This year I’ve experienced some emotional challenges so I went to see Dr Malik. He was extremely compassionate & empathetic. He took me under his wing, he made changes to my medication. He was proactive in arranging a blood test to cover all bases! The blood test highlighted a couple of imbalances, which Dr Malik took charge of thereafter and I had the relevant supplements. The Nurses and all the Receptionist staff have been lovely & extremely helpful as well! I’m so glad I’m a patient at Apsley House Surgery! I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Staff are friendly and able to answer queries. Nurses are lovely, they are prompt in following up with patients. Doctors are also friendly and professional, they are able to answer your questions and you know that they really want to help you. They have improved a lot and you know that they are really paying attention to the feedback of the patients.

Appointments are available promptly wether by phone call, message or face to face appointment. I have been with apsley surgery for almost 3 years, and they have been fantastic even through the pandemic. The receptionist'are courteous polite and very helpful, the Dr's and the nurse's all very knowledgeable, capable, considerate forthright, and on the odd occasion when I have requested to seen the same Dr that has previously seen to my son they have obliged.

Great service from Dr Malik. He clarified the hospital report in easy to understand English, set next actions and gave reassurance. Dr Malik is always thorough and has the best interests of the patient at the forefront of his mind.

Fantastic practice, staff always polite. Dr Malik gies above and beyond caring for his patients. He has been with my family in our journey of sadness losing both my beloved mum and young sister within a short period. His end of life care was done with both care and dignity. He not only looks after my own health care but has been on my long journey of 12 years helping my husband and myself with his debilitating mixed vascular dementia. As s as patient i cannot thank him enough.

The service at the surgery is absolutely great. The reception staff are really helpful and manage queries over the phone rather well. Last week I contacted the surgery desperately needing help. There weren't any GP appointments left but the receptionist who's name was Shannon went out of her way to get me a call back from the GP. She was so kind and reassuring right when I needed it the most. Shannon delivered amazing customer service it was very much appreciated.

I cannot recommend this surgery enough. I followed Dr Malik here after my previous GP failed to acknowledged a mole I had,,, it turned out to be melanoma! my old GP refused to send me for specialist tests for ongoing issues that I was terrified something had spread. I saw Dr Malik and he was amazing. He put his pen down and actually listened to me. He agreed I needed more investigation and is determined to get to the bottom of my issues. Here feels like a doctor used to be! it feel like Dr Malik actually cares about his patients and the staff make it all feel more personal. The reception staff are lovely and extremely helpful as are the nurses. The best thing I have done in a long time moving here. Thank you all so much!

Having lived in Stoke all my life I have attended many surgeries, many times unable to get an appointment and endless misdaignosises. I have to say Apsley is fantastic, the team are incredible and after years of misdiagnosis from former GP's Dr Malik correctly diagnosed my skin complaint and prescribed medication which has been an absolute god send. A credit to the NHS and the surgery.
