I was throughly impressed with the Avenue Clinic and Claire as a practitioner. The clinic is beautiful and a great space for healing treatments. Claire herself made me feel so welcome and was highly professional. She was caring and listened. This is one of the rare times I have felt I can talk about how I feel and it felt like a safe place to do so. She was gentle and kind and explained the treatment as she went through. I feel I have really benefited and will be definitely coming back! I can't recommend highly enough. *****

I cannot thank Claire enough for her support, care and expertise. I had been suffering with a foot injury which had been causing me pain for 18 months. The physical pain led to emotional distress, which in turn was hindering any recovery. Claire's holistic approach helped me to cope emotionally, which turned a negative spiral into a positive trajectory. Throughout this process, Claire demonstrated great knowledge, empathy, positivity and provided treatment very much tailored to my needs. Claire always kept me fully informed on the treatment process. For those unfamiliar with 5 elements acupuncture, there is nothing scary about it. An initial contact with Claire, will I'm sure be informative and reassuring. Started acupuncture a few months ago with Claire. Was a bit unsure of it as if didn’t know what to expect. From the minute I arrived she was so amazing completely out my mind at ease and talked me through everything. The difference from the treatment is unreal. I can recommend Claire Walsh, The Avenue Acupuncture Clinic without hesitation. She is professional, reassuring, friendly and explains the treatments very clearly. I came to Claire as I was suffering with pain from arthritis in my left foot, general other muscular skeletal aches, poor sleep, occasional stomach bloating and a general unease. From the outset of the treatments there was marked improvement across all of those areas. I feel more at ease within myself. I also have much more energy. I still have the arthritis in my foot but the pain from it has all but vanished. That alone has made a huge difference to my life. I always feel relaxed following my treatments and shall continue seeing Claire on a regular basis.

I have just finished my fifth session with Claire at her clinic. I have been to a few acupuncture clinics before but this was by far the best acupuncture treatment I have ever had. I have lower back pain and sciatica and was hoping to get ease from my chronic pain. Claire was very professional, well knowledged and very sympathic to my ongoing pain. I really liked how Claire talked me through each treatment and discussed what areas she was covering with the needling. I’ve never had this before and it was very reassuring to me to know this. I also really liked how Claire thanked each of my organs when she was taking out the needles. It’s like she just wants to take all the pain away from my body. My pain has reduced so much since attending Claire’s clinic, I’m feeling so much better throughout my whole body. Being very new to acupuncture, Claire made me feel very comfortable and explained everything before and throughout each session about what treatments she was using and how they connected to the organs, body, mind and spirit. She is very knowledgeable in the field and passionate about her patients and their wellbeing. I love how she tailors each session and applications based on a one-two-one with you about your health and current wellbeing needs. I came after a weakened immune system due to chicken pox and a cold afterwards so it has definitely helped strengthen my energy and immune levels.
