Had a procedure by Mr Will Faux and he made me feel reassured by explaining and even drawing a diagram. I can't thank him enough, he has literally given me a life back. All the staff I encountered on my visits were wonderful. Thanks to all for your teamwork.

The nurses and X-ray department staff are good! Facilities are otherwise outdated. The consultants I saw were mostly arrogant with poor communication conducted by their "private secretaries", who treat you with disdain if you dare to ask any questions. Not great.

Recently had a second hip operation at the Duchy hospital with Mr Mark Norton, an amazing surgeon with year's of experience and knowledge. I highly recommend him, such a kind surgeon who genuinely wants the best for you.

On Thursday October 6 2022 ,I was admitted to the Duchy Hospital , as a Cardiac Day patient , for an Elective Diagnostic Invasive Coronary Angiogram , performed admirably by Consultant Cardiologist, Dr Mohammed Abubakr MBBS FRCP ( UK ) . The service I received by all the Staff Nurses on the Unit , and the Operating Theatre Staff , was exemplary . The standards maintained throughout the afternoon , during my recovery , were frankly outstanding . Dr Abubakr could not have been more polite , reassuring , professional , and most importantly he explained the procedure in great detail , both pre the Angiogram , and post the Angiogram , he returned to advise the results , and the way forward . I simply cannot praise Dr Abubakr enough . and the caring Staff of The Duchy Hospital , Truro , Cornwall .
