I cannot thank this surgery for everything they have done for my parents, the reception staff are so helpful and kind and all the GP’s who I’ve spoken to for care for my father have been 5 stars, DR O’Connell is a superb doctor, very patient and caring and has been unbelievable supportive to help care for my 90 year old father. I couldn’t praise the service that I received from Dr Day at Guardian Street Medical Centre highly enough. At present GP’s are getting quite a negative press but my experience today was brilliant. Within an hour of me speaking to the receptionist Dr Day phoned me back, and after a telephone consultation, I was invited into the surgery that afternoon. Don’t believe everything you hear on the press as Guardian Street are still delivering the exception service they have always have done.

I would have given 5 stars but getting through on phone in mornings can be a nightmare which I think most GP practices are the same. The reception staff have always been very helpful when needed. The GPs especially Dr Dickinson are always very helpful and listen to your concerns fully too.

I'm not registered here, 2 of my kids are and I've seen a GP here after an accident before. Dr J L Nash saw our 2.5 week old baby today, she was shown photos of how ill he has been for the last few days. She saw the rash appear in front of her and prescribed formula for a cow protein allergy. Having had another baby with this problem before another surgery took 6 months and several a&E trips before anyone took us seriously. I have the baby asleep on me now, the most settled after feeding since he was born..no rashes no vomiting. 2 calm parents. All staff members have been nothing but pleasant, polite and helpful here the premises are clean and the surgery well organised. All the GP's I've met here have been nothing but fantastic with our kids. Thank you to you all.

Dr Andrew Dickinson is a very kind doctor and cares about his patients Only been with the practice less than a year and had good service When joining the practice I was checked over and was assigned my named doctor who then wanted to see myself With that I then joined the PPG group at the practice. Reception staff are more than helpful and very kind. With that I give the practice five star rating

Been going here since I was a kid (Bold St before here) and I've never had a problem. To be fair until recently I have hardly ever been but the last couple of months I've spend some time there to say the least. No issue. Staff friendly. Doctors helpful and decent.
