My GP requested an urgent appointment for me after finding a lump. I was seen within a week. The staff were all so kind and thoughtful. The place was spotless. Everything was explained to me every step of the way. I can't praise the hardworking caring staff enough. Thank you one and all.

Been going for 5 years now for mammograms since I was 40 as high risk and have to say the staff there are the nicest people in the world. I can’t say how much they all make you feel safe and looked after and can only describe them as angels.

I attended the Mermaid Clinic at Truro today and experienced the very best care from all the lovely staff there. I was seen by Consultant Oncoplastic & Reconstructive Breast Surgeon, Mr Iain Brown, who was the most caring, patient and kind Consultant I have ever met. I was given plenty of advice about my situation and he took his time to explain everything to me so I could understand all my options clearly. Following this I had a needle core biopsy performed by the radiologist Miklos Barta who was also very kind and caring, and he put my worries about this procedure at ease instantly. In fact the whole procedure was totally painless as he was so gentle, and he explained everything he was doing. I don’t remember their names but the two nurses who were there too were really lovely and reassuring. I now await my results, a little anxiously obviously, but much less so now than I was prior to my visit to this lovely clinic today. I am confident that whatever the outcome I am in good hands with this team looking after me.
