreciate when it comes to healthcare. I'm glad to be with them
D. S.Every time I come to this surgery they are always extremely late. I’m currently sat here after getting a last second appoint for half 10 (which was booked at 09:40) and yet I still haven’t been seen and half an hour has already passed. I have been a member at this surgery for nearly 4 years and I don’t think they have ever been on time and I have also never been with the same Doctor.
On this occasion the receptionist was polite enough but normally they’re very rude and abrupt.
The doctors however are always really polite, friendly and genuinely seem like the want to help.
L. o. T. l.The same as any 'bussiness' in UK, OVERWORKED staff because they are UNDERSTAFFED. Every industry uses the same 'PROFIT' model, less employees more profits. Only this OUR health and shouldnt be run like a business its more important than that!
Update :
I finally had a session with a doctor the was holistic and not only focused on one symptom but the cause behind all my issues. There are some good Doctors here!
I haven't seen a doctor since March 2020, they are such an endangered species, mean while the only way I found out I had pneumonia was to go 111 or 999. Try elsewhere there are caring doctors out there, but these guys being based in City centre, deal with addicts every day and have become very jaded and judgemental.
W. G.Having been a patient for 40 years, all the doctors & staff during this period have been helpful, polite & friendly. Going back to the 1980s a patient picked up the computer in reception & threw it at the staff, this is the reason the counter partition has been in place. They have a great deal to put up with, so don't be to quick to make bad criticisms. I'M ONLY SAYING!
O. X.Admittedly it is quite difficult to get an appointment, and wait times are long however this is probably the best surgery I have been to. You get listened to and treated with respect, with your problems and issues listened to. I have seen two doctors, who were both extremely helpful; especially doctor Potter who is very helpful and polite. Would recommend.
J. H.I have been a patient here for approximately 12 years . I have only ever had 1 problem, when i was told i used to many gluco strips for testing diabetic blood sugars.when i explained i was type 1, and had to test sugar levels to know how much insulin to take, they were fine and very apologetic .receptionist have always tried their best to help me and I've seen the same with other patients.
Dr potter is brilliant, he's polite but down to earth proffesional.
m. k.I have been a patient here for 22 years I have never found the receptionists rude. I can't understand how people are saying they are awkward and rude. This is a good surgery.
C. G.I have been to a number off doctors in my life time and this is by far the best surgery I have been to I have to take medication regular and I have never been let down by this doctors. Also my son has autism and adhd and he has to take a lot off medications as well I always get my Meds on time and so does he. The secuterys are kind helpfull and always seem to be happy so I would recommend this surgery to anyone reading this post.
U. R.Have always been to scared to see a Dr which meant leaving an illness for a few years until i was forced to sign up by my partner. Im glad i did as finally being sorted out Been in a few times now never had any issues staff are friendly and everything has been good :D
T.This place is indeed very busy, but I personally have had nothing but pleasant experiences with the staff there. It's a nice, clean and friendly local doctors' with a boots pharmacy basically attached for convenient prescriptions..what more could you want?

j. s.Doctors are good! Typical stereo type Receptionists can't get past them, regardless, out of touch with patients.
J. T.The receptions all think they are Doctors, however they lack the people skills and suffer from attention deficit. The proper Doctors are great.
