Had a hip revision on the 23rd June at Practice Plus Plymouth. I cannot praise them enough, from admissions through to all treatment that I received was really excellent. It made a very anxious situation for me a really good experience. The staff were amazing, the surgery was excellent , the care & kindness shown towards me was soooo lovely. Thanks guys for everything. I am now on the road to recovery all thanks to all of you lovely people. 💖

I came in for revision TKR and must admit I was dreading the experience somewhat because of what I had gone through before in a different hospital. This time, all my fears were put to rest by amazing staff and calm premises. As for staff, specialists as well as nurses, cannot fault them. Everything was a really good experience under slightly tricky circumstances and I felt completely at ease in the hands of doctors with regular visits, friendly, kind and well-trained nurses who couldn't do more for you, and very, very good physio staff who knew the difference between being too pushy and helpful encouragement (which was very important in my case). I ve had some horrible experiences in the past, but this so far - 1 week post op) has more than made up for all the trauma I had to go through for years (even had edible food). I wanted to express my gratitude here to all the staff, as well as my relief so that others might benefit, too. Highly recommend. Thank you again.

I had a total knee replacement 6 weeks ago and could not have had better treatments anywhere. ALL the staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble at any time of the day or night, they were ALL amazing. I recently had an operation to remove my thyroid at the peninsula hospital. I would like to thank all the staff, from the receptionist, the nurses, the theatre staff and of course my surgeon Mr Malik. As this was my first stay in hospital let alone my first operation, they all made my stay very reassuring and put me at ease. The ward and facilities were superb. Once again many thanks to the whole team.

Truly amazing place and very impressed at how quickly I was seen. All in all 5 weeks on from requesting my GP refer me to Penninsula for possible surgery. I have met with my consultant, Mr Brown had my foot surgery and the follow up app. All the staff I met along my journey were wonderful, caring, friendly and knowledgeable. The centre itself was extremely clean and clearly well maintained. I would recommend anyone who is given the opportunity to have surgery here to take it.

Update to the review below. Three months on and am now cast and boot free. I am walking again and am thrilled. It does take some adjusting to but well worth having the surgery. I am using one crutch just to be safe going up and down stairs. It is great walking again. 25 September 2018 Excellent, polite and so professional. I saw Mr Brown about an ankle fusion and he was so good at explaining everything to me. All staff were superb , kind and professional. David Saunders

Having a recent full knee replacement, I found the facilities, quality of care and staff exceptional. They all may you feel welcome and the treatment was more than I could wish for. Even down to the staff who made you feel at home. My anxieties were soon passing. The hygiene was excellent and the food, well I may have put on a little. All very fresh and to tasty for me to refuse. I’m so glad I came here and not Nuffield or Derriford. Even had a follow up call once Home to check I was ok. Excellent

I had a full knee replacement on 19th February 2019, that's two days ago. I came home yesterday, that's the day after the surgery, and after receiving the very best care and treatment from every single member of staff I came into contact with. The whole experience has been positive and I would not hesitate to recommend Peninsula Treatment Centre to anyone looking for excellent treatment and care. I would certainly request any other treatment that I may require in the future to be undertaken there. In fact I will be back next week to fulfill the physiotherapy programme that will ensure that my knee replacement will be as good as it can possibly be. It's partly thanks to Adam one of the physiotherapists at Peninsula that I was able to be able to come home as soon as I did. Grateful thanks to Mr Wudecki and all concerned.

Just had my hernia repaired. Did have to wait 4 hours before I went through to surgery, and it was never explained why I was called in an hour earlier, so was starved for 20 hours. However, was very well looked after by all the nursing staff, and over all a very pleasant experience.

Preliminary visit excellent, what a lovely facility. ALL staff from reception to nurses, including the specialist were so polite and went out of their way to be kind and helpful..... and was early on a cold Monday morning! Keep it up. I had a knee replacement .What can i say about the people that work their.They were all brilliant,nothing was to much trouble,from the catering staff to Mr Brown the surgeon. I would recommend to have your surgery here.Its more like being at home then in hospital.

I have just been given the all clear after a cataracts operation here and I am so glad that I decided to opt for the Peninsula Trust when offered by the optician as everything was made so easy by all of the staff throughout. A pristine modern building with good cafe , tv etc whilst waiting . I can not praise and thank them enough.
