u. M.We moved to register with Goring surgery about 18 months ago. Recently we have had very good experiences with various advisory nurses and a GP recently. All via telephone but there was no reason for us to be seen in person. These were non urgent appointments. The advice and treatment given was reassuring and helpful. Thank you.

The pressures of limited NHS resources mean it is sometimes necessary to wait several weeks for non urgent appointments, but they are great at fitting you in in a hurry if it's genuinely urgent. Phone consultations are sometimes possible, which is helpful. The GPs are usually excellent, and the other practice staff (nurses etc.) are unfailingly fantastic. Receptionists are generally very helpful and pleasant. Especially if you are always polite to them and don't demand the impossible.
