I have been a patient at Spring Gardens for 50 years and have never considered changing. I have always found the Doctors, Nursing Staff and Admin staff professional, willing to listen and very supportive.

Having moved to Worcester in 2018, I was recommended this surgery when I arrived by a number of people. I have felt included in medical decision making. I've received excellent support from GPs, Nurses, Phlebotomists and so feel as though I have an excellent 'health team' around me. It's not easy to 'book ahead' and the poor telephone reception in Worcester has meant that I've been cut off on the phone even when I've got through. I'm not sure what the surgery can do about that though, so I've given them 5 stars for patient care.

The option that they call you back when you are near the front of the queue is brilliant! I wish other surgeries would do this! My last one you had to keep calling and calling all morning!

I have been a patient with Spring Gardens GP surgery for the last three years and five stars does not give them the credit they deserve - the receptionists are always friendly and helpful. I have been able to see/talk with the same GP who is one of the best doctors I’ve been fortunate to have known. They are interested in you as a person, thorough, and go above and beyond what most would. I am so grateful that this is my GP surgery. Thank you Spring Gardens ♥️

I switched to Spring Gardens a couple of months ago and couldn't be happier. Despite everything that's going on at the moment, they do a fantastic job. I never had any issue get hold of someone. The telephone system works well, receptionists are very friendly and the doctors really care about their patients.

Wonderful practice with a large number of doctors, all of whom seem to go the extra mile for you. If you hit the phones at 8.30 am you should get an appointment - I've never failed (ignore the "You may want to call back later" answerphone message - it's permanently on). Routine appointments are 2-4 weeks ahead, but don’t blame the practice for that - blame the government. A very caring and thorough practice.

At such a difficult time the NHS is having right now they have been very helpful and if it has not been possible to see a doctor then my consultation over the phone has been good, and the reception staff as well up and down all day to greet ppl safely at the entrance, as well as booking ppl in and taking delivery with everything thing else they have to do has been really good.

I have real mixed opinions about this doctors surgery but I'll try and give an informative view as a patient of 6 years. The Good I have found the doctors, the nurses and medical staff to be amazing. I have had a variety of problems and I've been given great quality care, my GP has gotten to know me and I can see that great care and attention is given whomever I see. The Bad Perhaps this is the case with most practices but I've found the reception staff really poor both on the phone and face to face. On 2 visits I knew I was highly neutropenic and didn't want to wait in the main area but wasn't offered any alternative by staff. The phone booking system is an outdated mess and needs to be rethought, even registering for online patient access felt like a faff. In summary where it counts this place is amazing and I've received great medical care. With better front facing staff and training and maybe just making it more convenient in a few ways this place would be better.

The last GP practice I used was excellent so was spoilt. At first was unhappy the service from the Doctors. 12 month's on I tend to see the same doctor unless they are on holiday. Due my medical issues I'm a heavy user of the NHS. Now I have good open honest relationship with my GP. I'm housebound but I do only ask for a visit when I genuinely need it no time wasting so can get appt quick. The actual surgery is desperate for a refurb its quite depressing

I went this morning for a smear test.I stressed all night long about the procedure, i was so scared, but the nurse Helen was so nice ,calm and encouraging.I didn t feel any pain, she is an angel, very professional and just amazing.I m so happy, i would give her a prize for the best nurse ever!

Cannot praise this practice enough...through a screening programme it was discovered I had a AAA ...check it out ( its serious with no symptoms) I was referred to Mr Nyamekies team at the Royal at once and had a life saving operation. Recently I have had a TKR performed by Mr Docker and am thrilled with results. I would not be enjoying life if it wasn’t for the GPs At Spring Gardens. Yearly flu jab a painless procedure carried out by caring practice nurses well worth having. I do not ask for one particular doctor when I make an appointment and have received courteous treatment from whoever I have seen. I have witnessed some patients both in the surgery reception and adjacent pharmacy being rude and impatient...my opinion is they are rude and impatient people whatever the situation... I was born in 1946 and have enjoyed the benefits of the NHS all my life...unlike my parents and grandparents whose stories of illness in their lives prior to NHS are very sad indeed. Top marks to this efficient, clean, friendly and caring medical centre Bob Strachan
