I went to see Karolina for fertility massages after multiple miscarriages and then once pregnant again I went for acupuncture every 10 days to help support my pregnancy until 12 weeks. Since struggling to get pregnant through IVF, I looked into things I could do to support the process and came across acupuncture. After requesting information from a number of acupuncturists in Reading, Karolina responded swiftly and we had a virtual consultation where she shared fertility advice on diet, exercise and general well-being and talked me through acupuncture and it’s benefits. As a newbie, I found this really helpful and booked myself in for a session. Since then, I began seeing Karolina almost weekly. She supported me through another IVF cycle and although it sadly wasn’t successful, she helped me pick myself up and get back to it. She supported me through surgery to excise endometriosis, and after a subsequent IVF cycle with lots of acupuncture to support, I’m now 16 weeks pregnant. I can’t thank Karolina enough for helping me through this journey. Karolina is a brilliant and very knowledgeable accupuncturist, but on top of this she is also extremely kind. I started seeing Karolina due to fertility issues and she was so helpful and caring. Not only did I find the sessions super relaxing but I also had someone to talk to! Was searching for fertility accupunture after having a miscarriage at the end of 2020 and trying again for 10 months with no luck. Came across karolinas page and reviews and managed to book in a consultation and first session a few days later. I am terrified of needles but karolina is so warm and welcoming and really put me at ease. I do not normally write reviews, however it was Karolina's reviews that prompted me to call her and it was the best decision I could have made. My husband and I are both 36 yrs old had been told we had unexplained infertility after 15 months of trying. I had heard acupuncture could help and I was prepared to try anything. Karolina has been unbelievably thoughtful and thorough. She lent me books on fertility nutrition, she kept up to date with my cycles and helped me research any new information I received from the Drs. regarding hormones etc. Most importantly the acupuncture itself had an immediate effect on me. I felt mentally and physically calmer and lighter after the very first session which for me was one of the main goals. Since seeing Karolina I have managed stress and anxiety much better. I highly recommend Karolina. It was my first time trying acupuncture and I was slightly sceptical and nervous at first, however, Karolina made the whole experience so calm and reassuring. This was my first experience of acupuncture and Karolina instantly made me feel at ease. I came to the appointments a little sceptical particularly as I had tired several other treatment options before with little benefit. Review I would really recommend Karolina - I started acupuncture in September last year to treat PCOS. In the first consultation she went through various aspects of my health, diet and lifestyle, helping me to understand how acupuncture looks at the whole body holistically. I began with fortnightly sessions and soon upped to weekly - I felt tired at first after them but soon adapted and I actually felt more energised (and so relaxed) as the sessions went on. Karolina always listened to my preferences (at first I didn’t like having needles on my face) and helped me understand the results of blood tests I was having too. My last session with Karolina was just before Christmas as in early January I found out I was pregnant! For me, Karolina’s relaxing treatments complemented other lifestyle changes I was making and I couldn’t recommend her more.

After a couple of unsuccessful ivf treatments, I was looking for acupuncture sessions to help me go through the next transfer and increase chances of successful pregnancy. What a surprise it was when after a few sessions with Karolina I got pregnant naturally. From the beginning Karolina made me feel comfortable and relax during each session. She also gave me additional treatments when I started bleeding and she arranged an appointment quickly regardless a short notice. I’ve been seeing Karolina for acupuncture for about two months. I am a chronic sufferer of migraine, having four or more episodes weekly when I first consulted Karolina. After a month or so the episodes began to decrease and now I’m averaging around one a week, which to me is an amazing result. It’s wonderful to wake up without a headache, not just occasionally, but regularly. I’m continuing to visit Karolina on a monthly basis to maintain my current state and who knows, maybe have regular weeks without migraine. I went to see Karolina weekly for some acupuncture at the end of my pregnancy to help prepare my body for birth. I was hoping for a VBAC and as I wasn’t suitable for induction at the hospital due to previous complications, I didn’t want to go overdue otherwise I’d have to have another C-section. Karolina started by ripening my cervix and then built up to an induction treatment at 40 weeks. My baby was born surprisingly efficiently at 40+3 in the hallway at home after a straightforward 2 hour labour. The paramedics arrived just in time! Throughout my treatments with Karolina I felt so relaxed and really looked forward to our sessions. She is incredible. I went to see Karolina last week (after being in a lot of pain for the previous 2 weeks!) for a lower back pain which I get infrequently, but which really affects my day-to-day work a lot. To be fair I was not expecting immediate relief, but a single session of electro-acupuncture (which I think was essentially two points on my leg - I didn't really look!) had me absolutely amazed! I was literally leaving the treatment room, and going down the stairs was totally pain free - with this backache I had particular trouble with stairs, but this was incredible... Overnight there was no problem, and I am really pleased to say that I have had no pain at all since. I am so grateful to Karolina for working her magic. I am no longer in pain, and can cycle and run without any discomfort at all. I know where I'm going the next time I have a problem - and I certainly won't be waiting in pain for two weeks before I ask for help! Thank you Karolina - you have no idea how much this means to me! I found Karolina when I was in an extremely low place due to trying for two years to fall pregnant and failing. My first session started with Karolina going over my history where she sat and listened, and straight away I felt relaxed and comfortable about my problems. I explained that I already had a beautiful little boy who was born in 2015 which I had naturally after 18months of trying. We decided we wanted more children and as it took some time to fall pregnant the first time we decided to try again after our first child turned one. Sadly, at this time my dad passed away and obviously I was not really in the right place so things weren’t happening. We decided to go down the IVF route and in May 2018 I had a fresh cycle which failed. In July 2018 I had another fresh cycle resulting in a positive pregnancy test but the day after egg transfer, I had an ovarian torsion which resulted in having an emergency operation and sadly I miscarried at around 8 weeks. In January and February 2019, I had two frozen embryo cycle which both failed. Finally, in April 2019 I had another fresh cycle resulting in a positive pregnancy test with twins although sadly, only one survived. I started seeing Karolina after my first failed round of IVF and I was quite keen to get started as I had heard it can take 3 months to start seeing results. I saw Karolina weekly and each week she would tailor my session to suit what I needed. Karolina is an extremely knowledgeable professional and a very good listener. Each week, after giving her the information she needed she would get started with inserting the needles where they needed to go. I was always very keen to know why she placed each needle where she had and Karolina was always able to explain, for example, for nourishing or relaxation. Karolina would make notes of what she did in each session, enabling her to know exactly what I had the week before and also knowing where I was with regard to my cycle and would therefore have an idea of what she thought I would be needing before the next session began. Karolina would always listen, offer advice and she really taught me how to change my way of thinking; to stop being negative but to think positively, she also taught me to visualise what I wanted out of this treatment and to think that my life really wasn’t that bad, yes I had a horrible time with IVF treatment but I had already got a child, a happy home and a loving husband. The facilities Karolina has are calming, welcoming and very comfortable and she always tried to her hardest to fit me in around egg collection and egg transfer day as I ideally I needed to see her at certain times to get the best results, which isn’t always easy to manage as sometimes I didn’t know until the night before as to whether I would be going into hospital or not and obviously I needed to fit around Karolina’s other clients who were also going through the same situation, but she always made it work. After my Ovarian Torsion, Karolina had a discussion with me as to whether my husband had any checks done on himself or whether he would like to have some acupuncture. My husband has a fear of needles but made an appointment with Karolina as we felt anything was worth a go. She listened to what he had to say and picked up on something that she thought didn’t sound right and actually pointed him the direction of a very well-known infertility doctor. I can honestly say that if it wasn’t for Karolina’s listening skills, knowledge, acupuncture skills and contacts we would not be pregnant now. My husband went under further checks with the consultant, we both completely changed our diet which again was down to Karolina and I continued to have weekly acupuncture appointments. From the checks my husband had, his sperm made huge improvements and I am certain that from the combination of acupuncture and improved diet this is the reason why I am now pregnant. I highly recommend Karolina as she is kind, caring, very knowledgeable and I cannot thank her enough for what she has done for myself and my family.

Karolina treated my son for acute torticollis (twisted neck) and hives infection. Before treatment my son head very limited movement and was on regular painkillers. His neck movement improved greatly immediately post treatment and further still 12 hours later. With regards to his hives infection we noticed no improvement whilst on medication for 5 days. Post treatment rash appears noticeably less angry and stopped spreading. Karolina is very knowledgeable and passionate and we are committed to use her skills again in the future.

I can’t recommend Karolina enough, i have never felt such a effective touch In accupunture, tuina and cupping occasionally. Karolina is a naturally gifted well rounded practioner of chinese medecine and i have consulted with her for many different treatments: cold, stress, physical fatigue/pain, or simple relaxation. I have never experienced this before : it is very rare for me to feel her needle going in (and i am squeamish) but everytime i have feel the release of energy. Karolina is patient, listen carefully to her client and will take time to ensure all the symptoms and the cause of the problems are treated. I had a keyhole knee surgery last October so though I would give acupuncture a go. I should have done it sooner! Totally helped me a lot with my recovering process with only 2 sessions.I will definitely have some more for sure. You can add other treatments at the same time. My shoulders were also really painful because of my work and Karolina advised me to have the Cupping and the final results made me feel very relaxed. The great thing is that Acupuncture is not as painful as you think because at the end the day the rewards are far greater than the efforts!

Best relaxing and skin plumping facial by far! Initially a bit scared but she puts you at such ease, it’s a walk in the park. She’s very calming and has a lovely way about her. She talks you through what will be happening, so nothing's a surprise. The thought of Accupuncture in the face was a bit daunting, especially when it’s roughly 50/60 needles but with her careful and gentle approach, you hardly feel a thing. You then lie there for roughly 20 mins listening to music of your taste, I always opt for the crashing waves and instantly I’m transported to the beach! After a well needed nap, she then starts by taking the needles out, very gently and you are then treated to a beautiful facial. You are gently rolled with a jade roller which feels cool on the skin, your face is then sucked with the plumper gadget - it's just an incredible sensation and really plumps your face up and creates a lovely glow! Then, she smothers you in the most delightful Tropic skin care, with beautiful massage techniques, that alone is just wonderful. You literally don’t want it to end, by the end of it, you are relaxed beyond belief and your skin looks incredible! I wish I could have one a week! Trust me, it’s worth the money!
