I want to recognise Dr Cole, I'm not a regular visitor to the GP but the last year I have had 3 occasions to engage with Dr Cole. He is outstanding. Compassionate, professional and in what must be a really challenging time for him and the surgery, always on the ball. I cannot thank him enough and hope he is getting the opportunity to take a break!

The phoneline has no queue system, you can be trying all day to get through to somebody yet its all about luck as you have to ring when the phones are down They also all take their lunch breaks at the same time - so they close the practice for an hour...this is particularly awkward for those with a set schedule or those who want to speak to somebody during their lunch I haven't had a bad experience with this practice and I've been with them for around 30 years...but it does need modernising to work with the modern world

After visiting various Doctors at Lockwood Surgery, I lastly saw Dr Denise Milford and she was exceptional. Dr Milford was patient, understanding and empathetic, and tried her hardest to find what worked best for me. I highly recommended Dr Milford as your GP as she is the best Doctor that I have visited.

If you have a computor as you obviously do, why not take charge of your own appointments online . It is a much easier system than hanging on the phone every morning at 8am. You can choose a GP of choice and a time that suits you . I also order all my repeat medications this way and pick them up directly from the chemist . I have had good and bad service at times over many years in this practise but i have to speak as i find. I nearly lost my life a few years back and received excellent follow up service from this surgery.

With so many complaints with getting GP appointments across the country, it was refreshing to receive such good service from my practice today. I phoned up at 9am and was called back by a GP at 10am after being put on the triage list. Very impressed!

Been using this for the best part of 30 years. 95% of the many doctors I have seen here have been good or excellent, only had a problem with one and that was because on two occasions her diagnosis was made without reference to the symptoms, easily sorted by not using her again..
