I've had a very good experience dealing with the surgery for quite a few years. The receptionists are kind and helpful, they are a really good team. The local surgery nurse is great, and always makes you laugh no matter how bad things are. Dr. Atanasov is an absolute lifesaver, a dedicated and passionate doctor. He’s been a tremendous help in getting my health issues sorted. I can’t thank him enough for all his hard work over the years.

So good! Always so good. I've been registered with about five / six different surgeries over the years and it's never been a great experience because of rude staff, but Old Town Surgery is so different. Everyone is welcoming, caring and will do what they can to help. When you're ill and / or have a long term health condition your anxiety and stress levels can be at maximum so all you want is an easy process to get an appointment, call or repeat prescription and these guys never make you feel like you're a nuisance. Whoever does the recruiting here... NEVER LEAVE! 10/10 to everyone at Old Town Surgery.

The reception staff are so kind and helpful as are the nurses. During these trying times I have had access to the doctors by telephone. It must be so much more difficult for them than face to face but all I have been met with is politeness, efficiency and caring. Thank you ALL very much.

Excellent Surgery, although as with all of the NHS it can take a while to see a doctor. However the staff are really good and the Doctors are brilliant. Well equipped and able to preform simple minor surgery on site. Without a doubt the best practice I have been a patient with. PS I have never noticed any issues with the receptionists, all the staff seem excellent to me.

I have been with this practice for about 7 years. I find that the doctors are very helpful and informative as are the nurses. At times it looks like the reception staff are slow to respond but they are also working in a rear office which is visible and clearly trying to sort out other enquiries. Sorting out repeat prescriptions can be a nightmare especially when changing medications which involves ringing backwards and forwards between the doctors and pharmacy (although they are adjacent). Getting appointments is always difficult but compared to others surgeries in Swindon it takes less time. These days you have to be prepared to go into walk in centres if you can't get an appointment but this surgery is far better than most at avoiding this problem. Welcome to the NHS.

Been with this surgery for nearly 20 years and always had good treatments. I have never been dissapointed. Have had a minor procedure here too. There is the triage nurse who one can speak to over the phone or see if there aren't any Dr appointments.

This GP practice has restored my faith in GP, since returning to Swindon. The friendly reception staff, who are not afraid to chat to parents and hide behind glass are truly exceptional. I had returned to a previous surgery only to find reception staff treated patients like criminals. And shielding patients from Drs. From the outset I have been able to see a Dr and the Dr's give time and treat things seriously. I am very impressed - than you. You are doing a wanderfull job in the present climate of NHS privatisation from the current government.

This location houses the lift psychology team. Both the team's who manager the sliver cloud program & ESS (Employment Support Services), provided me combined resources and guidance when I found myself, at a very low point of my life in the past few months. Such NHS programs I feel are a real lifeline, in encouraging individuals to move forward when they've found themselves in a place where it not always easy to discuss certain things with a lot of people.
